This renovated 1 story, 2 bedroom, 1 bath is located on a quiet channel in Winneconne. This cottage is located within 5 miles of the Village of Winneconne. Park your boat in front of the cottage on the new sea wall so you may enjoy the views and activities that the Fox-Wolf River System offers. Cottage sleeps eight with 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed (twin up top, full on bottom) and 1 twin with trundle and an air mattress. House has air conditioning, washer/dryer included, full kitchen, small game room located in the garage , TV and internet access. This property is ready for the avid fisherman or family looking to relax and have fun.

A nice place with plenty of amenities. Clean and well decorated. Direct access to the lake from the canal was wonderful.

If you want a relaxing time on the lake this is it. Waking up at dawn, grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting out back catching fish.... even in the rain!!! The kids had a great time kayaking the channel and playing games in the garage. Plus the neighborhood is super peaceful. Great place to get away and relax.

We boated to the home and tied up with ease on their property. The area was peaceful and quiet. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a group of 8 to stay 4 nights! Our crew had 3 adults, 4 children and an infant and we had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves and stay close enough to enjoy each others company. Responsive and flexible hosts!

Cute comfortable cottage

The weather didn't totally cooperate but the cottage is a nice place to unwind. It was great being able to leave the boat in the water and not have to launch everyday. Laundry machines were very handy.

Excellent communication by hosts. We loved our stay and it had personal touch that we hadn’t had before! (We book all of our vacations on vrbo). This place was quiet, comfortable, and in a relaxing setting as well. It had more for us to do than we had time for. My friend and I had our kids in tow (mostly teenage boys) who didn’t want to leave and are already asking to return. I loved the decor and found ideas for modifying my own vrbo. We had everything we needed and all host responses were within minutes before and during our stay. We would definitely do it again!!!

Lovely channel front home with awesome outdoor spaces!!

The outdoor spaces were top notch. A lot of thought (and money) was put into all recreational spaces…Tables and chairs galore. Easy access to Lake Winneconne and the Wolf River system. The inside was very clean and orderly. The owners were attentive and very kind. The TV was large and up to date. We hope to return in the Spring when the Walleye are running!

Cottage on the Channel

Location on the channel was wonderful!! The carpeting is very stained in the living room area and in need of cleaning....The listing also stated that there were 2 bathrooms and there is only 1 full bathroom. The cottage was cleaner when we checked out than when we checked in!

In response to the comments, we can assure all of our guests that we have a strict cleaning policy that does include carpet cleaning, and it is not always going to be up to par with everyone's liking. We spent a lot of money on our outdoor area, and know that everything in the house is not perfect. It is a house and it is meant to be enjoyed and lived in. As far as the 2 bathrooms, yes, that was my fault and I take full responsibility for accidently putting that into the one section. There is only 1 bathroom. One last thing, we would appreciate it if all the décor and furniture stay where it is. This is our property, and not yours to rearrange. Thanks!

I would have to say our stay was even better then we could have imagined. Our family grew up boating in the winnebago area and frequently visited lake winneconne and the fin and feather. The plan for this vacation was to have a place to stay where the boat could be in the water and we could show the grandkids where there parents and grandparents grew up vacationing!! This house made all of that possible from being just a short boat ride to a family favorite restaurant to a last min evening boat ride to catch the sunset!!!! The house was fully stocked and furnished with almost anything you would need!! The attached air conditioned garage/gameroom was awesome, they also had fishing poles for you to use and kayaks they thought of it all!!! If you rent this place seeing the sunset is a must our granddaughter drew a picture of one of the sunsets we got to see!!! Definitely plan to go back.
