The newer Hotel Pratt is a cozy hotel, nestled behind the historic Hotel Pratt, one of the older structures in the historic village of Cooperstown, NY. Guests of the Hotel Pratt enjoy FREE off street parking in our private lot and the convenience of being in the heart of Cooperstown. It is just a half a block from Main Street, where one can browse through Main Street shops or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. It is under 300 feet from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field where the game of baseball was created (according to local legend).

The location was excellent, just off the main street in Cooperstown. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower offered ample hot water. The room matched the photos precisely.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. The location, however, is the main attraction here. It is situated right in downtown Cooperstown and is steps away from the Baseball Hall of Fame and numerous restaurants. Highly recommend if you are visiting for a trip to the HOF.

Excellent location

No frills place to stay in the heart of cooperstown. Parking on site was awesome! Not "new" but clean and exactly how it was listed. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had while we stayed. Definitely recommend if you want to be in town and need a place to stay.

Location, location, location. Great parking, right downtown. Easy to walk to all shopping, Baseball Hall of Fame, and restaurants. The building is set back so it’s quiet and very safe. It’s a great choice if you are looking for a simple, affordable and friendly place in town.

No-Frills Stay with a Slightly Suspicious Vibes

If you’re looking for a no-frills stay with hot water and mysterious energy, look no further—literally, it’s tucked down a back alley behind a historic hotel that it 
 is not. This is called the “New” Hotel Pratt but it’s not “new” and not a “hotel” 
The front door was wide open. No lock. No lobby. No security. Just vibes. A black cat prowled the property nightly, clearly in charge. The garage stayed open for reasons no one dared ask, and we barricaded the room with a heavy chair (no joke) because
 instincts.Laundry lives in a basement accessible only from outside, and the hallway aroma said “long-forgotten heirlooms.” The room did smell great, and the shower delivered—but even that couldn’t distract from the spider making unbroken eye contact from the ceiling.Decent if you’re on a budget and don’t mind an air of suspicion mixed with lavender. It gives grandma vibes without the charm, but it’s a place to stay.

Baseball getaway

Perfect location and the perfect staff! Anything we needed, the staff went over and above to accommodate us. The location is perfect to anything you need in town and just a short drive to the baseball fields. Best of both worlds when you stay here! Loved it!

Perfect Location

Proximity to Baseball HOF and local shops is unmatched. The room is simple and fits your basic needs. Owners were kind and attentive. Location allows you to park your vehicle and not move it during your stay which is a huge perk. Again Hotel Pratt was perfect for a quick getaway.

Pleasant stay

Hotel Pratt is a very convenient place to stay in Cooperstown. You can easily walk to the Hall of Fame Museum and the shops on Main Street. The free parking on the premises is a big plus. The room was clean and comfortable and I had no complaints. The owner responded to all inquiries quickly.

Great Location

The location is perfect and we were able to walk to shopping and resturants on Main Street. The room was clean and the property is well cared for. Would stay here again in the future.
