Peace in the woods

A delightful space ( including patio) with everything you would need. Nice little touches too. Very restful, just what I was hoping for. Also easy distance to Qualicum town, beach and other places to see and enjoy like Milner Gardens - highly recommended.

Clean and friendly

The cottage style atmosphere was cute and the facility was absolutely spotless! Nothing was within walking distance but to drive to town took no more than 5 minutes. I would recommend this Vrbo to those who are fine not being on the water or in town.

Beautiful property

Enjoyed the quiet setting in the country, but still very close to everything. The unit was very well equipped and very nicely decorated. Faye and Don were excellent hosts.

The suite had all the little touches you would need, from robes to a great movie and game selection, Faye and Don thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We'd highly recommend this place and would come back next time we're in the area.

Delightful

Absolutely delightful stay! Faye thought of everything to make our stay perfect! So peaceful and quiet while just minutes from town. We enjoyed our own private area outside. Couldn’t be any better!!

Theres noting to dislike abiut this property. The unit had everything you need and more....ie delicious banana bread. Oh and a library! Thank you Faye & Don!

Everything was clear, instructions before hand and in the suite. Banana bread was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we ever need accommodation in the Qualicum Beach area in the future.

We so enjoyed staying at Country Blue. It was like staying at home away from home. The hosts thought of everything to make sure we felt comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. The location was absolutely wonderful we were out in the country yet just less then a 5 minute drive to Qualicum Beach and central location to Cathedral Forest. Close to Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay. Thanks for having us. 5 stars plus

Tranquil Retreat at Country Blue - Highly Recommended!

During my father's recent stay at Country Blue, he enjoyed a truly peaceful and rejuvenating experience. This charming retreat offered everything he needed for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. The tranquil surroundings and calm atmosphere allowed my father to relax and unwind fully. The amenities at Country Blue were top-notch. The well-appointed rooms were thoughtfully designed and equipped with modern conveniences, ensuring a pleasant stay. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a touch of coziness to the experience. One of the highlights of the stay was the attentive and friendly service. The hosts, while keeping a respectful distance, were responsive to my father's needs and ensured he had a seamless stay. Sewing Get Away

Two life long friends getting together to sew. Great space. We brought our own folding sewing tables. Lots of electrical outlets, great lighting and space. Very well equipped. Perfect for two. One of us had the bedroom, the other slept on the sofa bed.

Nice quiet place to stay

Clean & quiet. Hideabed is quite uncomfortable but worked fine for kids. Really nice couple that run the place. No kitchen or laundry, but that was made known in the advertisement. No surprises. Really nice place close to Qualicum.

Simply the best ❤️

We loved everything about Country Blue, it was spotless with lovely decor. So much thought and care has gone into this place to make it a great stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The special touches provided by Faye were both surprising and endearing. After a tiring journey we were delighted to find cream and sparkling water in the fridge and also a loaf of delicious banana bread waiting for us. Lovely suite for a weekend getaway

My partner and I enjoyed a weekend stay at this lovely property and we were very happy with the communication, check-in, and property amenities/condition. We would highly recommend this suite for anyone wanting to explore along Highway 4 as it is a quick 5 minute drive to get going!

Fantastic stay

A hidden gem off of the beaten path. The suite was absolutely spotless, amenities were all that we needed and the bed/pillows were so comfortable (a very nice end to travel days). The hosts were top notch and very very good at communicating, we will definitely be staying at this property again.

A beautiful property with a great respect for plant life

Was awesome to see they care a lot about the yard. The bed room was perfect for us and the pull out couch worked great for our two young kids.

Comfort in the woods

Comfortable bed. Lovely patio. Close to town but far enough way to see lots of stars. Faye was very accommodating and left us some wonderful banana bread.

Wonderful Country Blue

We had a 4-night stay at Country Blue suite. Convenient location, good suite size, well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and much more. The suite was spotless clean, fresh and welcoming, it is also very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the barbecue and outside area. Kids liked this place so much😊 ! There's a complete serenity in the area, lots of fresh air, and wonderful garden. Faye and Don are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely choose it again!

Love the country setting in this neighbourhood. It’s peaceful, pretty and great for a morning trail run. I enjoy sipping my morning coffee while enjoying the view of Mt Arrowsmith. As a new retiree, I’m looking forward to creating a pleasant retreat for guests. My husband and I are always making little improvements on the property and we are ready to share our space with others.
