Perfect for that leave it all behind feeling, this luxury glamping site overlooks the picturesque Maraetotara river and feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern living.
The campsite consists of a beautifully decorated luxury tent, cleverly designed camp kitchen and a large deck offering elevated views of the surrounding environment. A luxurious outdoor shower and bath over looking a forest of poplar tress, complete what is a truly unique outdoor experience.
This is glamping of the very best kind. Perfect for couples looking for a peaceful and private escape, you'll enjoy relaxing in your super king-sized bed listening to the sounds of nature... The beautiful river running by, the light breeze rustling the leaves of the trees, and the gorgeous sound of birdlife. Tui's, Bellbird's and Kereru abound, not to mention the resident Pheasant Phillip.
During the day, it's easy to jump in the car and head out to explore the region - World class wineries including mutli award wining Elephant Hill are near by, and if you feel like city buzz, Napier and Hastings and Havelock North with their shops and cafes are only a short 15 minute drive away. Otherwise, just take the time and relax. Enjoy a dip in the swimming hole, a walk or cycle on one of the many tacks in the area and at the end of the day - star gazing to your hearts content in a hot steaming outdoor bathtub.
