Musician's East Coast Bungalow - 10 mins to Downtown
Welcome to my coastal/farmhouse-inspired East Coast bungalow, in the heart of Dartmouth. My home is newly renovated with many unique touches, including a 100-year-old grand piano, oversized dining table, and a kitchen with a wall-mounted TV. Located in a friendly residential neighbourhood, you are close to all amenities - just a 5-minute walk to transit and grocery stores. By car, you are 10 minutes to downtown Halifax, and just a few minutes from the highway to get you anywhere in the province. Enjoy the oversized reclaimed-wood dining table, paired with a giant wooden clock. Sit down to play the 100-year-old grand piano, relax on the couch with backs that extend to give you even more room. Enjoy the unique kitchen - customized for gathering - that has a large TV mounted on the wall, viewable from the counter-height stools or the dining table. The house is complete with a back yard including a deck with ample outdoor seating and a BBQ. The front deck is brimming with summer flowers, comfortable seating, and a wooden pergola. Two bedrooms (king, queen), full bath, kitchen, and main living areas are in the upper level. Third bedroom (queen) with half bath ensuite, and second living area with pull-out sofa are in the basement. Guests access the entire main upper level of the home, except for the locked office. On the lower level, you can access the laundry room, living area, 3rd bedroom and en suite. This listing is my 70-year-old home where I live 6+ months each year; it is not a hotel.

I’m so sorry to see your 6/10 rating. I wish I would have had the chance to meet your expectations better, but I didn’t hear any concerns from you during your stay. I aim to provide a comfortable stay for an affordable price, that matches the amenities and photos in the listing. Regretfully, this is my first rating that isn’t 10/10.
In a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to attractions and stores. A nice home base to navigate areas surrounding Halifax. If you want the convenience of a city but without the noise to rest well after exploring the areas, this is a place highly recommended.
