RECENT GUEST COMMENTS BELOW:

Hello Tony & Monica, we arrived back home yeserday.
Your apartment is beautiful and was a perfect place to
relax after hours and hours of running around cusco and
macchu picchu. We had one of the best vacations in our 25
years of tripping around the world. Love your hotel,
it will be spectacular when finished. Loved Javier, met his
wife and son. He was very attentive and helpful. When we
return we will definately book a room at your hotel.
Thanks
Lynn & Joe

Amazing apartment
This apartment in Cusco is incredible. It is conveniently located to all sites within the city center. You can be in the Plaza de Armes within 5 min walking. There are many restaurants and shops located within minutes of leaving the hotel. The apartment is well equipped with everything that you need. The hotel that it is located in serves breakfast each morning, and the staff is helpful. When we arrived in Cusco, there was a driver waiting to take us to the apartment. Armando offered us a lot of information about what was happening in Cusco while we were there. It happened to be a celebration of the city and every day that we were in Cusco, there were different activities going on. We took a 2 day tour to Machu Picchu through SAS which included many of the ruins in the Sacred Valley. After the tour we were happy to return to the apartment where we felt at home.

Lovely apartment in a charming hotel, wonderful staff
My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks while in Cusco. The apartment was quiet, well appointed with great views and lots of space. We particularly liked the location, only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, and close to shops and restaurants. The staff was unfailingly nice and obliging, helping with luggage, recommending restaurants, arranging transportation and cooking us breakfast. Having breakfast at the hotel was a godsend. The only drawbacks were the 4 flights of stairs to walk up, and, because the weather was often cold and raining, the apartment was always a little cool, despite having the heaters on full. There was a fireplace but we couldn't get it to stay lit in the high altitude.

Gem in Cusco
We stayed at this great apartment for our 8 days in Cusco. It was perfect. Great location, great staff, good breakfast every morning with fresh cooked to order eggs. This apartment is on the top floor of the hotel. It is just like it looks in the pictures. Has a nice little kitchen that is well stocked for anything you would like to cook, although there are many amazing restaurants within easy walking distance. The only thing that would be a drawback for some is that the bed is a full size (for American standards). It didn't really bother us though. There is a nice little rooftop sitting area right by the apartment that is a good place for a cup of tea or glass of wine. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent, rent top floor apartment of Andenes al Ciello The best - private, kitchen, fire place, living room, glass enclose porch and one flight up is a roof top terrace with great view of city. No one else used while here for a total of 5-6 days. A real bargain.

Nice apartment!
Everything you need is here. Nice set-up and liked the outdoor space. Just wished the bed was bigger (we have a king size at home). Nice location. It was great to come back here after sightseeing and relax.

What a wonderful experience!
Monica and Tony's apartment atop the Andenes al Cielo was the perfect place to easily access Cusco, the Sacred Valley, etc. Monica and Tony, as well as the hotel's staff, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Should you find yourself in or around Cusco, there is simply no better spot to stay!

Location, beauty, people - all top notch!
I wanted to spoil myself for my birthday, and I am still pinching myself. This was perfect. Having walked 3 days through as many streets I could find, this location is absolutely my favorite. Beautifully appointed. The staff were extremely helpful, the food was great. Only wish I had stayed longer. Thank you so much!

