Mar Vista Suite of Private Entry,Patio & Spa Bath

Please note: There is only A/C offered from June to September!
Luxurious suite with kitchenette (part of house with private entrance) in Mar Vista walking distance to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, markets, and public transportation. A 10 minute car ride to world-famous Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney, the Venice Canals and Marina del Rey.
Perfect for those who enjoy being surrounded by nature, and appreciate privacy and quietude. Good for traveling couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space
Large, quiet suite with high speed wifi, smart TV, original artwork, and mini kitchenette of small refrigerator (& freezer), microwave, deluxe K-cup coffee system, dishes and flatware. Seating for two.

Travertine Spa bath with double sinks, large shower with wide overhead and handheld spray, and a whirlpool for two.
The bathroom here was designed by me and renovated with ideas from my travels in Europe and Asia where the bath is revered. Not only as a place to cleanse the body, but also to rejuvenate and recharge the spirit and soul, especially after a long day exploring the city. Step out of the bath into a plush terrycloth robe and slippers.
Grab the oversized beach towels and head down the road to our lovely wide- sanded beaches and the roaring Pacific Ocean.

Extra closet and storage space.
Your host in on premise with a big dog, Roji and two young curious cats, Paris and London. You probably won't meet Roji but London and Paris may visit you when you sit outside.
Small private patio.

PLEASE, IF YOU'RE NEW TO VRBO: Before you inquire, have an ID verified profile. Also, If you're traveling with someone, please identify them fully.

Excellent stay near the beach

A wonderful time for spring break, very close to attractions in Venice Beach Boardwalk, and a quiet neighborhood. Excellent interactions with Connie the host, she was highly responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great little place that's a cozy homey alternative to an everyday hotel room. And the jacuzzi style bathtub and huge double shower was fantastic! Great location as well, easy to get anywhere.

The location was perfect for our needs. Safe walkable neighborhood. Comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. Close to Venice, Santa Monica, Culver City and easy access to the 405.

Amazing!

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. The spa-tub is excellent and the place is very close to safe, fun activities during Covid such as the beach, Will Rodgers state park, Topanga national forest, etc. I highly recommend this Vrbo :)

Home away from home

Our stay was amazing. Loved the tub. I also loved how she printed out instructions for everything that I had answers for. She gave us a couple eating places that turned out great. Every time we needed help with something or had any questions she responded back in a timely manner.

Efficiency and convenience

The unit is compact, organized and has lots of storage space for putting away personal belongings. Very clean and pleasant design with no extraneous decor to clutter the space. Spacious bathroom with two sinks is great. Small compact patio for two. No actual kitchen with a sink or counter space but making breakfast or snacks is easy. Friendly host.

Healing retreat from busy days in LA

I am so glad I chose this location. It was a place to recharge and re-energize. Designed to be both artistic and functional, it felt wonderful to stay there. There are closets and drawers everywhere but you don't notice them because they blend into the beauty of the place. Air filter. An excellent water filter. Herbal, green and other teas. The chairs and bed are comfortable! The table is perfect size for working on a laptop with room for munchies, books, ipad, etc. The spa is a joy with live plants in the room. It looks small from the photo, but felt spacious and gracious. LOVED IT. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in LA.

Wonderful LA stay!!

Thank you Connie for a wonderful stay in your warm and well apportioned VRBO. The room was exactly as advertised; lovely bed, great bathroom, wonderful and appreciated robes, coffee, refrig, --everything!! We really loved the privacy and yet in a wonderful, beautiful neighborhood with ample parking . Connie made sure we had privacy, easy entry, and just a pretty environment! We would recommend this space to couples or singles! The amenties are lovely. We will consider this properity when we vist our son again!! Thank you Connie.

Excellent little home base for a trip

This was about as close to being on your own as a shared space rental gets — we scarcely heard anything (outside of the dog barking occasionally, which is fine, it’s a dog, they bark) and the private entrance makes it feel very much like your own space. It’s a small space that you probably won’t spend all day in, but that hardly seems to be the point — it’s a great place to crash at the end of the day and start fresh in the morning. We rented a car so the proximity to Santa Monica was great, plus we were able to comfortably drive to and from Malibu, Santa Barbara, and all over downtown LA. Only tiny complaint would be that the whirlpool is an emphasis on the listing and it never had enough hot water to quite fill it at temperature
 but maybe I just like it too hot. Otherwise great stay with a communicative host and would gladly come back again.
