This condo has a wonderful view of Waterscape's tropical garden and oasis and a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room opens up to a spacious balcony with outdoor seating. This beautiful home was freshly painted in 2018 with coastal colors and has warm brown and blue tones. The entire unit contains beautifully tiled floors throughout. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. There is a quaint round dining table with seating for four in the breakfast nook. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed; a wall mounted 55' 4K HD SMART TV & DVD player, as well as a set of bunks to allow for flexible and additional accommodations. The primary bedroom features a king bed with a plush new mattress set, private bath, wall mounted TV, DVD player, and spacious closet. This lovely home also offers an additional full bath with a stand-up shower and a washer/dryer off of the kitchen.

Birthday vacation

The Waterscape Resort was a perfect place to get away for a November birthday celebration. The amenities were great with various pools, including a heated pool and a lazy river. The gym had everything needed to get a great workout. The beach access was great too. Price was very reasonable being off season. Will definitely book this resort again.

Some things left to be desired

First—everything was clean. The condo itself a little dated, but still great and the bunk beds would be fun for kids if they’re old enough. The water pressure was great, however we ran into some maintenance issues, that if we spent more time in the unit would have lead me to put three stars instead of four. Issue one was with the microwave—just didn’t heat up anything; don’t know if there was an issue with power level settings or not but stick with the stove for a quick boil of water. Issue two was with the washer/dryer. Nice that they’re there, but they’re old and very loud. Issue with the dryer as well, didn’t seem to heat up and dry very well. High heat setting might as well have been tumble dry, which sure isn’t an issue if you don’t plan on doing laundry but loads took a while because of this alone. Lastly, there was a leak coming supposedly from the unit upstairs, but that wasn’t an issue with this unit per se. Still, having to discover the leak on vacation was a new one. All in all, experience wasn’t bad—summertime in FL you don’t spend a ton of time indoors and the amenities like the pool and beach were thoroughly enjoyed, and the location gets you close to local attractions provided you plan on braving traffic, or at least a quick walk across the street for food!
