  • Paradise in Provence

"This property is simply amazing. We recently enjoyed a family vacation with friends (4 adults and 2 kids) and we could not have chosen a more picturesque or perfect location for our week long stay. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need including very comfortable beds. The outdoor space is stunning. Our kids (ages 3 and 4.5) loved the pool, my husband mastered the charcoal bbq and we ate out on the terrace many nights. Le Grand Tilleul is located near several of the historic and quaint Provencal towns and wineries and is the perfect distance for stunning countryside drives or day trips to some of the Luberon valley's best markets. One of the highlights of our time in Goult was taking a cooking class at Venice en Provence. Not to miss if you are foodies like ourselves. We highly recommend this beautiful home and it's lovely owners who were very friendly and provided us with tons of information about the surrounding area. This was certainly a bucket list trip for us and an experience we will never forget. We hope to venture back to Le Grand Tilleul for another incredible family adventure and live the beautiful Provence life once again."

  • Wonderful week at gorgeous Provence home

"Hi Ann, We just had to tell you that we had such a wonderful time at Les Murets. Your home was so gorgeous! It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is also so homey and comfortable. Once we settled in, we went over your suggestions for daily activities. We used it as our guide all week. It was wonderful. We went to the market in Coustellet and bought some produce. Then we headed to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. That market was wonderful. We bought some items there and then had a really nice lunch in a little outdoor restaurant on the canal. Every day was beautiful and we did so much - went to the markets you suggested, great restaurants and shopped. We went to the Lavender Museum and the grocery stores Utile in Cavaillon and Super U in Coustellet. We loved the Gordes Market and spent hours there. We all bought clothes, tablecloths, oil paintings, gifts, etc. and ate at an adorable little restaurant near the castle, Creperie De Fan and then went to Roussillon which we loved and stopped at a Winery, Domaine de Tara on the way home. We went to Saint Remy and ate in a cute little restaurant in town, L’Aile Ou La Cui. We went to Mausole St. Paul. We spent a day in the walled city in Avignon. And we went to Fontaine de Vaucluse. That town was so lovely. Your suggestions were so helpful. We tried to explore on our own too. We spent a lot of time getting lost and driving around the roundabouts. In doing so, we came upon some beautiful scenery and places. And we met the most wonderful people. Everyone everywhere we went was so nice and friendly. We absolutely loved Provence and staying in Les Murets. We were all sorry that we didn’t have two weeks at Les Murets. We didn’t spend nearly enough time in your beautiful home. We were just settling in and getting used to everything when it was time to leave. We all hope to go back. It was one of the best vacations we ever had. Thank you Ann for your hospitality and please thank Nicholas again for everything. He was great!"

  • A Dream Come True

"Maison d'LArtistes--Sept.3/16-Oct.1/16 Nestled into the quiet, rural Hameau of Tartuguiere in the Luberon Valley is a little jewel of a country home. My wife and I rented this property for a month---and it is without doubt--the best vacation we have ever had. The owners--both artists--Marine and Christophe were very helpful in every way---always available if need be--but never intrusive. The home is a 19th century setting out of a Dickens novel---lovingly restored with wonderful antigue furniture, from family treasures. The setting is surrounded with vineyards---but several marvelous village towns are all within a 30-45 minute drive away--with wonderful restaurants. We enjoy cooking our own meals, and the kitchen has everything one needs . This is a location for those who have DONE all the major cities of the world, and are looking for a quiet rural retreat. My only fear in writing this review--is that it will be difficult for us to repeat such a wonderful experience--I warn you--book ahead and early! Merci beaucoup, Marine and Christophe.
