The beautifully restored barn dating back to 1798 oozes charm and character. With its huge oak beams and exposed stone walls it offers a truely authentic French gite experience, but with modern comforts.

Breathtaking views and tranquility will capture you immediately. It really is a nature lovers paradise.

The gardens are beautifully maintained complete with a stunning salt water pool, table tennis, badminton and petanque.

Your private candlelit seating area is perfect for dining and star gazing. The Milky Way can been seen from the gardens; a spectacular site.

A complimentary welcome food basket and bottle of wine will provide you with a light supper on your arrival day. Your first breakfast is also complimentary. We wish for you to relax from the moment you arrive.

Take a 15 minute walk in the morning to the village and collect your fresh croissants and baguettes, passing Chateau de Beauvais on your way.

With so much to do and see in the local area from Michelin star restaurants, idyllic towns and villages to canoeing, French markets and 1001 châteaux, our destination really does allow you to do as much or as little as you wish.

Massages, facials, yoga, Indian head massages and Reiki are bookable additional services to help complete the perfect holiday.

We are described by our guests as a little corner of French paradise.

We had a very relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and well equipped gite. The pool, landscaped garden and surrounding countryside were thoroughly enjoyed with an abundance of interesting wildlife to watch.

Very much enjoyed the tranquil situation of the gite, it was very quiet with a lovely pool, we particularly enjoyed the end of the day sitting at the pool looking over the valley spotting the wildlife, Chrissy and Dave were both very helpful in every aspect.

zeer aangename omgeving met de ervaring van de afwezigheid van lawaai. ook 's avonds/ 's nachts geen lichtvervuiling. aangeduide wandelingen in de buurt en leuke marktjes en romaanse kerkjes in een straal van 50 km. wat het huisje betreft: iets meer opbergruimte zou interessant zijn voor mensen die wat langer verblijven. het lavabomeubel ( mooi kastje en degelijke kraan) is echt wel veel te laag!

Un cadre idyllique pour se reposer et profiter de la nature

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment au Petit Coin! Nos hôtes étaient discrets et très attentionnés : panier de produits locaux a l’arrivée et premier petit déjeuner livré ! Tout est de qualité et très bien décoré, l’accès à la piscine nous est réservé presque toute la journée. Merci encore à nos hôtes pour ces superbes moments

Gîte décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Piscine et transats splendides. Jardin très très agréable. Lieu idéal pour un couple qui souhaite se ressourcer.

lovely rural cottage

a beautifully renovated gite in a nice quiet location with all necessary amenities and a lovely swimming pool in a beautiful garden. The owners are very welcoming and give you plenty of tips during your stay. A really lovely place to relax !

Our French life began in December 2018 when we embarked on a total renovation of the property. We followed our hearts to begin a 25 year dream. We renovated our hearts out for 18 months bringing the property and land back to life after years of neglect. It has been an epic adventure and pushed us in every possible way, but brilliant fun too. We have been fortunate to have travelled the world, but always kept being pulled back to France and knew one day we would call it home.

Why they chose this property

The character, charm and idyllic location are a heavenly blend. With so much to do, explore and discover it's hard to tear yourself away. The wildlife is incredible and can be observed from the garden and pool terrace. A particular favourite is the crane migration which happens twice a year, spring and autumn. A truly majestic sight with hundreds of birds flying overhead for weeks.
