Relax in this new accommodation located in Le Thor in a quiet area near Avignon, Mont Ventoux which can accommodate up to 3 people
For your comfort: Private swimming pool from mid May to mid October, 2 air conditioning in the living room & bedroom, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave connected TV, Netflix included, WiFi, electric bed 160x200, convertible sofa with Italian shower, household linen provided, parking on private road.
July-August rental 7 nights minimum.
Out of season, minimum of 3 nights.

The accommodation consists of a living room of 30m² comprising a fitted kitchen with dining area, a living room, a small closed room with a washing machine. A 15m² bedroom with dressing room. A bathroom with an Italian shower.
Outside, terrace with deckchairs and table near a swimming pool reserved for you.
Wooden shed where you can store bicycles or other equipment.
The 50 meter path that goes from the road to the car park is not suitable for lowered sports type vehicles. All other vehicles can use it without any problem.

Just perfect

We feel quite refreshed after our stay. The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a VRBO. It was light and airy, well arranged and had everything we needed. Dips in the pool cooled us after days of exploring the area. Our hosts were very responsive and did everything they could to make our visit as pleasant as possible.

Le Thor VisitMy husband, Joe, and I had a very wonderful relaxing stay at Thierry’s beautiful place in Le Thor. We were warmly welcomed by he and his sister, Elvire, which was very beneficial as she was able to bridge the language gap between us and Thierry (we don’t speak French and he doesn’t speak English). We later had the pleasure of meeting his daughter, Laura, who assisted us with a couple minor details on appliance operations and also help with translation. I would like to emphasize here that anyone considering this property who do not speak French should not be concerned, as we were all able to navigate the situation.Everything about the home was exactly as presented and we were able to relax, cook some meals, enjoy the private pool, comfortable bed, and especially the air conditioning in both the living area and bedroom; as the temperatures were extremely hot during our stay.We found that Le Thor was an interesting and historical community, that was quiet, uncrowded and friendly.We want thank Thierry for allowing us to enjoy his VRBO property and will remember his and his family’s wonderful welcoming manner.Sharon and Joe

Eine wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft, modern, sauber mit allen Annehmlichkeiten (2 Klimaanlagen, grosse Kühl- Gefrierkombination, Kaffee Padmaschine und normale Kaffeemaschine) . Es hat an nichts gefehlt, selbst Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vor Ort. Dazu die beiden liebenswerten Gastgeber Elvire und Thierry, die immer nett und hilfsbereit uns zur Seite standen und uns das Gefühl von Zuhause vermittelt haben. Die Lage war für uns perfekt für Ausflüge sowohl in den Luberon, als auch nach Avignon, Pont du Gare usw. Und ich habe es geliebt, mit dem Fahrrad morgens in Velleron für das Frühstück köstliche frische Baguette und Croissants zu besorgen. Man kann die Gegend wider Erwarten sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad erkunden, es gibt viele verkehrsarme Nebenwege und die französischen Autofahrer sind rücksichtsvoll. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Thierry und seiner Familie. Unsere mangelnden Französischkenntnisse wurden mit Googletranslater und der Tochter von Thierry gelöst, die mit uns auf Englisch kommunizierte. Sie waren stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist perfekt, die Ausstattung ist genau wie beschrieben. Le Thor liegt zwischen Avignon und dem Luberon, so dass man für Ausflüge viele Möglichkeiten hat. Auch mit dem Fahrrad kann man viel unternehmen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Ruhiges und sehr gut ausgestattetes Appartment

Wir haben eine knappe Woche hier verbracht. Der Check-In verlief kontaktlos, es gab eine Anleitung, wie man in die Wohnung gelangt. Auch später hatten wir nur einmal kurz Kontakt mit der Vermieterin (wir sprechen aber auch nicht gut französisch). Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr modern ausgestattet, mit Induktionsherd, höhenverstellbarem Bett (nur leider kein Boxspring-Bett), Klimaanlage, bodengleicher Dusche, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine etc. Außer guten scharfen Gemüsemessern haben wir nichts vermisst.Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, in einer Seitenstraße von der Hauptverkehrsstraße und abseits des Orts gelegen. Gleich 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt gibt es eine Tropfsteinhöhle zu besichtigen, und einmal den Hügel hinauf eine schöne alte Abtei-Ruine. Nachteil der Lage ist natürlich, dass man zum Einkaufen zwingend ein Auto benötigt, weil der Supermarkt und Bäcker 8 Minuten entfernt sind. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre der Parkplatz: Dieser ist zwar gleich neben dem Haus, aber die 50 Meter von der Hauptstraße dorthin führen über eine Schotterpiste voller Schlaglöcher und sind daher nur sehr vorsichtig zu befahren. Hier die Straße mal mit ein paar Bottichen Erde/Kies zu ebnen, wäre hilfreich.Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen das Haus gern weiter! :-)

Heerlijk huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Warme ontvangst. Prachtige omgeving.

Prima huis, fijn zwembad. Goede ontvangst. L'Isle sur la Sorgue en de Luberon hebben veel te bieden. Fietsen was goed mogelijk.
