Does a cozy 3 bedroom vacation rental with its own 17' shallow lounge pool that's walking distance to Limetree Beach, Lanaii restaurant, and has a pickleball court, sound like your ideal vacation rental? Well, hi there! Welcome to Villa Hygge (hoo-gah)! We are conveniently located between Red Hook and Havensite, for restaurants and shopping. You are only 15 minutes to the St. John ferry and beautiful east end beaches. Villa Hygge is your cozy retreat on St. Thomas with all the amenities!

What is hygge (hoo-gah)? It’s that warm, content feeling you get from cozy spaces, good company, and a slower pace, and Villa Hygge delivers just that.

This thoughtfully designed villa strikes the perfect balance: open and airy without feeling stark, comfortable without sacrificing style. It's your laid-back home base for island adventures.

Limetree Beach is just a 5-minute stroll away, with a waterfront restaurant that’s ideal for sunset dinners and no-effort nights out. Want to beach hop or head to St. John? You’re perfectly positioned between Red Hook and Havensight, with the ferry just 15 minutes away.

Couple things to note:
**Please note, there is no generator at this property. When power goes out on the island, the property will not have power or water until it is restored.

**The only water feature at the property is a pool. It is not spa or a hot tub. It’s a shallow lounge pool for relaxing and cooling down.

We could all use a little hygge, and this is where you’ll find it.

Nice time at Villa Hygge.

The house was clean and updated. Great location in front of the Lime tree resort. Loved restaurant Lanai and the pool bar at resort. Easy access and people were friendly and kind.Kristine, property manager was very quick to respond and helpful. Thank you.We rented a car and saw the entire island, it was great!

Posh hideaway in paradise

Sit by the pool and watch the sun set over the mountain. Nothing to worry about here as you at 20 minutes from everything and worlds away from tourists. Perfect place to relax and worry about nothing.

Amazing New House to Relax and getaway!

Our family of 6 loved this house to escape to, even on the island, getting away from the busy tourist and cruise ship locations. New house, super nice kitchen and bathrooms, good AC to refresh from the hot weather. The spa pool got up to 88 during the day and was refreshing at night. All 4 kids (ages 3 to 16) enjoyed playing in the pool, and the size helped warm it up quickly. The dryer was broken when we arrived, which was a small issue as we packed minimally, planning to wash and dry. We requested a drying rack and Kristen promptly found one the same day. This worked perfectly for the rest of the trip. Kristen did volunteer to pick up and drop off laundry, but hated to inconvenience for our family of 6 laundry trips. We walked to Limetree for some meals, drinks and visiting the beach. We did a catamaran snorkel tour at VI CAT, which picked up at Marriott, just 7 min away. Coki Beach (nice water and snorkel/fish but junky and busy) and Sapphire (we visited twice) are 15-20 min away. Geckos, big lizards in a nearby tree and some interesting spiders all living OUTSIDE the house, but the inside of house was spotless and clean. Thank you! A neighbor below was just starting to excavate and clear the land our last few days. It was getting loud and a bit smelly outside due to the uprooted vegetation. Maybe a house will be constructed soon. We are so happy to stay at this house and have our own private space. Kristen was great! Highly recommend!

A Beautiful House & Great Location

We loved the house and the area. Very comfortable and the patio was great in the evening. Walked down to the Limetree Resort several times for drinks and dinner. Lanai Restaurant was very nice and the beach was great for sunset.

Loved the pool

we really liked this place. Our daughters loved the pool. The deck is spacious and well furnished. We had a great week here.

Great Flat at St. Thomas.

This place was great. the Host was Wonderful, always wanted to make sure all was going well. She went out of her way to give us ideas to what to do around St. Thomas. the Location was Perfect for us. We brough our two children 4 & 5 Yrs of Age and they Loved it. Would Strongly recommend and consider coming back for sure!!

Picture perfect

The pictures do not even do this place justice. The view was amazing, from Every morning sunrise to every sunset! You can even see the cruise ships coming in. Limetree beach is just a tiny walk away and as a guest you can even dine in at the Lanai’s patio restaurant or the steakhouse with a beautiful view! You cannot hear the roosters from inside the property in the mornings but we would go out and have coffee on the patio and hear them from every which direction which I thought was cute. The landscaping at this property is so well thought out and the smells from the flowers are incredible. The hummingbirds can be seen often. There’s even an iguana you can see that stays on this tree branch right outside the front of the house. Initially it was a little difficult to find. The beds and linens we’re comfortable, the AC was great and the showers were wonderful day or night because you could open the window and vent out the bathroom while listening to the birds outside. The home comes very well stocked with cleaning supplies, first aid kit, beach chairs, mineral sunscreen, laundry needs, steamer, iron and blow dryers. The patio balcony was such a great size to gather as a family, eat and swim. My suggestion: look up Spa To Go VI for a mobile massage right on the balcony! The weather was perfect, the convenience was immeasurable and my husband and I never felt so relaxed. We even got lucky enough to extend a couple of days and the process was soo simple!

Wonderful Stay on St Thomas

My group of 4 had a 10/10 experience staying at this property! It is conveniently located near Charlotte-Amalie and Red Hook. It is a 15-20 min drive to all of the destinations we wanted to visit on the island! Very clean and spacious!

The location of the house is perfect. Close to Havensight and Limetree Beach. The house was comfortable and the perfect size for four adults. The large porch offers many seating options for enjoying dinner, the sunset, or pool. The outdoor lands spring ws beautiful! The carpets really needed a deep cleaning, and the bathrooms lacked shampoo. However, the kitchen was stocked with the basics. I highly recommend.
