Come enjoy the sunset at our little piece of heaven steps away from Northport Village. A unique old boathouse restored into a quaint one bedroom/one bathroom with pull-out sofa bed. Full small kitchen, out door patio with grill, a newly installed putting green and old shed converted into a bar. You just might not want to leave!

We loved our stay! The host was wonderful and thoughtful. The home was beautifully stocked with a stunning view. Arriving late on a cold, windy night to a warm house with the lights on was such a welcome touch. We’d happily stay again.

Amazing Location

This is the second time we have stayed at the property and once again it was such a relaxing time with the amazing outside space the location is truly special.

Just a fantastic and fun space. Attention to detail was especially appreciated — we were having a few family members over the night before Thanksgiving and saw that the fire pit was already set up and ready to go — and the Sonos sound system allowed some nice background music. Check-in process super smooth. Parking was easy. Most importantly, fantastic scenes of the water, the boats, every morning and every evening!

Our stay was absolutely magical. Such a perfectly cozy space full of outdoor amenities. It was terribly cold during our stay, but we nevertheless enjoyed watching the sunsets at the dock, hitting a few balls around on the putting green, warming up at the fire pit and we can’t say enough about the bar! Just fantastic.The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed. And A quick walk to town made this the ideal location. Janine was friendly and communicative and made us feel so welcome. We are looking forward to our next stay. Thanks so much for everything Janine.

Owners take great pride and care of this special place. Everything was clean, well thought out and perfect for a short stay. Great communication with owners. Many steep steps to get actual vrbo.

Most convenient and beautifully located

We loved our stay, everything as promised, was available and in place. The location just begs one to stay at this charming boathouse and spend all one’s time admiring the boats in the harbor. At the same time it is so close to Main St of the Village and to a charming breakfast location, Copenhagen. Our thanks to the owners who messaged us often to ensure we felt at home.

Long weekend getaway

This amazing restored boathouse property was just perfect! The attention to detail made each and every facet just so inviting. This weekend was the first time I had traveled back to where I was born and raised in over 30 years was the perfect place to rest my head. Cannot wait to be back, thank you again Steve and Janine

Wonderful Northport

We had a wonderful time in Northport and this property was so charming! It is very unique, warm, cozy and met all of our needs and then some. The views and ambiance of the property are exceptional. Each morning we had coffee on the dock watching the birds and boats come and go. Janine was a delight to deal with. Thanks again Janine.

Even Better Than Advertised

We stayed at the Boathouse in Northport to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. This is by far the best rental property we have ever booked! From communication with out host prior to booking to the day we checked out, Steve and Janine helped make our stay absolutely perfect! This is one of those rare listings that is as great as advertised. From the property itself to being only steps from dinning and shopping, you won’t find a better listing on the North Shore!

We booked this gem for the Ryder Cup. It was spectacular - from the harbor views to putting green and amazing bar! We wound up doing takeout from restaurants as the view couldn’t compare to anything in town! We have talked up this spot to many of our friends for future rentals. Easy walk in to town and shops. Parking was never a problem on the street. The bedroom is located on the upper floor but bathroom is unfortunately downstairs in main area. We were fine with it but just noting.Also loved how you could open the garage door/window on main floor to bring everything outside in.

“Cool House”

Terrific place! Best views from upstairs, downstairs and even the stairs. The owners have knocked it out of the park! Great full functioning outdoor bar, fire pit. putting green, on the water, marvelous sunsets! It has American history through and through. Clean, uncluttered, well thought out. Northport is terrific! All the best of America! Stars and Stripes! Very well done Janine and Steve!

Perfect Spot

This was a really neat spot. We had everything we needed and more. The whole place was thoughtfully put together and Janine was super responsive. We were close to the village and its cute shops including the bakery and the diner. Both are recommended. I wished we had more time to. settle in and enjoy it. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Great location and amazing hosts!

Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, proactively reaching out to see if we needed anything. The property was in a GREAT location, very clean, organized and had everything that we needed. We loved the putting green, being on the water, fire pit and the very cool bar! We’re happy to have found this rental and hope to book again when we are visiting relatives in the area!

The backyard at this cozy cottage is unbeatable. We loved staying here for a weekend away from the city. Northport town is adorable and just 2 short blocks away.

Absolutely amazing & perfectly perfect

Coming back “home” to the north shore for the first time in a decade was the second best part of our trip. The beautifully renovated boathouse and the property and the location was the best part. Who knew
