A good location with some major drawbacks
I should have been more careful when choosing a place to stay. We are a couple in our 60's and should have known better. Although it is pretty in pictures, the couch was too soft and too low for either of us to sit in without major back discomfort. The only other option are the dining table chairs, which are fine, but not ideal for an evening in the flat.
There is essentially no place for clothing other than a rack with some hangers. There are no drawers. One shelf holds an extra blanket and could be used if the blanket is put on the floor. The place is historical, and ancient, which is charming but means there are areas with mold on the wall, near one of the windows, and in several places in the stairwell. The major issue for us was the fact that it was on the 3rd floor, and I did not understand what that meant. The ground floor is floor 0, so there are 3 large flights of very high and somewhat unequal steps to climb as well as a very large initial step at the front door. Do NOT bring large suitcases as they are hard to bring up and down.
On the plus side, great loation and fully equipped kitchen.
