Vierastalo nukkuu 2 paria ja lasta erittäin mukavasti (2 king-size-vuodetta, täysikokoinen sänky, kapteenin sänky (ja tarvittaessa sisäjousipatjavuode)), ja alakerrassa on täysikokoinen sisäjousipatja-sohva- sänky. Maan yksityisyys Vermontin NE-kuningaskunnassa. Lähellä luontoa ja vanhanaikaista maatilan viehätysvoimaa, rauhallinen - loistava pako. Päästä irti, rentoudu, pidä hauskaa, poista stressiä ja rentoudu tai lyö itsesi ulkona.

2-kerroksisessa historiallisessa majatalossa on vanhanaikaisia maalaismaisia charmeja ja eleganssia ja upeat näkymät SUURESSA yläkerran kuvaikkunassa. Yläkerran suuresta kuvaikkunasta on näkymät kauniille, muuttuville vuoristomaisemille ja eläimiemme antiikkille - kirkkaat yöt ovat loistavia tähtien katsomiseen. Jäähtyä syksyllä voit kytkeä pellettitakan päälle. talvella alakerrassa on pellettitakka ja lisäpuulämmitteinen ajoittainen tulipalo. Yläkerrassa on yksilöllisesti ohjatut jalkalämmittimet. Keitä myrsky avoimessa keittiössä, grilli myrsky ulkona tai tutustu lähistöllä sijaitseviin kahviloihin-ravintoloihin, ja etenkin # 1-Rated Hill Farmstead -panimoon 20 minuutin päässä. Ilmainen WiFi, kaapeli-TV ja Blu-ray DVD (+ Netflix-yhteys). Meillä on pelejä, kortteja, palapelit, kirjat, täytetyt lelut, väriliidut / taidetarvikkeet, Audubonin luonnonoppaat / kiikarit ja lepotuoli. Vaikka meillä on koko talon suodatin, meillä on myös 5 litran kuuman / kylmän veden annostelija ja kannustamme ihmisiä tuomaan henkilökohtaisia (ei kertakäyttöisiä) vesipulloja. Kysy Marcilta Tai Chi & 5-Season Qigongista tai (de) Stressin hallintaohjeista ja luokista, jos kiinnostaa. Selkeä taivas yöllä on hienoa tähtiä katselemalla (tarkista myös silloin, kun meteorisuihkut ovat). Kyse on Mount Harmony Farmin kokemuksesta.

Läheinen (lähes yksityinen) luonnonsuojelualue on aivan rinteessä - upea uinti (+ vesiliukumäki - vesi on tällä hetkellä kauniisti lämmin ja sen tulisi kestää syyskuun loppuun), kalastus, vaellus (kauniit luonnonkauniit näkymät ovat jyrkkiä kiivetä viimeisen 10-15 minuutin ajan) ja tutkia. Kilometrillä kauempana (Rte. 122) on maailmankuulu Leipä- ja nukketeatteri. Varjojärvi ja monet muut uima-alueet ovat myös lähellä. Craftsbury / Commons / Sterling College / Open Center ovat puolen tunnin päässä pyöräilystä, retkeilystä, tapahtumista, ruokailusta, viljelijöiden markkinoista, kesäkonserteista ulkopuolella ja muihin. Toiseen suuntaan ovat Burke Mountain-Kingdom Trails (maailmanluokan maastopyöräilytapahtumat ja alueen hyvät ravintolat / baarit). Talvella siellä
on hiihto, kelkkailu, lumikenkäily Burkessa, Open Center ja rasvarenkaiden pyöräily Kingdom Trails -kadulla.
Vierastalohinnat ovat korkeintaan 4 hengelle - lisävieraat ovat 25 dollaria / henkilö / nt (jos alle 5-vuotiaat = ilmainen [3 ilmaisrajaa] - kaikki ei-kävelevät imeväiset ovat ilmaisia). Hinnat luonnonmukaisesta maatilan oleskelukokemuksesta ovat lisäksi 25 dollaria. 00 per henkilö per päivä. Koska meillä ei ole tarkkaa peruutuskäytäntöä, jos sinä tai vieraidesi suunnitelmat ovat lainkaan väärässä - suosittelemme ottamaan matkavakuutuksen siltä varalta, että joudut ehkä perumaan.