FANTASTIC CUSCO APARTMENT, STAFF AND BREAKFAST!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Monica and Tony's lovely apartment on the top floor. It was spacious, beautiful, fantastic views...the pictures do not do this justice, it's awesome. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, taking care of our needs from the beginning of our stay to the end. We felt so welcomed. Breakfast was wonderful and very convenient. The location of Andenes al Cielo was perfect. It was close to everything and quieter than the square at night. The more we discovered by "getting lost in Cusco," the more we loved our location because it was close to everything. For our first (of we hope many) trips to Cusco, we had such a great experience and Monica set us up with a fantastic travel guide that spent 2 days taking us to all the wonderful sights to see in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. We are very grateful for the help we received at Andenes al Cielo and would recommend this charming place very highly for anyone coming to beautiful Cusco. We can't wait to go back! A Charming Place to Stay
This was a wonderful place to stay in Cusco. We were traveling with other family members who booked rooms in the Hotel Andenes al Cielo. Since the hotel breakfast was included with the apartment, we were able to join our family members. The breakfast was very good--prepared by very gracious helpful staff. The apartment gave us more room to be with family members and the extra space enhanced our time together. We loved the warmth of the sitting room off the bedroom. The apartment has an ideal location close to the central plaza, museums, restaurants, laundry, pharmacy. We found this to be a perfect accommodation for our family vacation in Cusco.

Location, Location, Location
My wife and I stayed in this penthouse apartment for 4 days. We found the location perfectly located in central Cusco, a few minutes from the main Plaza. Numerous restaurants and shopping are near by. The apartment is much better than what is viewed in the photos, and there is ample space. We had a fire in the fireplace each night and watching the sunsets from the roof top terrace was priceless. The staff at the hotel which also services this apartment were top notch. They were helpful and always had great recommendations. The nights were very cool in Cusco, but the Alpaca blankets provided kept us very warm. Having breakfast provided in the hotel was also a big benefit, and was an unexpected surprise. My wife and I would highly recommend this rental. Please note that there are 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment and can be tiring with the high altitude.

Central aerie in Cusco
The location of this property couldn't be better—close to everything important, yet just a tad removed. Plus, it has a rooftop view over the neighborhood and Cusco that gives you a lot of psychological breathing room. Second, the people that operate the adjoining hotel couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Our only complaint—though not insignificant—was that it was cold. We stayed there in May, with nighttime temperatures dropping into the 30's, and the heaters simply weren't up to the task of heating the place to a comfortable temperature. That was especially true when they would routinely shutoff for unexpected reasons, requiring us to ask help from the hotel staff to fix the problem. Otherwise … great!

Private Penthouse Apartment
Sitting atop the charming Hotel Andenes al Cielo, this apartment provided the perfect place for our week long stay in Cusco. It was necessary for us to walk through the hotel courtyard and up several sets of steps to get to the top floor, but it was worth it, both for the privacy and the view. We had a spectacular view of Cusco and the surrounding mountains from both the living room and the bedroom! The bedroom had a queen bed which worked for us and a fully enclosed sunroom off the bedroom with seating for two. This provided a wonderful spot to relax with a cup of coffee or tea. The modern bath with a shower plus a half bath was convenient to have. The kitchen was equipped with the basics; refridgerator, gas cooktop, toaster oven, microwave and coffee pot. There was nothing else we needed. Besides, with a hot "made to order" breakfast option provided by the hotel and numerous excellent restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance, I can assure you we didn't go hungry! Jack's, just a few doors down, became a favorite for soups and sandwiches. Additionally, The Meeting Place, a coffee shop up the hill on San Blas plaza was also a good spot for coffee, waffles, sandwiches and conversation. Just outside our door were stairs leading to a top deck where we enjoyed views of the city and surrounding mountains. Did I mention the guitar? An added plus for my husband! This apartment was within easy walking distance of the famous Plaza de Armas, with it's abundance of restaurants and museums. Just don't overlook the Plaza of San Blas. It's around the corner and up a steep hill, but has some delightful shops and cafes to explore. The attentive hotel staff provided concierge services and help us plan the details of our daily outings. We hope to return someday to this very special place!

Penthouse Apartment
Apartment was neat and clean and accurately described. Staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. Instructions for the apartment and appliances were adequate although we were initially confused about opperation of the heating system. Local street maps were provided, but not in enough detail to prevent us from getting lost once. Exploring the charm of Cusco on foot is a must, and more detailed maps would have been a plus. Really enjoyed our experience and would recommend this unit to everyone capable of handling the stairs.

