Oh my goodness! We had such a wonderful stay at Orama Lodge. The room was clean, had a small kitchen and a comfortable bed. The hosts were truly lovely! They were kind and gracious. We would definitely recommend staying on the property.

Regina and Alain were exceptional hosts. Same goes for their daughter that handled some of the communication. The accommodation was spotless clean and smelled amazing. We also got all the tips we needed from Regina and Alain, who gave us a very warm welcome on top of that.

Bora Bora getaway

Regina was a great host and very helpful during our brief stay. We stayed in the studio, which was spacious and tastefully decorated. A nice change of pace from your typical hotel accommodations.

Very nice property

The property has been done by Alain, a Master Artisan. It has everything you need for your stay. Alain & Regina are very friendly and eager to make your stay the best. They can help you book anything if needed. A very refreshing stay at the Orama lodge.

Best Bora Bora stay ever!

The lodge is perfect. Our hosts were amazing and so very kind. My partner and I could not have found a better place to stay while on Bora Bora. When we come back(because we absolutely HAVE to come back) ) we will definitely be staying here again.

Let’s start with the fact that we have stayed in many VRBO’s in many countries, this is a family welcoming you to their island. The owners Alain and Regina are very proud of their home and want you to be comfortable.. Alain built his house and the bungalows with his own hands. He is a craftsman. They gave us a tip to see the Polynesian show at the yacht club and Regina gave us some of her banana bread. Alain also showed us where we could easily access the Manta Ray cleaning station, nearby. We went several times to swim with the Manta’s. This is a cute studio with everything you need. The bungalow has air and a washer. Highly recommend this home away from home.

Regina & Alain are wonderful! We loved Orama Lodge and truly believe that having hosts like them make traveling what it is - an absolute pleasure. We cherished our times in Bora Bora from being greeted with a lay to leaving with a shell necklace and the many moments in between - we miss it there!

Couldn’t have been better!

Our stay was just perfect! The Lodge was super clean and super comfortable. We wanted a cozy place and that’s exactly what we had. Our Hosts Regina and Alain are incredibly generous with their time and hospitality. In fact we were able to join them for a traditional Tahitian dinner of poisson cru. If you are looking for a romantic get away, I recommend Orama Lodge and its hosts, Regina and Alain.

An amazing property with phenomenal hosts!

I have gone to lots of places, and I’ve stayed in lots of properties, but this particular one, I have to say, was magical. It is the cleanest and most serene. The energy was excellent throughout the property and cottage, and the owners of this property made everything that much more magical. I give this listening 10 stars! Truly a fantastic place to stay.

Felt like home in paradise.

Regine and Alain are amazing and gracious hosts. We were treated like family. The house is comfortable, beautiful, and cozy. Had everything we needed. Regine also helped recommend great outings. Best part? We could watch amazing sunsets outside the window. We enjoyed the stay tremendously!

The owners of the lodge are the most amazing people I met in a long time! They are so warm and lovely. Will help you with every thing you need. The lodge it self looks amazing from the inside almost everything made out of wood (which the owner built by him self).

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and full of beautiful arts and crafts of a local nature. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts provided coffee and tea with the accomodation and were very helpful and considerate. Alain is a master carpenter and his work is truly beautiful. Every possible amenity was provided. A great memorable stay with exceptional hosts.

Little peace of heaven in Bora Bora

From the advance welcome email to the actual greeting at the door, these hosts are amazing (Alain & Regina). They were the first one's who greeted us with a lei (flower garland) !! Everything inside the room seems brand new. Nice snorkeling spot just in front. Thanks to Alain and Regina for making our stay on Bora Bora so wonderful.

The best of Bora Bora

The best hosts and lodging in Bora Bora. First, the communication was easy and prompt and full of rich explanation and directions. Second, the bungalow was so cute and had everything we needed - great bed, kitchen, bathroom and more. Lastly, the hosts!!! So lovely! They welcomed us warmly with fresh fruit and had many suggestions for us which all turned out to be fabulous. A great stay and highly recommend. And new friends.

An awesome stay at Orama Lodge in Bora Bora, a lovely cottage nestled by the seaside! The cottage studio was beautifully handcrafted by Alain which added to a wonderful ambiance. Our hosts, Regina & Alain were so gracious & hospitable, and went above & beyond as hosts: they even gifted us with a lovely New Year Eve basket of gourmet treats so we can enjoy it in celebration! We truly enjoyed our conversations with our hosts! Our stay was so enchanting and lovely. With Gratitude.

Wonderful location and stay

From the start of our visit Regina and Ailan were wonderful hosts. They knew our arrival was going to be after dark and they waited outside with the lantern so we knew which building was the Orama Lodge. After two weeks of traveling through the islands this was a wonderful location with the amenities of home. They have a washer so that we’re able to wash our clothing and a fully outfitted kitchen where we were able to cook our own breakfast and make lunch. We would highly recommend this location for anyone wishing to stay on the main island of Bora Bora. As we write this review, we are currently at the Conrad Bora Bora, which is truly a different experience but to get the flavor Polynesia it is important to stay at a locally owned establishment on the main island of Bora Bora.