Greensboro (Miller's Thumb, Willy's Country Store & Circus Smirkus) on noin 20 minuutin päässä, ja nopea hypätä villin suosittuun Hill Farmstead -panimoon (uskomattomia oluita / panimoita - siirry heidän verkkosivuilleen). Noin 10 minuuttia Circus Smirkusta etelään on monivuotisia nautintoja - kauniita ja taiteellisia puutarhoja, ostettavia kasveja ja upea teehuone, jossa on todellisia kiinalaisia ja hopeaesineitä sekä useita vaeltavia kanoja. Jos siirryt pohjoiseen Newportiin, löydät sieltä paljon nähtävää ja tekemistä, sekä Memphremagog-järvi, joka ulottuu hyvin Kanadaan (pyörätiet Newportista Kanadaan järven osien ympärille).

Huomaa: Nuoret eivät saa syöttää / petted suojattuja tuotantoeläimiä ilman valvontaa tai ohjeita, koska aasit eivät aina ymmärrä mistä porkkanat lähtevät ja pienet sormet alkavat. He eivät myöskään ole hevosia (hevosia voidaan ruokkia avoimista palmuista - mutta aaseja ei voi). Myös drooni- tai ilmaelektroniikan lentäminen omaisuudellamme hirvittää eläimiä - hieno lentää droneja muualle omaisuuden ulkopuolelle.

NUKKAVAT VAIKUT ...: Rakkaat Stephanie & Marc. - Meillä oli loistava aika. Rakastimme alakerran suurta huonetta ja erityisesti rakastelimme aaseja ja vuoria katsomalla yläkerran Suuresta huoneesta. Me kaikki nukkui kuin vauvat !!!!! Oli niin hauskaa katsella lintuja ja siru-munia, jotka tikasivat ulkona. Torben rakasti lumikenkäilyä kiinteistölläsi. - Kiitos, että toimitit niin loistavan leipurin mausteilla, öljyillä, riisillä (jota käytin), teillä ja vihreällä Mtn-kahvilla, jota rakastan. Tein ruoanlaittoa ja he siivosivat! - Kiitos myös siitä, että olette pelastettujen eläinten "vanhempia". Meillä on ystäviä, jotka asuvat Woodstockissa, VT: ssä, ja vaimo on täysin sitoutunut ottamaan eläimiä väärinkäyttäjien kodeista. A Magical Place

Mount Harmony Farm is the best place to unwind and enjoy the mountains, nature, and fresh air of VT. Marc and Stephanie are incredibly attentive hosts, and their animals provide hours of peaceful entertainment. We will always treasure the memories we made while staying there.

Home away from home

My family and pup loved our stay at this comfortable, rustic beauty by the woods with special touches that made it feel like home. We enjoyed the vegetable garden, fresh eggs, butter and cooking with all the seasonings provided. Perfect spot for walks in the woods, a nearby swim in a glacial pond and a great home base for side trips around Vermont. Comfortable rooms/beds and a nice evening breeze. Great hospitality and tips from Stef and Marc.

Idyllic Vermont farm

Mount Harmony Farm is quintessential Vermont—green, peaceful, beautiful. It was fun meeting the donkeys, geese and hummingbirds, and the garden provided us with a delicious salad, complete with edible flowers. Stephanie is a thoughtful host and interesting person who’s taken care with every detail of the house. We swam in the lake at the nearby state park. And Bread and Puppet is right down the road.

