Little "G" Cottage on the Farm

Welcome to this quaint studio apartment in the country! Just a couple of miles from town you have a little place to escape and unwind. Relax in the pool under the beautiful oak trees. Nap in a hammock to the sway of the breeze. Enjoy a place to rest after a grueling hike at Colorado Bend State Park (or the little nature walk). The space has a queen-size bed, a small space with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig. The bathroom provides the basics and a shower. Come stay with us! We are a "net-zero" property!

The Little "G" house is a wonderful value. The setting was peaceful and close to town. The bed, pillows, and sheets were particularly comfortable. This is important when you are out of town and need a good night's sleep.

Perfect Hill Country Getaway!

This truly is a hidden gem in the sea of vacation rentals. We have all been there, scrolling forever to find the place you want to stay and yes forever lol. If you are looking for an off the beaten path studio apartment with basically your own pool, stop scrolling, this is it. Ben was amazing and the price it great.

quiet and peaceful

some of the best sleep we have had in a long time,cool, dark and quiet. it is a beautiful country setting and the pool is great. Jaime is a great host pays attn to small details, like having bug spray, snacks, games, etc in the room....we will be back!

Beautiful Country Cottage with a Touch of Bovines

Beautiful, peaceful, cozy little cottage. Everything that a person needs for life sustainment is there: soap, towels, toothpaste, bedding, etc. Check-in was easy and the double gated fence around the property ensures ones security. The wifi worked very well, even way out in the country. Seeing the grazing cows between the inner gate and the outer gate makes the stay so serene. I will definitely stay at the cottage again in the future.

Great place to disconnect.

This was a great little place to disconnect. Even though it rained the whole time we were there and there was no tv we loved it. We spent the time with music and games and it was perfect. Just what we needed to relax. Jamie is great. Her communication was awesome. We will definitely be back. I’m the spring so we can enjoy the pool and the fire pit… and hopefully it won’t rain. ☺️

Wonderful place!

This is a hidden gem! It is minutes from Lampasas. It is a peaceful, country place with any amenity you may need. The outdoor spaces look like they’ve jumped off the pages of a magazine! Our days were spent visiting Colorado bend state park & inks lake state park (both were about 45 minutes away). We spent evenings relaxing by the beautiful pool, watching deer graze the property, and saw bats swoop down for drinks from the water. Check it out - it’s amazing!

The cottage was perfect! Lots of wildlife and birds! Super clean and well stocked with everything needed for an enjoyable stay! Great base for hiking at the Colorado Bend State Park and exploring nearby towns. Perfect place to gather and spend quality time with those you love, rest, read, take a nap, swim, and star gaze. Peaceful Hill Country Studio

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was in the perfect Hill Country location central to all the parks and nature we went to explore. This was a guest house for the main house and the surroundings were the true definition of the Texas Hill Country. The amenities of the pool, fire pit and basketball court were also awesome, even though we didn’t actually use any. The stargazing was Fantastic! The studio was comfortable and provided all the basic necessities you could have needed. Lack of a tv wasn’t bad since we were out all day. We had one small issue with the toilet in which the owner was quick to respond and problem was quickly solved. Overall was a great stay!

Cozy & Secluded

The cottage was in very nice surroundings and was comfortable. The wind was high during our stay so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor seating around the fire pit in the evenings. It was easy to get to and was close to the state park.
