Cozy Cottage 1 block from Lake

Cozy vintage cottage near one of Lake Winnipegs famous piers. Our cottage is looking for families who want to make summer memories. Whether reading books in the sunroom or doing puzzles and playing games on a rainy day. Roasting marshmallows over the fire pit or view meteor showers from the pier. There is simply too many things to do to list them all. South facing deck on front of cottage where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Back deck has propane bbq. Steps leading down to fire pit . Bunkie with double bed in backyard. Room for 2 cars to park on gravel drive as well as on street parking.

This cottage was amazing! Beautifully decorated while keeping so much of the original charm. Spotlessly clean. Everything we could possibly need was provided. Kitchen was very well stocked. The host was great to deal with. Only a block from the water (with a wonderful pier). Such a beautiful neighbourhood. Really enjoyed just walking around admiring all the cottages and learning about the history. Just a couple minutes drive to “downtown” with some great stores and restaurants. A number of great beaches close by. We had a wonderful time and hope to go again next year!

Kevin and his group were great guests. Always respectful and communicated well. Most importantly they left the cottage neat and tidy. Look forward to welcoming them back in the future.

Born in Winnipeg and having spent many happy summers on the beaches of Lake Winnipeg and surrounding area, I returned and purchased this cottage where my family has had many happy memories.

Why they chose this property

The proximity to the lake and the swimming pier is a big plus. The community is made for cycling and walking. Venture onto the short historic hiking trail to see many historic cottages and other features.

What makes this property unique

This is a vintage cottage filled with old school charm, but with most of the modern day conveniences of home.
