We absolutely loved our stay in this cute and super clean apartment. Beautiful view over Sacre Coer and since we are coming from NewYork we loved the multi culty neighborhood. The Apartment is across a bakery and super close to restaurants and bars and the Metro station.

The apartment was nice and cosy. I'm not sure if the owner of the property was aware that there were lots of small cockoraches in the kitchen and the dishes wasn't properly cleaned.

I’m sorry for these inconveniences; You should have told me…. I was not in the appartement this summer and the last hosts told me about it. I guess it is because of the high temperatures In July… I did a treatment for that and It would be fine that you inform me about these. Anyway I thank you for your discretion, but don’t hesitate, it allows me to keep my place clean and to propose a nice hosting.

Great stay

Stayed in the apartment with my family (2 adult / 3 kids). Enough space for us but we spent most of the time out exploring the city. Fresh bread and vegetables are literally just outside the building. I recommend!

Everything was okey. The apartment is 8-10 minutes walk from sacrecour and Montmartre with its great. And the apartment is fine. From the kitchen window you can see sacrecour. The only negative is that the stairway area has a bad smell from the shops and the nearest blocks has not the same “montmartre atmosphere” as you have 5 min walk west from the block.

This was a nice stay

Armelle is a great host - answered to all the questions quickly, was supportive and very flexible, when it comes to check in hour. The location is also good - with a nice view of Sacré-Cœur, close to metro and bus stop. I recommend this place.

Great apartment

This property is really nice. Comfortably fit the 5 of us. Conveniently located near the train. Amazing host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here gain!!

Lovely flat. Good base for getting around

The communication was great. Lots of help with anything we asked about. Nice flat. Spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children for our 4 night stay. Would recommend.

Armelle was very hospitable and accessible, helping us to navigate check in at 2 a.m and leaving 5 metro cards for us, so that all we had to do was replinish them to use. Checkin tip: push the left iron door to the complex inwards to enter. It is very heavy, so it's not clear if you are doing it correctly until you give it a good go. Works perfectly fine though. The apartment is in the18th Arrondissement which is not always revered as the nicest place. However, we felt safe, using the Chateau Rouge metro station each morning and evening. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. And the apartment complex itself felt very secure with 2 external locked entrances (street into foyer into complex). We were there for the weekend, and the streets accumulated litter due to the ethnic market below, but was promptly being cleaned Monday morning as we were leaving. There was a decent amount of urban noise from dark until about 11:00 pm nightly. However the location and access to the Sacre Couer was unparallelled, less than 3 blocks away. Plus a view of it out the kitchen window! The beds and amenities were accurate to the description, though it wasn't abundantly clear the primary bed is a sofabed which definitely made things cozy. The internet was not unlimited; we went over the prepaid amount and would have used less had we known. However Armelle remedied that when we informed her. All in all this is a value proposition if you are comfortable with the location.

A very cosy apartment within walking distance of the Sacre-Coeur and Montmatre. Very close to the Metro and some lovely bakeries nearby. The apartment has a great shower and working amenities, including Wi-Fi. The kitchen is great, with a lovely view of the basilica.

Lovely place to be

Amarelle is such a wonderful person and her flat, a lovely multiculturell place to be, near by great views of paris. Its on you to use the possibilities for having a great week as we had.

Great view of Sacre Coeur from the kitchen. It's an older building in a fairly rough neighborhood. Close to the metro.

Family stay in Paris

Fabulous view of sacre couer! The place was small but functional and welcoming. Close to metro. Vibrant and different area, with easy walk up to montmatre. We loved the Boulanger over the road! Merci beaucoup.

Excellent apartment for tourism in Paris

Everything went well. The apartment is well equipped with comfortable beds, linen, towels, good internet and a washing machine. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people (the 5th bed is a bunk). It is well situated at the foot of Montmartre, near two metro stations as well as Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (although the neighbourhood can be insalubrious at night, and a little noisy). Armelle provided recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area, and was responsive to messages. Can recommend for visitors to Paris.

The apartment is small but comfortable what makes the difference is the availability and kindness of the landlady Armelle. The metro is nearby and from there you can easily reach all of Paris. Right under the house there is an excellent vegan restaurant. But there are also downsides: + the bathroom is small + there are 3 floors of narrow staircase + the neighborhood is dirty, noisy and full of strange characters (although we didn't have any problems) I don't recommend it to a family with small children

A comfy retreat

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teen daughters) and found this to be a comfortable landing pad for a 4-day stint in the area. We had all that we needed in this simple apartment, with a lovely curated collection of photos and furniture. It is modest and clean, and we would definitely come again. The area is diverse and lively (there was a small street parade the first night, around 11pm?) and I noticed many different types of people occupying the neighbourhood comfortably together. It was not noisy between midnight and about 9am. Armelle was excellent to communicate with and she facilitated a few changes we wished to make with ease. Overall, a very very good experience for these Canadians!

Property was great and as described, stairs will be hard for older/less mobile people as not straight as very old bulding. The neighbourhood area was very dirty and smelly although very close to the metro. Having said that a lot of Paris is dirty and with people peeing all over the streets so the smell and dirt is not unusual.

The apartment is very central to Sacre Coeur/Montmartre area, which we loved! It is nicely decorated. We had some trouble with appliances (the hot water tank leaked, the washing machine was hit or miss if it would work) and the unit is older, doesn't breathe, so the humidity was high and the windows fogged up easily). Armelle was easy to get ahold of, and responded well to the issues. The precise street of the apartment is pretty lively, although we didn't have any issues, even on the days where we didn't get home until 10pm. Overall, nice place - with a bit of attention to the appliances and better ventilation, I would definitely stay here again.

Family trip to Paris

For a family of 5 it was a tight squeeze. We were under the impression from the listing that the bedroom had bunk beds and a sofa bed plus the sofa bed in the living room. Unfortunately in the bedroom there was only a bunk bed. There was a problem with the toilet seat and for about 24 we had no seat. The kids were afraid of falling in. Our host did her best to replace it as quickly as she could. It was quite warm inside and hard to cool down although we had all the windows open and fans on. Be advised the neighborhood is working class and residents loiter on the streets all evening socializing. It can be loud and a bit intimidating for some. Host is wonderful and very responsive.

In my opinion, this level of exigencies will never fit with the price you paid for 5 people in the heart of the city, furthermore during the Olympic Games in Paris. Amazing location for this price...

You can see the Sacre Coeur from the apartment and it felt so special to be there within a 10minutes walk after a delicious morning coffee in a cafe. We did this daily and it was wonderful to be so high up in Paris and have amazing views of the city before planning our day. The apartment itself has a really lovely feel and is super clean and inviting with beautiful decor, and Armelle is a delight to communicate with and incredibly flexible on arrival/departure times to coincide with flights. The only downsides were that the local neighbourhood could be loud at times until 1am (which didn't bother us so much but I am writing this for those people who need total quiet to sleep - though I am sure earplugs would work fine if that's the case!) and that the local butcher is right by the entrance to the building and so the smell hits you as soon as you go outside (one of my daughters is a vegetarian so that was intense for her.) But other than that, this is an amazing apartment and location for a great price. Enjoy!
