Life on the Bay Get-Away is located in the heart of Sandusky in Chesapeake Lofts. Steps away from jumping on the Jet Express Ferry to the Islands, minute walk to marinas, little shops, bars, and restaurants. Hop in the car and head a few miles to Cedar Point. Prime location for all the fun Sandusky has to offer!
Unit is tastefully decorated, fully equipped kitchen, complimentary bottle water, coffee, tea, pool and bath towels, fresh linens for queen bed and queen air mattress.
Walk out patio to sit back and relax while enjoying your morning coffee over looking the pool and marina.

Mixed building use-please be courteous of neighbors with noise. *no pets *no smoking. No parties/events will be tolerated-quiet time 10 pm-8 am. Children Welcome! Min age renter 21

We absolutely love downtown Sandusky! This is our seventh year in a row for our vacation. Deanna is our favorite host. We love her place and we love her. She goes the extra mile in everything she does.

Close to everything

We loved the condo. The pool and hot tub were great to have on location. We loved that the condo was so close to the Jet Express. And everyone we met at Chesapeake Lofts were so nice. Thank you again. We’d love to rent the condo again someday.

Great getaway on the bay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sandusky. The condo was super-clean and very well stocked. The Chesapeake Lofts are centrally located to several restaurants and shops within walking distance. You can't beat the Lake Erie views within a few steps from the condo. We loved watching the sunset each evening. We will certainly be back and would recommend this condo to friends.

Great accomodations with an awesome location!

This property is absolutely beautiful! I have been planning this trip since 2017. My Birthday is April 10th and there was an eclipse on the 8th. Sitting in the little side yard area and just watching this with my family who came to visit for the day was great. Thanks for the coffee that was available too!

Great condo in downtown Sandusky

This condo is on the water in downtown Sandusky and within walking distance of many restaurants. It was very comfortably furnished and had a well appointed kitchen. The gift bottle of wine was a nice touch, as were the soaps and toilet articles. We had occasion to speak to the owner about a few question and got a prompt and helpful response. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend.

Amazing stay

The condo was absolutely amazing! It was so clean, great location and had everything we needed and more! All of the little things that were done for us made it that much more special. Extra towels and sunblock were perfect as we were at a baseball tournament. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies and candy as well! Deanna was amazing and answered any emails from us within minutes. We would definitely stay here again! It was PERFECT! Thank you Deanna!

Lake front getaway

The condo was very well kept and had great amenities. We were anticipating a lake view from the unit as shown in photos at booking, but full lake facing units were on other side of complex. Only real negative we had was thej continual smell of marijiana as soon as entering building and in entirety of hallway to unit. Condo itself was not affected, neighbors were quiet and friendly. Great industrial vibe to unit and very comfortable space! Thanks to the owners for opening up your space to others!

We had a great family vacation week here! The location was perfect for us and gave us much access to everything we needed. I've never rented a vacation spot as well stocked as this unit! There was much more in the way of kitchen stuff than I would have ever expected. The air mattress bed was great fun for the kiddos and sleeping in a bedroom without windows afforded awesome rest! Ha! :) Deanna was quick to reply and I had a seamless experience.

Weekend Stop in Sandusky

Fantastic location on the lake a very short walk from all of the bars, restaurants and shops downtown. About a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point. We were traveling with our teenage daughter. The loft was the perfect space for three people. The double sinks in the bathroom helped get all of us through the bathroom efficiently. There were plenty of towels. I didn’t see a hairdryer, but when I didn’t find one in the obvious places I stopped looking. There might have been one somewhere. Nice workout room with treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, weights and a Concept 2 rower. The loft is impeccably clean. I do yoga every day so I get really close to the floor and get some interesting views underneath things that most people would never see, so I can say this place is really clean. This was probably the quietest place I have ever stayed. No noise from above, the hallway or the adjacent units. There is even a coin operated laundry room down the hallway from the unit. Very spacious living area and everything you need in a kitchen. We loved it!

Beautiful condo

We had an amazing stay from beginning to end and that included our Check in process! I inadvertently scheduled the wrong week and Deanna and her husband were so kind to accommodate us a week early and get the condo ready on very short notice! The condo was very well appointed she had lots of little extras that other condos at Chesapeake lofts do not provide like coffee, Creamer, sugar for your coffee, shampoo, conditioner, Face wipes for your makeup and lotion. We thoroughly enjoyed and plan to go again

Island hopping port of call

Perfect place for us. Hot tub wasn't in season but what a perfect place to catch the Ferry for two days. Next time we're getting a perch charter. Can't wait to stay there again.

Hello! I am a Local Real Estate Agent with North Bay Realty in Downtown Sandusky 2 blocks away from the Lofts, and mother of 3 boys. My husband and I decided it was time to invest in Chesapeake Lofts 5 years ago because Sandusky is becoming such a desirable place to be!

Why they chose this property

We love our unit! We take pride in cleanliness! We also enjoy giving a few little extras like complimentary bottled water, some sample size toiletries, coffee, and tea. We love our choices in decor, we wanted a relaxing, lake house feel with bright fun colors! The patio was a must for our unit so you can sit back and relax! Hope you enjoy your stay, you won't be disappointed!

I feel the place gives you such an AMAZING feeling the minute you walk in. Everything has been updated and we think it is BEAUTIFUL!! It's cozy, clean, crisp, and offers so many extras that most in the building do not do. It's all about the little details for me that makes our guests feel special!
