Beautiful, certified historic property, huge rooms. Enormous private pool, 6 seat jacuzzi area. This is not a vacation rental, but our second home. We travel a great deal and while away, we welcome those who can respect and understand what is required of an historic property. This 1870s Arts and Crafts single-family home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. 2nd bath is split bath with half bath just inside from pool area and outdoor shower just outside the door per photos. Pool and hottub were amazing.

Great historic house...with a POOL?!?!

What a delightful stay our family had. On the hot hot New Orleans days, we were able to cool off in the pool. The kids and adults loved it. Its a quirky house, but that's the magic of New Orleans!

Lots of character and amenities!

We chose this property because we wanted a place with New Orleans character, plenty of space for our family of 4, a convenient location, free parking, and a hot tub. It was a tall order, but this place delivered on all of the above! It is also across the street from a great Arepas restaurant and a Banksy mural. The hosts stayed in good communication, and check-in and check-out was simple and contactless. We would stay again!

Great House w/ a Pool

We had a great experience during our stay and would definitely recommend this house for anyone thinking of coming to NOLA. The house was very “New Orleans”, clean and well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and the house is in a great location. Easy to connect to all the main streets or a short walk to the St Charles trolley cars. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

40th Birthday Girls Trip

There were 4 adult women staying in this home for a bucket list birthday exploring New Orleans. This house was absolutely wonderful. It was clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We were a short walk to public transportation and restaurants. The pool is so much bigger than the pictures show. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience New Orleans with out being in the craziness of the Quarter.

Gathering family to celebrate

My husband and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. All of our adult children were able to join us in this beautiful home. Lots of space, hot tub was awesome and the guys enjoyed doing a few polar plunges in the pool. We were within walking distance to most things. The owner was very responsive when there was a home issue and came out New Years Day. Would highly recommend!!

The Perfect New Orleans Oasis

My group of two couples absolutely loved our stay at the Poolside Palazzo! Check-in was easy and seamless, with a very easy to remember access code (thank you!). The entire home was spotless, which is a real accomplishment in an older home in New Orleans. The kitchen was well appointed but we didn’t use it very much as there’s so much delicious food nearby. Bedrooms were delightful places to relax with beautiful stained glass, comfortable beds, and very ample storage space. As noted in some other reviews, there are two showers but one is outdoors. We made it work with 4 people, but more than that could get tricky. Really appreciated the highly effective dual AC and ceiling fans; we stayed cool as cucumbers while at the house! The real treat is of course the giant pool and great hot tub. Absolutely blissful to go for a quiet night swim under twinkling palm trees on a hot Louisiana night!!! Seriously one of the loveliest, cleanest, most comfortable vacation homes we’ve stayed at. If it’s available, stop wasting time and BOOK IT (but not when I want to go ok?)!!!

Beautiful Home

The home is very nice inside and my kids loved the pool. The house is a historic landmark and has beautiful stained galss windows and floors. The beds were comfy. The location is right of the highway, which you can see from the pool, but it's not that bad of an eyesore and is not noisy. It is only a 5 minute walk to the streetcars, which was nice. The owner/host has lots of rules, so if you are bringing kids, make sure you know them. The host was responsive, but was condesecending and arrogant at times. He left most of the responsibilities to his local contact.

Great place to stay location was close to a lot of stuff. About the only thing that was bad was the condition of the pool being dirty and you had quite a few lights not working due to bad bulbs. Just seemed a little dark throughout the house. Everyone had a great time and I’m not trying to take away from it. Just making you aware and I wasn’t going to have anything done while I was there. So I would rent again when and if time permits. Thanks

Girls Trip!

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The property, location, management team, amenities, EVERYTHING. So much room - the beds were SO FREAKIN COMFY, too. Great for a group of girls too, we had no issues all getting ready with all the space to spread out. We cannot wait to come back - Ms. Shinda was an absolute joy to work with too. Will be coming back to stay again SOON!! Worth every penny 3

Great place and location

Property is great, tons of character and rooms are large. Pool and hot tub are great amenities (we only used hot tub). The only thing I would suggest is that the listing be a little more clear about the bathroom count as there is only one full bathroom, located on the 2nd floor, and then one half bathroom located on the 1st floor.We searched for a place based on number of bedrooms and bathrooms so that was a slight disappointment, however, the house is great and our trip was only a few days so it wasn't a big deal.Highly recommend the property and the property manager is a pleasure to deal with.

So charming! And the pool and hot tub were great

The house itself couldn't be any cuter, so charming and so beautiful. The beds we're all very comfortable, and the pool and hot tub we're so incredible after walking around all day. There we plenty of towels and the house was otherwise fully stocked. The only negative was the road noise from the highway but there were sound machines in every room and sleeping with ear plugs made for a great night sleep.
