The Space:

**IMPORTANT: THIS IS BY NO MEANS A PARTY HOME. THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND THERE ARE NEIGHBORS WHOSE SPACE AND PEACE OF MIND NEED TO BE RESPECTED - THE QUIET HOURS MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE ONLY RESERVE THE UNIT IF YOU ARE A QUIET GROUP**



Casa Azola II is a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment on the second floor in the heart of Condado. The best part? You can walk everywhere! Enjoy top restaurants, bars, beaches, supermarkets, and even a hospital just blocks away. The apartment features a compact yet fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, a balcony, and a shared outdoor patio. Casa Azola II offers the perfect spot for a memorable stay!



This charming property is part of a traditional casa comprised of two units—Casa Azola I on the first floor and Casa Azola II on the second—each with its own private entrance and the same layout and bedding arrangement. If you're interested in renting both units, please contact us.



DECORATION NOTE: We have been doing upgrades to the listing in between reservations. Recent updates include new mirrors in both the living room and bedroom, fresh decor in the living room with a new rug, coffee table, and decorative cushions, as well as new decorative cushions and throws in the bedrooms. Additionally, the nightstands and wardrobes in the bedrooms have been replaced with brand-new pieces.

PLEASE NOTE: SECURITY CAMERAS ARE INSTALLED IN THE OUTDOOR COMMON AREAS FOR SAFETY.





LIVING AREA



Step into a stylish, mid-century-inspired living space with a comfortable sofa, reading chair, air conditioning throughout, Wi-Fi, and a 50” HDTV. A private guest bathroom is also available with towels and toiletries. The apartment’s original Spanish tile flooring adds a unique touch, creating a warm ambiance.

Second Bedroom:

All bedrooms come with fresh linens and have air conditioning for your comfort.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN



The compact, modern kitchen is fully equipped with white cabinets and quartz countertops. It includes a full-size fridge, microwave, stovetop, toaster, coffee maker, and all the essentials for cooking.





SHARED OUTDOOR PATIO



Enjoy a peaceful terrace with outdoor seating, a shared space with the first-floor unit, also managed by West Indies. It’s perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or unwinding with your loved ones.





GETTING AROUND



We recommend using Uber for transportation.



The property **DOES NOT** offer parking, but you will find that Uber or walking will provide convenient access to all the nearby attractions.





LOCATION



Casa Azola II is located in Condado, a prime location in San Juan. The beach is just a 5-10 minute walk away, and everything you need—restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops—is within walking distance. You won’t need a rental car; Uber is a great option. The apartment is about 10 minutes from the airport.



Here are some things to do in the area:



Beach Day: Relax on one of Puerto Rico’s best beaches with the provided beach chairs, towels, and a cooler.



La Placita de Santurce: A lively market with over 20 restaurants and nightlife spots—try Santaella for a modern take on Puerto Rican cuisine.



Calle Loíza: Explore this trendy street with funky shops and great dining. Start with a margarita at Acapulco and try Sabrina or Azucena for elevated local food.



El Yunque Rainforest: A 40-minute drive will take you to the only rainforest under U.S. management. We can help arrange tours.



Old San Juan: Just 10 minutes away by Uber, explore the oldest city in the U.S., filled with history, great food, and shopping.



Other Things to Note:

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Great location and comfortable

Casa Azola II was great for our 5 nights in San Juan, we mostly explored Santurce and the beach areas, walking as far as Condado Beach and Ocean Park and other neighborhoods. Plenty to see and eat and do within walking distance but also easy to get Uber or other transportation if exploring farther. We were always happy to return to Casa Azola to rest and enjoy the a/c and maybe catch up on Netflix. We enjoyed our stay!

Bel appartement bien situé

L'emplacement est idéal dans une rue paisible et coquette. La terrasse est agréable. La climatisation dans une des chambres donne directement sur la tête de lit, ce qui n'est pas l'idéal. Le nombre de table, de chaise et d'ustensiles est insuffisant pour 6 personnes. Globalement, un bel appartement que nous recommandons.
