Dream Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay for the second year in a row! We have "family camping" at the Rock Dam campground nearby. Our group ranged from infants to adults and wonderfully accommodated us! We really love renting the Wilde's VRBO and love forward to enjoying time at their beautiful lake house! It is simply breathtaking!

Great stay and beautiful location!

We had such a great girls weekend at the cabin on the lake! Wonderful, remote location. Spotty cell service, which isn’t always a bad thing! Perfect patio right on the lake with beautiful views and everything you need for a great stay! Heidi was super great for check in and all needed information. We would definitely stay again!

Rock Dam lake

Well stocked house, right on lake. Kayaks and boat house were great. We had 90s everyday and enjoyed the lake. Brought our inner tubes and cooled off in the water after a hike at Wildcat mound park (a 30 minute drive). Make sure you follow the owner’s driving directions!!! Google maps takes you on ATV-like roads - and in danger of getting stuck- with no cell phone reception. Bring all you need, there are no close stores, or kayak across the lake to Lakeside for dinner! The burgers were huge and hit the spot!

This is a dream come true: scenic sunset views, friendly neighbors, rural feel! The outdoor spirit is alive and well in the summer with water sports and ATVs/UTVs, and in the winter with ice fishing and snowmobiling. Beautiful at all times of the year!

Located between Neilsville and Thorp it is easy to get here from anywhere!
