The studio apartment itself is perfect for a short stay, especially if you’re planning to be out all day, it’s got everything you might need. Communication with the manager was great via WhatsApp, on first morning I realised the hairdryer didn’t work and it was replaced with a new one within half an hour. It can’t be helped but the area is rough to put it mildly, I didn’t feel exactly unsafe but you do need to be careful not to step into a syringe or other things left by drug addicts on the pavement. You’re only 15 minutes walk away from Psyrri/Plaka though and the metro is close so it’s a good base for sightseeing.

Ok/ bad part of town and apartment building
The room itself was clean and looked exactly like the photos with the amenities described. But, as a someone who has never been to Athens, the area was super run down and considered the drug hub and when I turned down one wrong corner, there was a so many homeless/junkies. I don’t like to write reviews like this but I want to warn others who might book here. The apartment building where the room is was super dirty and a lot of doors were broken or looked smashed (break ins) and the window in the stairwell looked like someone smashed a brick through it. I wouldn’t recommend due to the area and how unsafe I felt as a woman traveling alone.
