Lovely home

The owner of the property was very accommodating and easy to work with. The decor was lovely and everything was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is not actually on Powers Lake. It is about a half a block up the street and there is not a lake view.

Awesome!

This house was perfect for our vacation! The interior is beautifully furnished and has a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was equally amazing, with plenty of room to have a family gathering.

This is an amazing place. Very roomy, clean, updated and great location. Kate is an amazing host, extremely helpful, friendly and available to you. It is very well stocked with anything you need for your stay. I highly recommend this property, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing house and host

The pictures don't do the house justice! It is so much bigger than I thought it was. We had a great time, the neighborhood is wonderful. The house had some great amenities as well!

Perfect home base for family wedding

Quiet, light filled home with just the right amount of space and beds for several family members. Plenty of seating to eat or hang out inside or on the back deck. Location was well situated to enjoy nearby quaint coffee shop, local Friday fish fry, fresh farmstand produce and morning stroll down the street to Powers Lake. Kate did a great job on this home rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate's place near Powers Lake. We do a fair amount of travelling and can say Kate thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. It was very well updated, clean, well lit and her Lake Decor was perfect. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and appliances and the short1/2 block walk to the beach. Powers Lake is a real nice lake. Thanks Kate for the great place.

We love it!

This is the second year that my friends and I have stayed at this lovely house while we attend Gary Con over in Lake Geneva. The house is perfect, quiet, easy to access, and has everything we needed to make dinner and have some fun hangout times with each other when we got home from the con or needed a break from the crowds. Kate was quick to respond to all my questions and incredibly kind!

Quiet location

Wonderful vacation home for our family get-together. The home is newly renovated with a large deck. Kids loved the beach close by and good access to Lake Geneva. Only problems were a malfunctioning dishwasher and a leak from the ice cube maker into the fridge deli tray. I would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful Lake Home

Kate’s home was a perfect place for our family to enjoy a weekend together in Powers Lake. Plenty of space for 6 adults and two kids to spread out. Beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen was the best appointed of any VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. The backyard had lots of nice furniture and a fire pit for hanging out after time on the lake. Loved the flowers in the front yard. Plan to rent this home again next year!

Peaceful and relaxing!

We did a girls weekend for my daughters 18th. It was me, my sister, cousin, and 3 daughters. Place was immaculate and super comfy. Backyard is a great place to congregate and visit and bonfire. We spent a lot of time back there. Took only about 15 minutes to get to the restaurants and shops in Lake Geneva. The Rock Bar II had amazing food and is only minutes around the lake. Absolutely perfect weekend!

enjoyable lake vacation

We had a great time spending time with each other while enjoying the house, yard, and nearby lake! The grandkids enjoyed the new experience of playing in the sand and swimming in a lake. The outdoor patio was relaxing as well as the firepit in the evening. The fisherman enjoyed trying their luck in several lakes in the area. The interior is quite comfortable with the kitchen the best I've ever found in a rental! There's every kind of appliances and utensils available. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing especially as we watched the sunsets.

Wonderful family vacation

I stayed at Kate's place with my mom, sister, and our four children, ages 7-13. The house could not have been better! It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The two floors and big back yard allowed plenty of space for us to spread out. We played games, made s'mores in the fire pit, and enjoyed relaxing on the back patio. The small lake beach is a quick walk down the hill in the lovely, friendly neighborhood. A great find! Thanks, Kate!

A Herculean effort saved the day

This property is flawless, beautiful setting, close to lake, updates galore and clean as a whistle. First night tornado warning (no tornado), second day, washing machine failure, Kate was there in minutes and problem fixed. Third day, A/C failed and Kate was there in minutes and got it fixed by a pro in very short time. She is a property manager Par Excellance…….A+ in every way

Family vacation

Kate, property owner was fantastic in answering our questions, researching and providing us with information on hiking and activies around the area and grocery stores for fresh organic food. (we loved the mushroom store, River Valley Ranch) there was Berkots grocery store not to far from the house that had everything we needed for our meals and firewood for the firepit. Kate provided a high chair and gate to keep our toddler safe. The house was extremely clean and spacious as we had 6 adults and a toddler, we enjoyed the nightly meals on the grill, we brought yard games and enjoyed playing games as a family in the spacious back yard. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and short drive to Lake Geneva.

Loved it once again. Wish we came a week earlier when it was warmer, but the house is lovely and the fire pit was perfect for the temperatures.

I was born and raised in this home. My children are all grown and I wanted to open it up so others can enjoy it as I and my family have over the past 56 years. It is such a unique area that offers so much to do for those who want to spend time with family, relax and unwind.

Why they chose this property

Powers Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Wisconsin. It is located just 10 minutes from all that the beautiful Lake Geneva area has to offer. Enjoy swimming, skiing, fishing, sailing, boating, an ice cream cone from the ice cream truck, a hot air balloon ride, a day at the spa, a cruise on Lake Geneva, catching fireflies at night, etc. The options for fun and relaxation are endless!
