Lazy G Cabin #4 Creeks Edge

A gorgeous cabin located on the property of the Lazy G Wedding Chapel and Cabin Rental venue. The property is a 1200 acre farm with two caves, a covered bridge, lodge, outdoor fire place (communal), and patio area. Lazy G Creek's Edge Cabin #4- king bed, Jacuzzi tub, shower, full kitchen, and sitting area with full size sofa. A creek runs behind the cabin. All rooms have a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. Charcoal grill is provided. Charcoal not provided.

Directions:

Once on Greenbriar Cove Road follow the scenic route down a mountain. Once to the bottom of the mountain proceed with caution as there are two white dogs that love laying in the road. Proceed past the green shop on your left and around the curve.

You will see a white wedding chapel sign on your right and the Lazy G rock entrance on your left. Turn left, and follow this scenic drive approximately 1.5 miles to the back of the property. You will pass Courteney’s Cave and the Buffalo Rock on your left.

Continue straight, you will then pass Long Neck cabin on your right, Wilson cabin on your left, and the covered bridge on your right.

Cabin 3 “Creek Side” is on the right immediately past the covered bridge. Followed by cabin 4 “Creeks Edge” and the duplex cabins 5&6/7&8. Just past the duplex cabins you will see the little red school house.

**If you rented cabin 9 “the butternut” you will take a right just before the red school house and follow that drive past the sawmill, caretakers facilities and barn. Your cabin is on the hill on the left. **

Otherwise, continue straight past the red school house and barn with the fire truck. Drive onto the concrete, past the garage with the gulf sign, past the office, up the hill to the lodge. The Bridal (#2) and Honeymoon (#1) Suites are on the left side of the lodge. Park anywhere near the old cabin on the left. Then follow the concrete walkway behind the outdoor fireplace past the fountain and up the stairs, just past the pavilion go up onto the deck to your right. The Bridal suite is on the left and the Honeymoon suite on the right. The two are separated by an 8” wall. Enjoy your stay.

beautiful restful getaway

the property is beautiful, the chapel is one of the nicest ive been in, the cabin was comfortable and Best of all there is zero cell service. you can actually relax and enjoy time away.

Peaceful Get Away

Holiday Stay

Quiet, secluded, off the beaten path gem. The cabin was clean, cute and comfortable with everything we needed. Visiting family in South Huntsville, with our dogs. This gave us a great escape when family got to be too much. The dogs loved the walks around the grounds.

Paradise = Cows

Experience a working farm, in an absolutely gorgeous valley, in a cozy cabin. Quiet, no city lights or sounds, just the moon, the a.m. birds, and yes, the cows ........ I could go on and on even though my elderly Mother and I only stayed one night. I will definitely be back. Gracious hosts allowed an early check-in to accommodate my Mother - thanks to Melinda and Tommy for making what might be her last trip, albeit a short one, so memorable.

Loved our stay!

Property was very clean, bed was comfy, adequately stocked for our weekend getaway. Not too far from town, very quiet, and loved watching the cows graze the fields. Would definitely stay again!

Great Getaway

Beautiful place

We arrived very late and had a minor problem checking in, but Melinda got everything sorted out for us quickly! We were visiting an ill friend about 45 minutes away, and spent most of our time there. But we really loved the property, and its location, and will book there again when we visit our friend again. We look forward to having more time to explore the Lazy G!

Scenic retreat

Our cabin #4 on Tommy’s Lazy G was everything we needed for a weekend get away. The cabin was especially clean and adequately stocked. We did turn off the air conditioner at night because it was too noisy for this light sleeper. The unit both heats and cools. The bed is extremely comfortable. The cabin sits on a steam and the flowing steam and bird song makes for a very pleasant morning cup of coffee on the back porch.

Beautiful getaway <3

This is the coziest, middle of nowhere, most relaxing place I've ever stayed. The scenery is amazing, the cabin was amazing, and the owner answered both phone calls to answer my checkin and checkout questions. This IS a wedding/honeymoon retreat environment and I didn't know that going into my first date with someone, but it was so amazing and quiet. There's an orange and white cat that befriended us that my date named Creamsicle. He was friendly and knows how to clean a plate. The creek is relaxing, couch is comfy, beds are comfy. I could keep going. Just book it. It's a beautiful weekend getaway.

27th anniversary trip
