My Oporto House is part of a restored building dated 1850, which is classified by UNESCO as World Heritage! Your luxury stay in Porto!

It's located in the heart of historic Oporto city centre, in Douro riverside quarter known as Ribeira, surrounded by the most beautiful and important sights of the city like Palace of Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace), S João Novo Palace, Dom Fernando Wall, S Francisco Church, Palace of Arts, Hard Club, Douro and Port Wines Institute, House of Henry - The Navigator, Ribeira riverside area, Dom Luis I Eiffel bridge and Port Wine Cellars. All that you want to see in Porto, just a few steps from your home!

In this quarter, you can stroll around the narrow twisting streets, enjoy the colorful facades of the houses, once painted once tiled, taste the most tipical food in busy 'tascas' or restaurants or take party in one of the most lively bars in Ribeira or 'Galerias de Paris'!

Despite its prime location, the house is situated in a very quiet and silent place, so the guests can have a good nights!

Outside the apartment, within walking distance there is a Bus stop, a Taxi terminal, a Porto Tram City Tour stop, a Bus City Tour stop, Guindais funicular, Douro's boat cruises, a Car park, Shops, Supermarket, a Police Station, a Municipal Tourism Office, Restaurants, Bars all you need in one place!

The apartment is 20 minutes by car from Sá Carneiro Airport and five minutes walking distance from train and Metropolitan Station San Bento.

Stylish Apartment in Old Town Porto

Small but well-equipped and comfortable apartment ideally located in Porto’s historic center. Check-in was a breeze and owner arranged car service and provided many useful recommendations. Recommended!

Lovely flat in downtown Porto

Great place to stay to explore Porto. Not too far from the metro and train stations as well if you want to explore further abroad.Isabel is a fantastic host. She met us at the apartment and gave us some great recommendations in the areas as well for things to see and nearby restaurants.

A must stay!

This apartment was perfect! It was steps away from the Douro River and lots of restaurants and sights. Isabel welcomed us and spent a lot of time recommending things to do - complete with a map!). She sent multiple texts with other wonderful recommendations for how to experience Porto! Very communicative! Lived it!!!

Amazing Experience!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!

Great apartment in a great location

We stayed at Design House Old Town for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, modern, extremely well decorated, and has everything for a stress-free stay. The host, Isabel, was present at check-in and responded promptly to all messages throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. The only negative thing is that the apartment is on a very narrow street with no car parking. This makes it a little difficult to arrive (and leave) by car with anything more than a little luggage. If you are not driving, and/or are travelling light, there are no negatives about Isabel's property.

Beautiful apartment in great location

Isabel and her husband were very helpful. The small apartment has everything you need, well appointed and efficient. Very close to the river and sites with many great restaurants close by.

Cozy apartment, convenient location

Our host, Isabel was wonderful. I don't think there is anything she couldn't or wouldn't do for a guest and she helped us with many bookings. The apartment is nicely decorated and ideal for anyone wanting to weekend or so in Porto. For two older travelers on a several week trip in the EU, we could have used a bit more room to be ideal. Also I need more light than when I was younger so I found the lighting to be dimmer than I like. No fault of the apartment, we weren't necessarily the right tenants. Close to river made it easy to enjoy all there is to do with a short walk home

Historic stay

Porto is a lovely city. Apartment was close to the river and historic sites. It was very comfortable and clean. Complimentary port wine was a nice touch. Be ready for steep streets and steps to apartment. Parking is expensive and driving is challenging,

A mother daughter break in Porto

The most incredible property and a host extraordinaire

The apartment was beautiful in a location that made everything walkable , for two of us it was perfect! Isabel is a host extraordinaire , our experience in beautiful Porto would not have been the same without Isabel’s personal touch. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport , met us at the apartment with a wealth of information about Porto, valuable tips etc. and booked three tours for us. Very good location

The apartment is neat, fully equipped and perfectly located. In addition, Isabel is a gem and very supportive. Thanks for helping us out with our reservations ! The restaurant next door, Mistu is a must try, especially their butterfish foie gras and the crème brulée. Isabel also arranged for us a very nice cruise on the Douro valley together with some wine tasting. Thank you so much !

