Quaint, 2-UNIT brick ranch set of homes with a total of 6-bedrooms, 4-baths in a beautiful neighborhood in Huron - MINUTES away from Cedar Point & Lake Erie Islands. There is a West & East side. Both of these homes are all in one building, but are separated by two garages; there are NO COMMON living space walls. It makes a great family retreat for large groups or multiple families for tournaments, competitions, or Cedar Point visits. Huge backyard makes BBQing (charcoal grill) easy for group meals. Escape to Lake Erie in this set of 2 comfy, cozy homes. Quiet, safe neighborhood, beautiful park right across the street - there's not much more that an VRBO guest could ask for. Four total flat-screen smart TVs for your enjoyment!

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please remember to: -take trash out to the bins. There is one on each side of the house, -wash and put away all dishes, and, -place towels in the washer.
There is no need to do anything with the bed linens, but let me know if there were any beds that were not used so we can conserve water and energy by not laundering unused bedding.
Please also lock the front doors upon your departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Dogs are $35/night, per dog. VRBO website doesn't have capability to charge guests for more than 1 dog. Additional dog fees will be sent separately.
1st and last names of EACH guest staying on property are required, including minors. Guests unwilling to give host all names will not be approved.
Guests must sign a Rental Agreement within 72 hours of booking.

The duplex was ideal for my daughter and I along with some other dance friends for a dance competition. It’s close location to Kalahari was ideal and the place is very spacious! The owner is also very responsive and gave us some great tips!

Very Nice Property

We had such a great weekend staying here. My four siblings and family members were able to stay at the same location, share meals and enjoy each other’s company. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood! It was a short drive into the lovely town of Sandusky and finished off the weekend with a day at Cedar Point! It couldn’t have gone any better!

We had little ones and because we had both sides of the duplex, we were able to put them to sleep on one side while the older kids could still play and have fun on the other side! Family time at Cedar Point

This property has a nice back yard, a nice park across the street and is in a nice residential neighborhood. It is close to grocery stores and gas stations. Easy drive to Lake Erie and Cedar Point. Negatives are the home has vinyl flooring throughout with nothing to absorb sound so you hear all sounds especially at night and early morning. Also no dishwasher (although admittedly not listed) is a negative. No one wants to wash dishes on vacation.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family stayed at Plum Brook (East & West) for a short get-together. These things can be difficult to coordinate because we all have different working schedules and my brother has small children, but Jennifer's rental was perfect in every way. My sister, and brother and his family were able to stay on one side of the duplex while my parents and my husband and I stayed on the other. Both sides of the property are decorated beautifully and the house was immaculate. We have stayed at other VRBOs in the past but were surprised just how clean everything was. The living rooms and kitchens were both big enough that we could have everyone gathered together on one side for communal things like having dinner, playing games, or sitting outside. We really appreciated being able to have everyone "under the same roof" so to speak yet to have the ability for my brother and his wife to manage the kiddos on the other side when it came time to sleep. The driveway parking was plenty big enough for our minivans and SUVs. The house is conveniently situated near Sandusky as well as other area attractions, so for us it was very easy for everyone to tool around the area and use the VRBO as "home base" to relax and unwind. I especially loved the back yard. We had great weather during our stay and loved being able to sit outside on the back patio to enjoy a rare evening in each other's company. Would love to stay again when we can get back out to Sandusky.

The property is five stars.

The property is in a beautiful neighborhood, very quiet and serene. When arriving entry to the units was very easy. The property was very clean, with comfortable furnishings. However, I recommend being very careful when walking around the foot of the beds because the frame sticks out further than the mattress and I put a gash on my shins. The property owner is very friendly and informative and available anytime. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Unique Property for 2 families

This place was terrific. We had 2 families (family of 5 and family of 6) that wanted to stay together. This unit was great because we had our own privacy but could hang out together in either unit and outside. The beds were all updated and comfortable. The shower's water pressure was great. Both units were very clean and cozy.

Attended our Nephew's wedding at Cedar Point and there were 6 of us. We rented both sides so that other family could also visit. This was very nice and the host was accommodating. One of the best in the area.

Very good property. Looked like it had been recently updated as it was in very good shape. I am a small time property owner/manager and would recommend it. Wish the restaurants were a little closer but the Sandusky waterfront was not too far. Had one dinner at Plum Brook CC and it was very good. Played golf at Eagle Creek, Thunderbird South, Plum Brook CC Friends come in form all over; LA, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Montgomery AL. Most attendees went to Miami University. Enjoyable weekend and everything in the house worked well

My husband and I are foodies, so we primarily travel to eat! One of our favorite destinations is Hilton Head. My husband is a military veteran, and I stay busy running our vacation rentals. We love getting to know new people, which is why transient rentals appeal to us. Our listings appeal to guests because of their proximity to one of the world's largest amusement parks, Cedar Point.

Why they chose this property

Hull Road is a country road just a couple of miles from the "main drag" in Sandusky. What that means is guests will experience the quiet nature of the countryside, but be just a few minutes away from restaurants and shopping. The dog park is right across the street!