Wonderful Cusco
We have taken much time to savor our trip and our stay at this apartment and its wonderful setting within the Hotel Andenes al Cielo. It seemed too good to be true, might be the most comfortable stay we have enjoyed in all our travels about the globe. The furnishings and accomodations with wonderful, friendly breakfasts that can't be beat. The entire staff led by Javier were most accomodating, friendly, cheerful, educational, informative, and helpful to all our travel needs. We still miss our friends there and hope we are fortunate enough to cross paths again someday. A truely wonderful vacation!

The Cusco Stay
This penthouse has lots of room including a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a outside (enclosed) deck. You can also walk up one more flight and to another deck that is totally open. The location could hardly be better being only a short 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. There are a number of very good resturants all within a short walk as well as the market which may take around 15 minutes. Hard to beat

Cusco Apartment Stay
This apartment is situated at the top of a lovely small hotel, Andines del Cielo, in the lower reaches of the San Blas neighborhood just a few short blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The location is perfect; close to everything, yet set off of the beaten tourist path. The apartment is perfect for a comfortable and quiet stay - and the hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to every request. If you are looking for an apartment that will serve as a home base in Cusco, I recommend this without hesitation.

Magnificent Place for 2 in Cusco
We had a marvellous week staying at this lovely apartment atop a great hotel in San Blas. The apartment was spacious for two, and we took advantage of the private enclosed balcony, as well as the roof deck, watching sunsets over the cathedral. The hotel staff is terrific, as well. The manager Javier was couteous and helpful, as was all of the staff, and we enjoyed seeing them each morning for breakfast in the dining area of the hotel. The apartment is near the plaza, but far enough for quiet rest from the tourist scene. We enjoyed the Christmas week in Cusco, as well as New Year's Eve, and the visit to Cusco was magical and restful. Thanks to Monica, Tony, and Javier for helping make our trip a wonderful experience. We hope to return some day for another stay. Recommendation to other travellers: DO go to Cicciolina for dinner and drinks. Their pisco sours are magnificent!

Best view in Cusco!
My husband and I just got back from our Peru adventure. We spent the first 5 days here and the apartment is just as beautiful as the pictures. The views are amazing, location in the heart of San Blas is close to great restaurants and shops and still close to Plaza de Armas and the bustle and museums downtown. Easy walking to almost everywhere. The staff is wonderful, they helped us arrange transport to and from the airport and bus station, had laundry done for us on short notice, answered all our questions! We highly recommend this rental, as well as the associated hotel!

On Top of the World in Cusco!
We stayed in the apartment on the top floor (4th floor) of this hotel in mid-March. Don't let the altitude detract from considering this beautiful apartment. My husband and I are in our 60's and we really had no problem mounting the steps and reaching the top! The climb is worth the effort. It is a one-bedroom, with wall-to-wall picture windows that provide the most beautiful views of the city of Cusco below. The apartment was extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished and the perfect place to relax in after touring the city. Ask the staff to light the apartment's fireplace, which also added a special touch. Apartment boasts a great locationg, just a few minutes from the main square. What's nice is that you get breakfast included in the rate and also concierge services from the staff at reception. Thank you Stephanie, Daniel and of course Javier, for making our stay so pleasant. Monica, you and Tony have a beautiful home and thank you for sharing it with us.

GREAT Stay in Cusco
I am a bit slow in getting our review online, but we enjoyed this apartment and the fine city of Cusco. We stayed a week in Feb 2010 and the weather was nice wit some rain, but we live in the rainy Northwest of USA so rain is OK even while traveling. But we did miss out on M.P. because of the great rains just before our visit. Now we will HAVE to go back someday!!! The thin air may be a problem for some, but take it easy the first couple of days and you will enjoy the old city and it's surrounds. Monica and Tony are great people to deal with and Javier is wonderful and helpful beyond belief. Their apartment location will give you a sense of being in an old Inca town with modern flare.
