I loved that you could see the waves of Gulf from the balcony, as well as a clear view of a pond. Was great waking up and having coffee out there. Short walk from unit to the beach.

Girls trip

We enjoyed our stay especially the pools and proximity to the beach. It was easy to locate our unit and onsite covered parking was appreciated. We arrived before our unit was ready and we were able to access the pools while we were waiting.

Unfortunately, Rose the host, knowingly rented out this unit to me and my family while battling a huge cockroach issue. She acknowledged that she had been trying to get it under control, but then scoffed at our insistence for pest control to come out and treat the unit immediately, all while citing that she had to pay more for same day treatment. My 2 boys were afraid that roaches were going to crawl on them while they were in bed and/or get in our food. No one should have to endure this while paying someone good money to spend their vacation in their unit. We contacted the resort and Rose was not on a regular schedule of pest control like other units were. Sadly, this experience completely ruined our time there as we couldn’t relax without worrying and trying to manage the gigantic cockroach issue! I do not recommend this as a place to stay at this time.

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Once the concern was brought to my attention, I took immediate action to arrange for a licensed pest control company. Although same-day service was difficult to obtain, I was able to schedule treatment within 24 hours by paying an additional emergency service fee. The issue has since been professionally treated and resolved, and additional preventive measures have been put in place. Regarding your request for a 50% refund for the inconvenience, I was not able to agree to a refund of that amount, because you and your family continued to have access to the property and its amenities during your stay while took immediate corrective action. I sincerely regret the inconvenience it caused. I take the cleanliness and comfort of my guests very seriously. I am confident that the actions taken have fully addressed the issues and will help ensure a comfortable experience for future guests.

We had to book this last minute due to another house canceling on us 24 hours before we were set to leave. This one wasn’t quite big enough for our needs but we made it work. The pool was amazing, being so close to the beach was awesome! The only real downsides were there wasn’t enough toilet paper, or trash bags. The dishwasher won’t work, and we did see several cockroaches in the kitchen area. We didn’t complain because we were just thankful to have something last minute on 4th of July.
