This property feels like home away from home for us. We acclimated to the space quickly and our group all slept comfortably!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
There were wasps flying all around the house, there was someone else's dirty clothes in a cabinet in one of the upstairs bedrooms, the downstairs shower was nice but ran out of hot water in about 3 minutes, we had to clean the leaves out of the fire pit before we could use it. Not a very welcoming experience.
Our family (Grandparents, parents, and two teens) had a wonderful three-day stay at this lovely home. We enjoyed the restful, peaceful, pastoral setting, and the comfort of a fully furnished, warm and friendly home. We found you on HomeAway--Thank You! We had a great time, enjoyed your home and space, and would love to visit again in the winter. I'm sure it is lovely in the snow.

Canyon Hill Cabin Visit
We stayed here for three nights and loved every minute. This home aways from home accommodated our group of 6 (grandparents, parents, and 14 & 12 year old grandchildren). The interior is lovely, well furnished for cozy conversations, great sleep, easy meal preparation, and just plain relaxing. The outdoors is beautiful, away from everything but easy to get to, and a great place to take walks, just hang out. Thank you for sharing!

roomy and comfy
Loved the location! It was so peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle and had so many of the comforts of home and more! Plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, wine glasses and opener, toaster, even a blender, and so much more! Three generations spent three wonderful days there. Enjoyed coffee and cards on the deck every morning, with wine and cards every evening! I will certainly come back again! If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, (not perfect, it has a few meaningless quirks! Not for the types that want 5 star luxury accommodations or for individuals with OCD.. LOL! ) rustic and peaceful, this is the place !!! Thanks!

Good Property that Needs Some Attention
The property itself, especially the upstairs of the main house is very cute. What it's missing are the amenities that should accompany any property that charges rates in this range. The kitchen dishwasher wasn't working, nor was the coffee pot or the gas oven. With 9 people staying, we planned to use the kitchen to avoid eating out for all meals. This was very inconvenient We did use the stack washer and dryer but had to use bleach to clean mold from the washer. The living room is spacious and offers a couch and love seat and a recliner The recliner couldn't be used because the back is broken and falls down. There is internet wi fi but No cell service. The one Tv had wi fi channels like Netflix but we were told after checking in that the Dish was not connected. No explanation given and we couldn't take our kids in to town to watch at a bar so missed the NBA finals. Beds are ok but pillows need replacing as they are flat as pan cakes. Beautiful porch but old dirty chair cushions no one would sit on. Bottom line: it's time to invest some rent money and bring the basics up to an acceptable level. Also provide solar lighting on rock pathway to bunkhouse for safety and maybe a couple of flash lights. Grills are charcoal so plan to buy and bring matches. Bunk house good for kids with ladder access to four singles with low ceiling. Cute decor. No bedding provided

This rating is hard to read. Constructively, I have noted solar lights and have added those to the step areas. In regards to the broken items. The recliner was not broken upon check-in; however, it was broken in half after check-out. The dishwasher and W/D work fine but you are correct about the oven. Upon check out, we also found that something was spilled on the bottom of the oven to the point that it impacted the propane line. That too has been a cost to us.
We were very accommodating to these guests to the point that they toured prior to ever reserving. I find it amusing that the bunk house is mentioned, especially since the fee was waived and the reservation only stated 2 guests.
Sadly, we were taken advantage of in this situation but know that most guests are not this way. Other constructive feedback to note is that cell service is limited and that the cabin does not include cable. We provide wifi, netflix and a wall mounted phone. We open our home for people to get away and enjoy nature. The cabin sits on 30 acres of woods and is great for exploring....so I ask you to not watch tv for a weekend and go visit a 75 foot waterwall or swim in the Arbuckles.

Not a good stay for my family.
We were very disappointed with this rental. Had to endure the smell of a dead mouse in the kitchen area the whole stay. I understand that things happen. I notified them and said we would deal with it and I got no response at all. No im sorry or do you need air fresher, nothing at all. The bedroom downstairs has no AC and only a lamp for lighting however the shower was great. The bedroom by the kitchen was hot from cooking dinner every evening so we had to go buy 2 fans to help cool off. There was only 1 upstairs bathroom and it was between 2 bedrooms which would have been fine if the doors locked. The handles were both loose and about to fall off and couldn't lock one of them. The interior was ok with a nice living room but the outside had not been taken care of. It was only partially mowed, and an old rusty bent up grill grate was laying outside front door. With the price of rentals and fees I just expect better.
Really a cool place to stay. My group liked how big the living area was. The game cabin was a fun place to hangout to play pool and darts. The only thing that might be beneficial is to add a chalkboard near the dart board so that score can be kept. I downloaded an app that kept score so not really an issue, just a thought. Beds were comfortable and we loved the rainfall shower that is downstairs. No cell service but the wifi worked great.
We had a great time. Cabin was in good condition and clean.
Cell service mainly on front porch made it tough to communicate.
Would definitely recommend to others.
We were looking for a place secluded where we could just get away and enjoy some family time. We got that and much more. The property is adjacent to a mountain. We saw all kinds of critters. From a box turtle to a deer! Definitely enjoyed!
Pics are outdated some and details don’t match exactly with what exists. I tried to communicate but still received conflicting info.
All in all it was fine. We loved the home and space. It was great for people coming and going and for kids running and playing.
It would be helpful to have outdoor cans chained down as raccoons tore through our trash bags each night.
This was a perfect place for our family to gather this year. The property was secluded and peaceful. Our family loved the separated game room with the pool table and darts.
This is our second time at this property and we enjoyed both visits. It is located in a rural area which is very quiet and in-between Sulfur and Turner Falls. The down side is it is a bit of a drive to either one of these locations but doable.
The cabin is very clean and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The game room was a plus and we spent several hours playing pool and darts. There is a nice fire pit and there was even some firewood available.
It suited ours needs very well. The only thing it really needed was a good window washing on the windows in the house and in the game room. Otherwise a wonderful stay. I recommend it!
We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much for allowing me & my family to enjoy your family home🏚really peaceful. Kids could run & play and make all the noise they wanted😂....we seen a traveling turtle 🐢 outside lower bedroom. Kids enjoyed that.
