Le Funiculaire - au pied de Notre Dame de la Garde

Le Funiculaire is a lovely apartment located at the foot of Notre Dame de la Garde, more precisely opposite the former departure point of the old funicular, hence its name. Completely renovated in 2023, this charming 49 m² air-conditioned apartment with wifi (fiber optics) comprises a pretty 17 m² living room, a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, a lovely bedroom and a bathroom (with shower). The Old Port is a 10-minute walk away. Housekeeping is included in the rental price, and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels). Your bed will be made up on arrival.

The accommodation is composed as follows:
- Located on the 4th floor (no elevator)
- 17 m² living room with TV
- A fully-equipped kitchen including electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob...
- Bedroom with 1 double bed (140×190)
- Bathroom with shower
- Separate WC
- Cot available in the accommodation.

The loft is fully equipped to make you feel at home: Air conditioning / Wifi / Washing machine / Dishwasher / Nespresso coffee machine / Complimentary welcome coffee capsules ...

Cocoonr service:
You will be greeted personally on site by a service provider selected by Cocoonr Marseille, who will show you around the accommodation, answer your questions and hand over the keys.
Hotel-quality (4/5 stars) sheets and towels are provided, and your bed will be made up on arrival. Towels and bath mats are also provided. Wifi internet access via fiber.

Location:
The apartment is ideally located in Marseille, in a very pleasant environment. You'll be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets...

Transportation:
- Bus line N°49 is just a 3-minute walk down the street from Bd Notre Dame, providing easy access to the city center.
- Pay parking is available in the surrounding streets.
- The Saint Charles train station is 35 minutes away by Metro Line M1.
- The airport can be reached by shuttle bus to Gare Saint Charles, but we advise you to take a cab or Uber.

Le Funiculaire Die Wohnung war wirklich sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage hat auch bestens funktioniert, was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen von Vorteil war. Es befinden sich ein Supermarkt und zwei LeVèlo Stationen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zur Notre Dame kommt man auch leicht zu Fuß. Man sollte darauf achten, dass sich die Wohnung im letzten Stockwerk befindet, also ein paar Treppen bis zur Wohnungstür zu schaffen sind.

Le Funiculaire "🙂 Close to a bus stop which is handy after being out all day. Pictures matched the brochures photos. 🙁 Didn't provide hand soap which in Covid times should be mandatory. I didn't realise it was on the 4th floor with no lift. The steps are deep so not good for those with knee problems or the elderly. I also had to wait hours to be let in as the lady I was to meet for the keys didn't see me waiting in the street with my suitcase and left. I had to follow up with an expensive phone call. When she did turn up, she had forgotten the keys so she had to go to the office to collect a set. The keys to the building and the apartment itself were not easy to use. Each day I would pray I could get back inside. The fridge temperature was on too high and froze my salad and yoghurt which I had placed on the top shelf."
