Regarding the pool: the temporary discolouration was caused by a combination of exceptionally heavy rainfall and elevated water temperatures from pool heating (30°C) — conditions that can rapidly affect water chemistry even in well-maintained pools. Raúl responded immediately and carried out an additional cleaning and treatment the same day. The higher chlorine levels applied during this treatment are the most likely explanation for the eye irritation some guests experienced. We took all other reported concerns seriously, and all were addressed on the first day. Following your visit, we also engaged a professional pest control company — a service we will now maintain annually. Regarding your direct booking: our listing clearly states that events and parties are not permitted. A pre-wedding celebration falls under this policy, and we would have appreciated being consulted in advance. This is not a personal accusation — it is a standard policy that applies to all guests equally. We are also glad we were able to offer an early check-in especially arranged for your group, and that we waived the pool heating fee. We remain committed to the property and to every guest having a positive experience, as the steps taken after your visit reflect. We wish you and your group all the best.

Thank you for staying with us with four friends, for the compliments in your review, and for giving me the opportunity to address some of your points. In addition to the many photos, we also publish photos of the floor plans on the rental websites, but I will certainly pass your compliment on to my photographer. We have many positive reviews from guests staying with ten adults. They are all very satisfied and don't share your concerns. The downstairs toilet is indeed small. It's a small sacrifice for the double showers in the bathroom behind, our Love Showers. As you mentioned, there are two more spacious toilets on the top floor. A welcome pack isn't easy with all the dietary requirements and allergies these days. I agree that we should provide water, so we have an American-style fridge with unlimited cold, filtered water, available 24/7. The villa is beautifully situated in a new residential area with a park at the back. All amenities, such as shops, restaurants, and beaches, are within a 15-minute walk, but not right on the doorstep. This contributes to the privacy and tranquility that most of our guests appreciate. Beautiful views are often found in hilly or mountainous areas. This area is known for its flat landscape, making it easy to get around on foot or by bike. A car is always useful, but we have a handcart for transporting your groceries, or you can hire an affordable taxi to do your shopping. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to share the experiences of our guests over the past 10 years.
