Located in Tiahura, in a private and secure residence, Villa Mouaroa can accommodate up to 6 people, transporting you into an elegant Polynesian atmosphere. Its decor is pure and harmonious. It is built of wood and overlooks the valley, its magnificent mountains and part of the lagoon.



The villa comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms on the first floor. There's a master suite with a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and private toilet, and a second bedroom with 2 single beds, both covered by mosquito nets. The mezzanine can be opened to accommodate an extra 2 people in a double bed.



The living area comprises a naturally ventilated lounge with direct access to the terrace and jacuzzi, sofas and a flat-screen Netflix TV, opening onto a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, access the second private, shaded terrace for breakfast.



The terrace is a veritable open-air patio and is fully equipped for convivial moments in 2 areas: the Jacuzzi and its deckchairs and a Fare Potee for relaxing, enjoying your meals... From your perch admire the panoramic view and recharge your batteries in this exceptional environment.



The island of Moorea, or "sister island" as it's known here, is a little slice of paradise, located just 30 minutes by ferry or 20 minutes by plane from the island of Tahiti (17 km), in French Polynesia. Its unspoilt, wild and majestic nature is a must-see. The island's unique scenery is worthy of a movie. Moorea also means yellow (Rea) lizard (Mo'o), and you'll come across this harmless little reptile called "Gecko" regularly.

Stay in Moorea Residents Legends

Nice location around popular attractions, restaurants, stores and beaches. Villa up on a hillside with the chickens. Got to villa during day place looking good but at night we discovered one of the bedrooms air conditioner was not functioning. Reported issue to property management, they responded next day and sent person to check the AC. They claim it was working but went we got back to villa the AC was still not working. Contacted property management again , they replied the next day saying they checked the AC and said all was good. That night AC was still not working, once again contacted property management, reply was send professional to check tomorrow. Finally after the third day without AC the professional determined the AC compressor was broken and needed to be replace, which would not happen for a few more days. To sum it up, spent four nights in 80 degree heat with no air conditioning in one bedroom. Not a very comfortable stay. Don’t understand how they would let new guest come to the villa when the AC was not working from the start.

Belle villa avec tout le nécessaire ( clim, ventilo, terrasse, cuisine...) dans un écrin de verdure et très bien située. Disponibilité du personel pendant tout le weekend très appréciable : un grand merci à eux. Piscine commune, terrain de tennis (raquettes disponibles), salle de fitness à disposition. Weekend très reposant. La salle de sport est un peu vieillote
