Large Charming House with Swimming Pool

Enjoy the natural beauty of the “Provence Verte” countryside when staying at this idyllic and recently refurbished house, located 10 minutes away by foot from the centre of Cotignac.
From the pool and the garden enjoy the spectacular view of the olive trees, the cliffs and hillside surroundings. This family-owned property is the perfect sanctuary from which to explore some of the most beautiful villages, vineyards, and countless trails in Provence.

The villa offers a large private living space for 10/12 guests with a large swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and breath-taking view of the surroundings.

The house’s layout is as follows:
Ground floor:
• Spacious and fully equipped open kitchen* close to a shaded terrace with a large dining table overlooking the swimming pool
• Large living room with beams opening on a cosy reading study with stunning views
• One Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and AC
• One double bedroom with private access to the garden and a smaller en-suite bathroom with shower and AC
• Two separate WC
• A laundry room washing machine, a wash-handbasin, an iron board and iron

First floor:
• Long landing with bookshelves offering a wide variety of adults and children’ books both in French and English
• One separate WC
• One bathroom with a bathtub
• One double bedroom
• One twin bedroom, more suitable for children
• One large bedroom with a double bed and a convertible sofa


Outdoors:

There is a barbecue and pizza oven area. A shaded car space (the access to the garage is restricted).

The large pool (12 x 4m) is protected with an electric shutter and is heated in June and September. Lounge chairs may be displayed around the pool under shaded sails or under the sun. There is also an outdoor shower. Night lights inside and around the pool allow you to enjoy evening swims.
Please note the shutter must be closed at night- and every-time guests are not around the pool, for security reasons. Parents with toddlers should be extra careful not to leave their child unattended by the pool.
Guests may also enjoy playing table tennis, badminton or the famous regional petanque.

We provide bed linen, bath towels and pool towels (foutas) for 12 guests maximum, once per stay.

Wifi is provided through the entire house.

Our team will welcome you at check-in and take care of the maintenance of the pool during your stay. Departure is at 10am in order to let the cleaning team operate effectively.

*In the kitchen you will find an American fridge, a dish washer, an electric oven, a Lacanche gas piano, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer, a blender, some kitchen knives, pots and pans, etc.

The property is 10 minutes away by foot from the centre of the village of Cotignac via a small and tranquil path, which makes it very convenient for busy market days and in the evening when you don’t have to worry about driving back home from the restaurant.

Cotignac is a very lively village, right in the centre of Provence, one hour drive from the beaches (Ste Maxime, St Tropez, Presqu’ile de Gien), from Aix-en-Provence, and less than an hour from Gorges du Verdon (Lac de Quinson, Lac de Ste Croix). Art and wine lovers will be happy to visit Abbaye du Thoronet, Commanderie de Peyrassol or Chateau La Coste as some of the many cultural sights nearby.
