Great location...just across from the beach. The unit was clean and well equipped. The unit comfortably slept 5 people.

It was not a great unit. It smelled, lamps didnt work, old/loose recepticals, toilet paper smelled like bug spray and the window in the small room is old and has a gap in it so traffic was super loud in the room all night long.

Thank you for your honest feedback, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
I wanted to address a few of the concerns you mentioned. The lamps were functional, but we discovered that the outlet they were connected to had gone bad. That issue has since been repaired. We also checked into the concern about the toilet paper and did not find any evidence of a bug spray smell; however, out of an abundance of caution, we replaced the entire package it came from.
Regarding the window, you’re absolutely right, there was a very small gap due to deteriorated caulking. Over time this can happen, and we’ve since repaired and sealed it to prevent outside noise and drafts.
We’re sorry to hear that the unit did not meet your expectations, but your feedback helped us identify and correct these issues quickly. We appreciate you bringing them to our attention and hope to provide a much better experience in the future.
Enjoyed our stay in Jan. It was a bit chilly. Condo was everything we needed for a great stay, right across from the beach. Balcony was perfect for watching sunrise and set.
The condo was clean and everything was in working order. There was however no washer/dryer as was listed in the unit. We love this location- it’s our second time staying here!
The owner was great to work with and other than a few wayer spots in the ceilings the condo itself was good, however, the front staff was on their phones during the check in process making it difficult, the power went off a few times, they were still doing construction, parking was small.
Nice place and comfortable. Loved the comfortable mattress. It was missing a couple items in the kitchen that I communicated to the owner. Also, there could be another comfortable chair in the living room. We were indoors a lot due to bad weather. On the whole, I would suggest this VRBO for a coastal experience in Galveston.
Condo as described in description. It could use a cutting board, additional knives, and a crockpot. We were there when it was 100 everyday. Patio bedroom can get warm, so a fan would help for those super hot stretches. We had a little fan with us, so it felt fine. If it wasn’t 100, the room would have been comfortable. There is road noise, but it didn’t bother us. Beds were very comfortable. It was nice that the back parking lot was locked during the night hours.
Was not able to get into room after 45 minutes. Code did not work. Call all phone numbers list in the instruction and no answer. Owner was advised that we were arriving at 12:30am due to family flying in late. Finally the owner was reached by lobby staff. Lobby staff advised that they are not able to unlock door as the units are owner owned. After speak to owner trying 2 other ways to get in an was not able to. She put us in a different unit but this was under construction on the balcony. Crew was fixing the beams and banged on balcony all day long. Crew working on balcony put sign on balcony door "unsafe to use." Was not able to use balcony as this is what I paid for. Was a beautiful weekend to do so. Would not stay here again. I feel that some of the money paid needs to be refunded for all the inconvenience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you went through. I understand how frustrating it must have been arriving late at night and not being able to access the unit as expected.
Unfortunately, the door code issue took longer than usual to resolve, especially given the late hour. Once we were able to connect, our priority was to get you settled as quickly as possible, which is why we moved you into a different unit right away.
At the time, that alternate unit did have some ongoing construction on the balcony. This was part of preventative maintenance being performed by the building to keep everything up to standard. I completely understand how the noise and restricted balcony access impacted your stay, especially when you were looking forward to enjoying it over the weekend.
For what it’s worth, the building has since completed that work, and there are currently no additional maintenance projects scheduled.
We truly regret that your stay did not meet expectations and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’re very sorry for the disruption to your trip.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was excellent, with quick and convenient access to the beach, making our experience even more enjoyable. For those sensitive to traffic noise while sleeping, we recommend bringing a white noise machine. Mornings on the balcony were a highlight, as we enjoyed our coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. However, for guests planning to cook meals, the kitchen cookware is somewhat limited. The available items included a small skillet with a scratched and flaking coating, a couple of pots, and a single 9x13 baking dish, with no additional bakeware. While not a major issue, it’s worth noting for those expecting a fully stocked kitchen. The unit was clean and well-maintained overall. A minor concern was a few broken outlet covers, which could be more significant for families with young children. Despite these small drawbacks, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Overall, the condo was nice. A few items, (that we did not report to the owner, as we don’t like people entering while we are there), the toilet needs repair as the chain to flush is broken; batteries need to be replaced in the TV remote in the front bedroom; the only light in the living room needs a switch to turn it on- the current one is broken. This is posted so future guests can see if maintenance occurs.
Great view. There is a laundry room available in the building but not in the condo..
We had a great time staying in Galveston, the location is a bit further down off of the main strip so it's a bit quieter and you can't get any closer to the beach, literally 30 seconds from the front door and you can be in the gulf. The property is nice, the building is a bit older and is showing it's age a little bit. Nothing detrimental just not new and shiny anymore. The condo looks to be updated in the past few years and there were only a couple of very minor things that could be fixed such as some broken outlet covers and couch. Internet speeds were in the 150MBS range. Kitchen equipment was basic....they could use a few more cups and bowls but it was adequate for a few days and we ended up buying some paper bowls. Overall a great place, we would certainly stay there again. Oh, and check out the mini golf course down the street, the kids made us go back every day to play a round.
Everything as advertised. Very tasteful decor, clean, functional and close to attractions. The seawall boulevard was a little too noisy and difficult to deal with when leaving for activities.
