Loved staying at Kookaburras. The premises were exactly like the photos and felt luxurious with a country feel. Everything we could possibly want was on hand, even a hairdryer, shampoo, condioner and body wash. It was very cold when we arrived but we soon warmed up with the log burner and at times the airconditioner. The bed was comfortable and we were surprised how warm the quilt was. This was a wonderful place in which to have a well deserved break. We thoroughly recommend this Stayz home and look forward when we can do it again. Bravo, well done!

About the host
Hosted by Kirsty
We are passionate about the Springbrook area and all its natural beauty, animals, birds and plants. We love bushwalking and we believe this is the most beautiful Rainforest in Australia. It is also an extremely precious closed eco environment, so please do not feed the animals and upset their balanced natural system.
Why they chose this property
Our home is a sanctuary in nature with clean air and water and peace, away from the stresses of city living. The National Park is a rare gem, with all the rainforest and its animal life at your doorstep. Springbrook has more varied species of plants and animals than any other place in Australia.
What makes this property unique
Our home is only steps from the Unesco World Heritage listed National Park, one of the most famous walks, and a short drive to any of the other famous walks and sights. The most incredible Waterfalls in Australia, beautiful rainforest with mosses and scenery like a movie set, glow worms cave and tiny bat cave, lookouts, famous trees from Gondwana times, cafes and food stalls, local Sunday market, fireplace and firepit for your joy and relaxation, and lots of light and greenery reflected indoors to our huge living room where you can retreat if it rains.
There are also many other interesting activities within a half hour drive from our home and I can give you local recommendations, from wineries, to great views etc.