Charming guest house

Very well-maintained house. The one complaint is that the water pressure was really low in the shower. Plenty of linens, blankets, and all other necessary housewares. Just bring your clothes, toiletries, and beach chairs. The hosts live in the house next door, and are very friendly, helpful, and intelligent people. They have 2 donkeys, 1 sheep, and a flock of about 15 grey geese. There is, however, no farm smell or horseflies. There are excellent parks and lakes less than 30 minutes from the property. Stephanie and Mark, thank you guys so much for maintaining such a top-notch vacation property!

Wonderful Hosts, Beautiful Property!

You'll be hard-pressed to find a nicer couple than Marc and Stephanie. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and are more than hospitable. They truly make your stay one to remember and cherish. The carriage house is lovely, well-kept, and offers a rustic setting with modern amenities. The views are stunning and the farm is about as picturesque as can be. We cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay at this wonderful location in an absolutely beautiful part of Vermont. It was certainly hard to leave after several days in this tranquil spot, but we cannot wait to return and hope to make an annual trip to this perfect piece of the Northeast Kingdom.

Beautiful property, but some significant issues

There are a few issues we experienced that we wanted to pass along for those considering this rental: 1. Bathrooms: photos or descriptions of the bathrooms weren’t included in the listing. Due to the unusual size of the bathrooms (not being easily accessible for plus size or tall people) that these should absolutely be included in the listing, as it can cause a real issue for some people. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom was a real issue. The shower had mold on the mat and shower curtain and it appeared that it was not cleaned beforehand. 2. Excessive Bugs: during our stay we killed 10+ flies and 10+ lady bugs a day in the great room upstairs *alone*. We understand we were staying at a farm, so to a degree we could understand an extra presence of bugs around the house. But the degree we experienced the bugs was clearly due to a problem with a crack or opening somewhere in the house that allowed an outrageous amount of insects in throughout the day and night. 3. Water: there was a very strong and pervasive “rotten egg” smell from all the water sources (besides the filtered drinking water provided). 4. General cleanliness: While it’s a beautiful space with lots of character and charm, it was obvious the space was not sufficiently cleaned before our arrival. From a used/dirty coffee maker, hair on the shower floor, and general dust throughout the property. It left us feeling like we weren’t confident things had been sanitized and made ready for new guests

Very nice place - if you don’t mind firing up the wood stove every morning.

We very much enjoyed our stay and our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were nice and warm, and we rather enjoyed making a fire in the wood stove each morning. However it took an hour for the stove and the portable electric heater to heat the cold downstairs living/ dining area.

What a magical experience! Beautiful views. Lovely farm. Hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We really felt welcomed and cared for but had privacy at same time . Hope to return next year!

Enjoyable Weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend in a comfortable and rustic guesthouse. Relaxing with coffee while enjoying the view from our upstairs "picture window". The house had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen. Marc and Stephanie were gracious hosts and we hope to return.

Incredible Hospitality!

As a ski coach we spend upwards of 20 weekends/year on the road in vacation rentals. I can say that I have never had such amazing hospitality. We had an extremely rough travel scenario which resulted in our arriving at 2:30am on the morning of our first race. Luckily for us we were staying here because they made sure we had enough food to get through breakfast that morning. This lessened both our stress and maximized our sleep as we didn't have to try to find somewhere to eat! In addition, every morning, before our early departure to the race, the driveway was shoveled, sanded, and we were able to pull out easily. The entire experience was a joy and we would stay there again!

a lovely comfortable place

Marc and Stephanie have set up this converted barn to address almost any need so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and peaceful location. We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated having items to make breakfast :) It's not a place seeking to be a sterile hotel, but a cozy temporary home. We appreciated their hospitality and the chance to see this lovely part of Vermont. I hope we return!

Beautiful view, wonderful welcome and an amazing week.