Perfect for two of us

I stayed with my 15 year old daughter at this cozy and modern property and we absolutely loved it! Location was great-close to the river, variety of restaurants for any budget, grocery stores, shopping and major attractions of Porto. But above all, i appreciate the care and hospitality of our host Isabel. She arranged eveey detail of our stay including airport transfer, tours, amazing breakfast delivery service provided by Tita-always on time, quality food and customized options depending on guest preferences. Isabel recommended and even booked for us few restaurants and we loved each of them for unique ambience and tasty meals. My words don't do the justice to Isabel for all the great care that made our stay at Porto so memorable. Thank you, Isabel!!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’appartement d’Isabel. Propre, joli, pratique, équipement complet pour la cuisine, lit douillet. Fauteuil du salon un peu inconfortable mais c’est la moindre des choses. Que dire de notre hôte!!! A . Accueil personnalisé, aide pour le transport à l’aéroport, des adresses pour les repas, les visites, etc. Je vous le recommande sans hésitation.

Outstanding

Our experience with Isabel was fantastic from the beginning to the end. She went above and beyond to help us enjoy our trip and experience the Portuguese culture. The house was perfect for my husband and l and it had everything we needed. It’s in a good location and surrounded by good restaurants and shops. Isabel personally welcomed us and made herself available. We highly recommend her place, we’re also planning on coming back soon.

Porto Studio Has it All- Location, Design and Service

We loved our stay with Isabel in Porto. The Apartment was spotless, very well designed and comfortable for two. Isabel arranged transportation for us and a great full-day Douro Valley wine tour that I highly recommend. If your looking for a place with a high design fell this is your place. It’s a 2nd floor walk-up but not unmanageable if you can walk the hills of Porto. Also can be noisy at night but that’s the cost of a great location.

Updated and comfortable studio with a good location for exploring central Porto. Isabel makes everything easy. Definitely recommend the Douro Valley wine tour. A beautiful spot in the world.

Fantastic location. Close to the Douro river and the wine caves. But what made our stay more enjoyable was all the attention and help from Isabel. We had a great stay and hope to be back.

5 star host in Porto

Isabel is the best VRBO host we have ever encountered. From her excellent communications in advance of our arrival to greeting us upon arrival, to providing a map to go over with all her recommendations of things to see and do, to setting up dinner reservations (which we needed for the best restaurants). She coordinated picking us up at the train station and dropping us off at the airport very early. She gets host of the year, 5 stars!! The property is in a perfect location to walk the city easily. The AC was important as temps got into 30C during our stay. The shower pressure was fabulous and such a gorgeous bathroom. Loved the Port wine she left us as a gift too! Highly recommend this property if you wish to stay in Porto. Thank you Isabel!!

Amazing!!!

This was a perfect place to stay. Isabel is incredibly friendly and very responsive. She met us on our first day to make sure we were settled in. She provided recommendations before and throughout our stay in Porto to make sure we had the best time possible. The location is perfect. Steps to the Tram, the bus, the water … everything really. The apartment is so tastefully decorated, very comfortable. We have everything we needed. There is a quaint balcony with beautiful views Isabel went above and beyond to make our trip to Porto memorable. Thank you Isabel!!

Above and Beyond

I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals this experience exceeded most firstly due to Isabelle the host. From a onsite greeting upon arrival, a sample of Port wine for us to try and detailed suggestions with a map for visits during our stay. She arranged Airport pick up and return, restaurant reservations, personal walking guide and much more. The unit is a well designed and supplied Studio with a very comfortable bed and open Balcony. Some stairs leading up off the street, but nothing difficult. It’s located in a great central area so walking to all the highlights of Porto us absolutely doable. I recommend very highly, you will love it and her.
