We loved this quick trip and VRBO stay. This was one of the smaller homes we have stayed at AND one of the best host supplied kitchens, gaming, yard and lake toy host/hostess provided homes we have experienced. I recommend this stay to a couple or family and plan on returning again.

This cute lake house is in a peaceful wooded area with a great position on Hyco Lake.It is well equipped and the hosts are excellent with communication. We spent time using the kayaks and stargazing from the hot tub.We would happily stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake cabin! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake views were fantastic, and the cabin had a peaceful, private atmosphere that made it easy to unwind.The space was cozy and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for enjoying the outdoors while still having everything we needed nearby. We especially enjoyed spending time by the lake and taking in the scenery.The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Nice and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. Loved the convenience of rinsing off in the outdoor shower as well. The house was well stocked. There were extra throw blankets and even a fire starter for the fire pit. I would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

This property was just as advertised. Exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to rest, relax and reset. We really enjoyed coffee on the deck, afternoons laying on the dock and evenings in the hottub. The outdoor shower was great on the cool evenings. This had all the amenities needed and really felt like home. We will be booking again in the future.

Quiet retreat

The area turned out to be perfect for watching the stars, very little ambient light. It was wonderfully quiet (off season). The host was helpful and responsive to questions. And the place was bright and clean, with lots of thought put in to making it comfortable.

Needs extermination done as we had a little visitor during our stay. 🐭

Both SUP were in POOR condition. We were looking forward to using those but ended up kayaking. 1 mouse seen in great room.

We have a regular service that comes out and have had no reports of any mice since your stay (you did not tell us at the time you only mentioned this in the review). I will have our crew do an examination to see if any can be located. If they are found, we will make sure they are removed. We will also check on the state of the paddle-boards. They are only a year old so did not think they warranted replacement but will check now that you bring this up. Please know that we strive to make our guest experience be as enjoyable as possible and really take guest feedback seriously. This was a perfect property for our group3 adults, 2 young children, & 1 dog. The host is very responsive, the home is clean & comfortable, and all the little things to make your stay easy (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc etc etc) are provided. We also enjoyed using the fire pit & kayak!

This was a gem of a home to rent. The owners are super great at communicating and everything went smoothly! The property was beautiful and we have no complaints at all. I cannot say enough about the view!!! Boathouse was awesome to be able to use, with a great location on the lake. The beds were pretty good, rentals usually do not have good beds but I slept great! The yard down to the water is a bit steep, not a problem just a heads up if you have elderly guests with you. They have done a great job making a walkway down to the water. Oh and the fire pit was awesome!

A Very Comfortable Home With Beautiful View

Would highly recommend this home for a couple or small family. It is a very comfortable and clean home. The view was amazing, the resident squirrels were very entertaining and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit one chilly evening. The property is very steep - especially down to the lake. The area is very peaceful. We would definitely return and recommend.

Great vacation destinations.

My family had a wonderful time staying at this house. Jeremy is a fantastic host and was accommodating throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this is as your next vacation destination. We plan to return next year.

Hidden Haven stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The fishing was great, but getting up and down between the dock and house was a hike for us old geezers. Also , would have appreciated a dishwasher. Us old geezers are also spoiled.
