The cabin was secluded in a quiet location in the woods near the lake. It was a great place to disconnect from the world and enjoy some peace and quiet, the cool of the fall (and with a small snow storm), and to be with family. Thank you for having the cabin clean and ready for us. We had a great time.

The property was not clean when we arrived and even after it was cleaned there were cobwebs ell around. we had to purchase our own trash bags, dishwasher soap, and paper towels. When we attempted to use the BBQ both propane tanks were empty. I have submitted a formal complaint and am waiting for a response from Matthew.
The cabin is beautiful and I can imagine that the owners are great people as they Kept their cabin clean and well maintained. However, the listing company is terrible. We arrived at the cabin at 7:45 PM without instructions. When I used the VRBO app to communicate with the owners, I was told by the listing/management company that I didn’t pay for the reservation even though there is a hold on my credit card. Mind you, I made the reservation a week in advance, they could have contacted me way ahead of check-in time to notify me of the credit card issue. Regardless, I paid over the phone and I was given the instructions. As soon as I made the payment, I received the instructions. Come to find out that I would have to bring my own propane tank to use the grill, and I would have to take the trash to the nearest garbage dumping location. We had to drive with trash bags on our laps. Again, the cabin is great but the management company is terrible. There needs to be more communication between VRBO, the management company, and the owners.
