The house was everything we needed to spend quality time with our family. The weather was cool enough for us to use the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals, and the main floor had all the space we needed so we never really went in the basement (which is very nice and roomy).Everything on the deck was very nice. We had to clean everything before being able to use it, but it all worked well. The patio table was hard to sit around to eat at with our family, but we made it work (narrow space on the deck). Overall we enjoyed our stay on the very private property, and the host was very easy to work with and communicate with.
We had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for a big family with pre-teen kids. Outdoor space was fantastic.Direct access to the UTV/ATV trail system was so convenient as the house is just off of the main North South Trail. The host's were very responsive and we especially liked the kitchen and family area.
Great place for a family and or group to stay. Lots of space to gather. And the hot tub was appreciated by all after a long day of UTVing! Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back next year!
It was a wonderful stay! Place was beautiful, location was great! We wanted to go UTVing and could leave right from the property! Even though it rained a couple of days, we enjoyed the beautiful home while playing a mean game of dominoes!😊
This house is lovely. Everything we needed and then some. Roomy, clean and such a pretty setting. We want to return every year for our annual family reunion at the lake. Thank you!

We were a family of 11 staying for a wedding in Crandon. House was perfect for us! Little Tipsy bar has thr best breakfast pizza to take and bake! House was clean and kitchen stocked with pots etc. to be able to prepare anything. Thank you hosts. The Wolff family
We had 2 great days UTVing. The house is in a good location, right next to a main trail. There was 4 couples and we had plenty of room for trucks and trailers. Traveling south and east our first day, about 140 miles and south and west the next day, about 130 miles. There's plenty of places in Townsend to stop at.
This property was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Each couple had a separate bedroom and there are two full baths (+ a half) for showering. Good amount of space for dining, gathering upstairs or downstairs in the bar area. We loved the outdoor space! Whether on the deck or playing bags over by the fire pit. Plenty of room for our four trucks and trailers (and a lot more). Close to gas and grocery, yet very secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, and pans. I was a hero in the group for finding this property. Our entire group loved it and it was more than reasonably priced for what the property provides.
Very good experience with this listing and beautiful place. We had plans to be in Florida when things got derailed from hurricane Ian. We booked this listing in short notice and made plans to head up north, we received a call that a friend of ours had lost his life and we needed to change our plans again. They were very responsive and understanding, they helped us move our dates without issue. It allowed us to take sometime with our children to enjoy the fall beauty and forget some of life's struggles for a while. Thank you
Great location to ATV trails. Many businesses very close! One small problem with the furnace but had wood burning fireplace that took care of the chill! Owner gave partial refund for the issue! Very responsive and friendly! Will definitely go back again!
The property is nicely secluded yet close to town. 4-wheelers can be rented nearby and trails are very easily accessible and in good condition. The house served our group (8 adults / 4 children) well and the price was very reasonable. Any questions of the owner were answered very quickly. There were beaches close by that were great for the kids.
This home and property it is on are absolutely beautiful! The house was clean and very spacious. Everything was exactly as described online. The hot tub was nice and ready for us! My kids and I loved the place, and there are so many beautiful sites in the area. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here!!
My friends and I had a great weekend staying at this house! It’s nice and private. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and just enjoying the company and the outdoors!

Dirty and uncomfortable.
The basement couches were so dirty we refused to sit on them and the queen size bed was horrible soooo very uncomfortable. All the first floor furniture was dusty like it had not been cleaned in months. We turned in the coffee maker and ran it with only water to make sure it was clean…the water came out filthy and black. We had to clean the throughly the grill because it was so filthy it had pieces of meat still stuck on it. The owners are very nice an attentive, but for what they charged it was not worth it.
Very nice house and property. The bar area in the basement was nice to hang out in. We had 2 bear come right through the front yard while we were sitting by the fire.
Very nice property right on the ATV/Snowmobile trails. You can literally drive from your front door! Clean, spacious and inviting for that up north experience. Hot tub was preheated and ready when we arrived. The renters were very responsive and engaging to questions prior to the visit.

Thanks so much Brian! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
The house was perfect. Kate was easy to talk to. We had a wonderful time. My grandson accidentally packed a wireless charger. Kate was so sweet about it. We returned it and I hope Kate accepts my apology for that. We heard different birds, wolf, coyotes and saw a bear!
Thank you Kate.

Juli, no worries at all! We are so glad you had such a wonderful time. Come visit again 😊
This place was absolutely wonderful. We were a group of 70 year old women celebrating our birthdays and this place and area of WI was perfect. The place was spacious and very comfortable, even the bunk bed room worked for us “old” ladies. Kate was an absolute doll, wish she could have joined us if even for a day. I really hope to be back some day. Thank you Check families for a most memorable 70th birthday celebration for all 11 of us!😘
