This Casita is exquisitely decorated with Indian antiques, Mexican ceramic lamps, colorful Mexican fabrics and handmade needlepoint cushions from Guatemala.
It is one of the largest casitas in the exclusive 'Casitas de las Flores' section of Costa Careyes. The Casita is on two stories with high ceilings and stunning oceanfront views on both levels.
The downstairs level has a large living room, two dining room areas, a fully equipped spacious kitchen, several sitting and lounging areas, a guest bathroom and a small pool overlooking breathtaking views of the ocean and beaches.
A spacious stairway leads to the second floor with three large oceanfront rooms each with a luxurious private bathroom, extensive closet space and a private sitting area on the ample outdoor terrace
The Master bedroom is exceptionally large and elegant extending out to a very wide sitting area and sunning couch on the outdoor terrace. This is a lovely private space with excellent views.
There is also a children's bedroom and bathroom with a very comfortable bunk bed.
The Casita is located in short walking distance between the hotel 'el Careyes' and the exclusive Playa Rosa beach and restaurant.
This is a perfect house for couples and families
Daily maid service is included in the price.

My family and I were one of the first to build a house in Costa Careyes in the mid 70th. I always loved this resort and are coming very often.
Patricia deGramont purchased this house in 2004
We loved our stay at the luxurious Casa Mango. The pictures are certainly beautiful, but being there in person far exceeded our already high expectations. The casita was clean, spacious, and well furnished, with comfortable couches and lounge chairs everywhere, a beautiful pool perfect for watching the sunset, and a number of great bedrooms. The master bedroom was a romantic and comfortable retreat, with a TV as well (though we never used it and honestly I'm not sure why you would with those views). Great food either on the beach or a short drive in either direction from the casita, along with other beaches nearby if you want to branch out from the beautiful one that is a one minute walk down the stairs (but again, why would you?). We ended up making breakfast every morning and the occasional lunch in the kitchen, which has all the pots, pans, and dishes you need. Can't recommend this place enough.
This is the second time that our group of friends stayed at Casa Mango, and we've absolutely loved it both times. The view from the casa's living room is gorgeous, with open walls that overlook Careyes's picturesque coast.
Tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable couches and lounge chairs, the casa's spacious living room also features a pool overlooking the terrace, which is perfect for relaxing with a beer at any hour of the day. The terrace and balconies are littered with beautiful flowers, tended to weekly by a gardener.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary appliances, and there's a washer and dryer for laundry. There's plenty of space in the dining area to eat and host parties, but there are also multiple restaurants and dining areas close by as well, although a car is necessary. We particularly liked the restaurant La Loma, which is very affordable.
The four bedrooms upstairs are comfortable, spacious, and air-conditioned - a must. Up to seven people can comfortably stay in the casa (3 queen-sized beds, 1 twin).
The beach is just a short walk downstairs, very well-kept and never crowded.
We had no complaints. The views are spectacular and the accommodations luxurious. We will most likely return next year as well.
I was stunned at the luxury level of this accommodation ! The views are breathtaking, the condition of the casita is impeccable, and the luxury and safety level we perfect. Had several great meals at the Playa Rosa restaurant, visited the wild, amazing beaches. There is also horseback riding, paddle boarding and kayaking available, which my son enjoyed. We loved having dinner at the Punto Como restaurant in the Plaza and enjoyed exploring the area. Careyes is everything and more than I expected. I hope to return to Casa Mango!
My husband and I just spent an idyllic week in this luxurious casita on the pacific. About an hour and a half from Manzanilla, and an easy three hour flight from LA, Careyes is a world unto itself, and the gorgeous Casa Mango is the largest casita in this colorful grouping. With views of the sea from virtually every room, it is a spacious and well appointed dwelling. The bedrooms and bathrooms are airy and beautifully decorated with colorful paintings and Indian artifacts, the indoor pool is a plus, especially after a day at the sea or a long drawn out lunch by the beach, both within easy walking distance from the casita.
Maid service is provided, and if you decide that a break from the nightlife is necessary, you can have beautifully prepared meals cooked and served for a nominal charge.
The owners are very easy to deal with, and overall provide a wonderful experience.
A great surprise to discover such a well kept luxury house in the exclusive resort of Careyes on the pacific coast of Mexico. There is ample space in the bedrooms, each one having its own big bathroom. For the living room and the bedrooms, there are stunning views on the Careyes bay and the Pacific Ocean. The house is beautifully decorated in Mexican style and has all the modern communication equipment. Will be back next year.
Casa Mango offers a fantastic experience that feeds my soul. A day after I left the sound of the sea stays with me. The view of the rock formations just off shore changing colors throughout the day with the surf breaking at their base allows the soul to soar.
Every part of Casa Mango allows you to be part of nature’s spectacle and rhythm. The views, the peace, the bougainvillea mini-trees that shed petals which are swept each day by a wonderful housekeeper, (the place is kept immaculately clean) the sounds of conversation in the passageway below the house is so soothing yet companionable you are released from the high-speed world we have come here to escape for a while. You are outdoors feeling the healthy effects of nature as the Casita is open to the sea and the well-protected harbor.
The high points were scuba diving is available through PADI certified dive shop, excellent restaurants nearby, a fun drive to Barra de Navidad is great for shopping and surf watching. Carayes is about an hour’s drive to the Manzanillo Airport. I plan to re-visit in January 2015.
The Casita has 4 bedrooms with attached bathrooms; it is very attractive and comfortable. It is the nicest and largest Casita in the Las Flores Casitas. The beach is just 2 flights of stairs away. Great swimming, paddleboards are available and there is a restaurant for lunch. Parking is nearby. The community has gated security.