This house is located in one of the most beautiful areas of New England. When you arrive it seems unassuming until you look behind the house and see the beautiful grass and the funny animals. Our daughter was enamored with Bobo and Lady (the donkeys), as well as the various sheep and geese and ducklings. And the garden mentioned in the listing is huge, nothing like we expected. We had wonderful fresh salads every day. The house itself was as expected. Comfortable and homey. The only issue was that the bathrooms are situated in two of the bedrooms, so if you have people staying in those bedrooms and you are in the third, you might want to be sure you get ready for bed before they do! Marc and Stephanie were very welcoming and helpful with anything that came up. And I love that they made it easy to compost and recycle. The beds are comfy and if the bathrooms are tiny, the views and the air of Vermont more than made up for it. A bonus, when Stephanie found out we were bringing a toddler, she had a baby gate and plug blockers available for us to use. Not everyone would go to that extra effort. The use of the grill was another bonus, as well as the chairs situated outside so we could take in the wonderful view as the sun set.

Super Charming Property in the NEK!

Spacious rental located on Marc and Stephanie's beautiful farm. Rustic, eclectic, and bohemian, this spot has a little something for everyone whether you plan on hiking the nearby sanctuary, catching a show at Bread and Puppet, or simply staying in and watching the sunset over the mountains. The view from the back window alone is worth the price of admission! Be sure to grab the best beer in the world at Hill Farmstead and a pizza from Parker Pies, both nearby. Lake Willoughby is truly spectacular with lots of hiking options. Do yourself a favor and chat with Marc and Stephanie while you're there. They're fascinating folks!

Amazing, beautiful retreat!

My husband and I spent 5 days here during a rainy memorial day weekend and still loved it. Super peaceful, beautiful view and great mattress! Quick drive to Lake Willoughby. Hope to be able to return.

A cozy charming getaway with amazing views and friendly hosts! We wish we lived here!

The cottage is clean and well equipped with everything you could need for cooking and relaxing with family or friends. We loved the hosts, who took great care to introduce us to the place and show us around. We also really loved the farm and adorable animals! The cottage is decorated so creatively and tastefully --feels like classic Vermont!

Amazing weekend getaway!!!

It's been about a week since our weekend at Stephanie's and Marc's guest house, got extremely busy and finally got some time to write a review. My friends and I had the worse time getting in and out of Vermont. It was snowing a lot heavier than we expected and got stuck in the snow a couple times. We messaged Stephanie and Marc and they came out to help us out. I have never come across a more gracious host in my HomeAway and airbnb experience. They provide you with the keys to the house upon arrival and give you a tour of the house. The guest house is extremely cozy,and the view from the main bedroom is amazing! Due to the heavy snow they even offered to extend our stay for no charge, which was beyond kind and unexpected. If you're planning on a winter weekend getaway you should definitely stay here. We ended up going to ski at Burke mountain. The mountain itself was great, once we were done sking they have a bar/ restaurant indoors. Thank you Steffanie and Marc for being so helpful and such amazing hosts!! You guys made our weekend so much better! Will definitely visit again! P.S: They have animals in the back that you can pet, hug and feed. We had such an amazing time!!

Nice home to stay

We had a good time in the house. The house was warm and cosy when we arrived and the table was set up ready for dinner. Stephanie and Marc were very pleasant and interesting hosts. They wanted us to have the best time we could during our stay. The large upstairs window was great to see the sunset over the mountains. We had a good time visiting the animals as well.

Another Wonderful Stay

This was the second time my wife and I stayed in Marc and Stephanie's beautiful guest house and just like the first time, we didn't want to leave. Not only is the house incredibly charming and cozy, and complete with everything you could ever want in a Vermont retreat, but the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and Marc and Stephanie are undoubtedly two of the nicest people you will ever meet. I always recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away and spend a loving vacation in Vermont. It truly is one of our favorite places to go and I can't say enough positive things about the guest house, the hosts, and the location.

Wonderful stay, quiet and comfortable

The two of us had a great time staying here with our dog. Stephanie and Marc were very accommodating, giving us tips on places to visit and eat, providing maps and guides and showing us how to use the wood stove and other items in the home. We had a great view of the farm and the mountains from the master bedroom, and the house is very comfortable. It was conveniently located to the places we wanted to visit, like the Bread and Puppet theater, Dog Mountain and Museum of Everyday Life. We would definitely recommend this place for others.
