Peaceful & "Pleasant" Lake Retreat on "The Point"

Welcome! Our home is a cozy, stress-free, relaxing, getaway. Our lake is a no-wake zone, so you won't hear any jet skis or motors buzzing, or be dodging water skiers. If you are looking for true peace & quiet in a sparsely populated lake, this gem is the place for you!
This woody hideaway, nestled at the end of Pleasant Lake's peninsula ("The Point"), boasts 270-degree water views, two docks, toys (including kayaks and canoes), a beautiful yard, sandy bottom, crystal-clear water, and great fishing!

The space
Typically, this home is not a rental, but from time to time, a week will be available for a few lucky families to enjoy the grounds of our “Someday Home”. Now, our home is not your typical lake house with a few feet of lake frontage. You get OVER 300 FEET OF WATER FRONTAGE on the east, west, and north sides of "The Point". The bay area leads into a quiet, intimate cove teaming with fish, turtles, water fowl, and the occasional beaver! This is our favorite place to kayak and its a stones throw from you.

The house has very "North Woody" feel--without the extra 4 hour drive. The Great Room/kitchen area opens up to the lake with its many windows and its vaulted ceilings. It is the ideal space for the family to come together & is our favorite room in the house.

The master bedroom is upstairs and the downstairs has the 2nd bedroom and 3rd bedroom we call the "bunkhouse" which is the kids' favorite.

The deck has a great grilling and outdoor eating area, and the west dock has some of the best sunset views on the lake!

45 minutes from Milwaukee and 90 minutes from Chi-town.

End of summer getaway

Had the most wonderful time at the property. House and grounds are perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. The entire family loved it!

Beautiful property

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The house was fully stocked, clean and quaint. The panoramic views of the lake were spectacular. The beds were extremely comfy and all of the amenities were top notch. Thank you again.

A wonderful home in a unique setting.

The home is charming and has everything a family could want. It sits on a small peninsula that is truly exceptional. Right across the channel is a wetlands. Beautiful!

Great vacation!

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation! The cottage was so cozy and very clean with wrap around views of the water. We loved it! The lake is crystal clear and so peaceful. We kayaked, went swimming and watched all the wildlife. We didn’t want to leave. Also, communication with Jamie was easy with fast, friendly response. Thank you Stasny Family for sharing your home!

Can't beat the setting!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful spot on the lake. Fishing, swimming, canoeing were amazing. House is clean, inviting, open and well equipped. Our son and two grandkids joined us for two days...perfect moments! The Point is the most beautifully situated home on the lake. So relaxing! Our hosts could not have been more attentive, responding to any questions immediately. A real treasure!

Stunning lake view!!

Just beautiful. We loved staying cozy, reading books in the oversized leather chair and the sofa that just cradled you. The fireplace made for a soft ambiance at night when we played cards and watched movies. Just what we needed for a wintertime getaway from downtown Chicago. Thank you Jamie and Steve for making us feel so welcome. You have created a special and restorative spot. Appreciate your sharing it with us.

Sublime!

Beautiful property and house. My husband and I spent hours looking at the lake, listening to birds and swimming. We took advantage of a nearby bike path, trout farm and walking in Kettle Morraine.
