Trés genial!

Nous aimons rester chez Armelle. Nous avons penser que nous allons avoir deux chambers, et c'est une chambre seulement, mais l'appartement est marveilleux, Armelle est marveilleux, et notre voyage était la meilleur!

Great stay

Stayed in the apartment with my family (2 adult / 3 kids). Enough space for us but we spent most of the time out exploring the city. Fresh bread and vegetables are literally just outside the building. I recommend!

spannende Lage

Die Lage ist sehr gut verkehrsmäßig angebunden, jedoch haben wir viele Stadtteile von Paris noch angenehmer erlebt. Der Stadtteil lebt auf seine besondere Weise. Die Wohnung hat Charme, die Ausstattung könnte opulenter sein, die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war hervorragend.

Très agréable sejour

Appartement très agréable, proche du métro. Ce n'est pas le plus beau quartier mais le prix est raisonnable et nous avons pu profiter de Paris. Mention spéciale pour la belle vue sur le Sacré Cœur !

Family trip to Paris

For a family of 5 it was a tight squeeze. We were under the impression from the listing that the bedroom had bunk beds and a sofa bed plus the sofa bed in the living room. Unfortunately in the bedroom there was only a bunk bed. There was a problem with the toilet seat and for about 24 we had no seat. The kids were afraid of falling in. Our host did her best to replace it as quickly as she could. It was quite warm inside and hard to cool down although we had all the windows open and fans on. Be advised the neighborhood is working class and residents loiter on the streets all evening socializing. It can be loud and a bit intimidating for some. Host is wonderful and very responsive.

Kleines, stilvolles Appartement in lebhaftem Viertel

Das Appartement liegt in einem ärmeren Viertel, so dass man die Kinder nicht alleine zum Croissant holen schicken würde, aber es selbst ist gut gesichert, sehr hübsch, liegt U-Bahn-nah und es ist sehr sauber. Es ist natürlich etwas beengt zu 5., aber es ging dennoch gut und wir konnten uns auch nachmittags vom Trubel draußen erholen. Wenn man mit dem Viertel kein Problem hat, ist es definitiv zu empfehlen.

A comfy retreat

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teen daughters) and found this to be a comfortable landing pad for a 4-day stint in the area. We had all that we needed in this simple apartment, with a lovely curated collection of photos and furniture. It is modest and clean, and we would definitely come again. The area is diverse and lively (there was a small street parade the first night, around 11pm?) and I noticed many different types of people occupying the neighbourhood comfortably together. It was not noisy between midnight and about 9am. Armelle was excellent to communicate with and she facilitated a few changes we wished to make with ease. Overall, a very very good experience for these Canadians!

Lovely flat. Good base for getting around

The communication was great. Lots of help with anything we asked about. Nice flat. Spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children for our 4 night stay. Would recommend.

Sejour très agréable

Appartement tres propres et bien situé dans un quartier hyper sympa. Accès tres facile pour visiter Paris. Je conseille cet appartement pour qui veux passer un sejour pour visiter Paris. En plus le sacré coeur a 10 minutes a pied magnifique. Merci Armelle. Patice et virginie de la Drôme

Family stay in Paris

Fabulous view of sacre couer! The place was small but functional and welcoming. Close to metro. Vibrant and different area, with easy walk up to montmatre. We loved the Boulanger over the road! Merci beaucoup.

Good

The apartment is very central to Sacre Coeur/Montmartre area, which we loved! It is nicely decorated. We had some trouble with appliances (the hot water tank leaked, the washing machine was hit or miss if it would work) and the unit is older, doesn't breathe, so the humidity was high and the windows fogged up easily). Armelle was easy to get ahold of, and responded well to the issues. The precise street of the apartment is pretty lively, although we didn't have any issues, even on the days where we didn't get home until 10pm. Overall, nice place - with a bit of attention to the appliances and better ventilation, I would definitely stay here again.

Superbe séjour en famille au coeur de Paris

Excellent sejour passé avec nos 2 enfants de 7 et 10 ans sur Paris, avec comme pied a terre l'appartement d'Armelle. Veritable cocon charmant et d'une tranquilité impressionnante, bien qu'au coeur même de la capitale, pourtant dans l'un des quartiers les plus animés. Confort et quiétude pour les 5 nuits passées sur place, avec en prime une superbe vue sur le Sacré Coeur. Tout était clair et calé avec Armelle avant notre arrivée (jour férié du 1er janvier qui plus est). Idem pour le départ. Nous conseillerons à nos proches cette belle adresse !

Lovely place to be

Amarelle is such a wonderful person and her flat, a lovely multiculturell place to be, near by great views of paris. Its on you to use the possibilities for having a great week as we had.

The apartment is small but comfortable what makes the difference is the availability and kindness of the landlady Armelle. The metro is nearby and from there you can easily reach all of Paris. Right under the house there is an excellent vegan restaurant. But there are also downsides: + the bathroom is small + there are 3 floors of narrow staircase + the neighborhood is dirty, noisy and full of strange characters (although we didn't have any problems) I don't recommend it to a family with small children

Splendido soggiorno

Sono stata a Parigi con la mia famiglia (siamo 5: genitori e 3 ragazzi di 19, 17 e 14 anni). La signora Armeille è stata gentilissima, disponibile ed accogliente. Il piccolo appartamento, in perfetto stile parigino è delizioso, con una distribuzione degli spazi perfetta. La cucina piccola e perfettamente attrezzata ha una vista splendida sulla basilica del Sacre Coeur. Ubicato in un quartiere popolare,vivace e multietnico è collegatissimo con tutte le destinazioni di Parigi. Solo due piccoli consigli: nella cucina ci starebbe benissimo un piccolo microonde. Nell'annuncio renderei possibile la selezione di 5 adulti, perchè l'appartamento li accoglie perfettamente. Ringraziamo la signora Armeille per l'ospitalità e speriamo di tornare ancora.

Excellent apartment for tourism in Paris

Everything went well. The apartment is well equipped with comfortable beds, linen, towels, good internet and a washing machine. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people (the 5th bed is a bunk). It is well situated at the foot of Montmartre, near two metro stations as well as Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (although the neighbourhood can be insalubrious at night, and a little noisy). Armelle provided recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area, and was responsive to messages. Can recommend for visitors to Paris.

Amazing location for this price...

You can see the Sacre Coeur from the apartment and it felt so special to be there within a 10minutes walk after a delicious morning coffee in a cafe. We did this daily and it was wonderful to be so high up in Paris and have amazing views of the city before planning our day. The apartment itself has a really lovely feel and is super clean and inviting with beautiful decor, and Armelle is a delight to communicate with and incredibly flexible on arrival/departure times to coincide with flights. The only downsides were that the local neighbourhood could be loud at times until 1am (which didn't bother us so much but I am writing this for those people who need total quiet to sleep - though I am sure earplugs would work fine if that's the case!) and that the local butcher is right by the entrance to the building and so the smell hits you as soon as you go outside (one of my daughters is a vegetarian so that was intense for her.) But other than that, this is an amazing apartment and location for a great price. Enjoy!

Property was great and as described, stairs will be hard for older/less mobile people as not straight as very old bulding. The neighbourhood area was very dirty and smelly although very close to the metro. Having said that a lot of Paris is dirty and with people peeing all over the streets so the smell and dirt is not unusual.
