Lovely, quaint, tasteful property in nice suburban setting. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped, about 1.6 miles from the little town of Huntington Station, where there are shops and restaurants and where it's easy to stroll. The host was quite responsive, although everything was so well set up, we didn't have to contact her too much. She was very approachable and quick to respond. Wonderful experience overall!

This house worked perfectly for our needs for 5 days. The bedrooms were all comfortable with AC units that worked well and fit our needs. The kitchen was well stocked which was helpful. We also enjoyed watching movies on the TV and enjoyed using the outdoor area with the grill! Would definitely come back!

We were in the area with another couple for a long weekend and Amy’s place was perfect for us. It was accurately described and had plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen was well stocked so we enjoyed both home cooked meals and the nearby restaurants. The neighborhood was pretty and quiet. The backyard was great. Check in was simple and Amy was super responsive. We’d definitely stay here again should we visit the region again.

Lovely, comfortable, clean, fully equipped split-level family home allows your group both room to be together …and apart . Gracious hosts were always quick to respond. Enchanting Fenced yard with fire pit. Kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels This is a home, not a staged-for-rent space. Guests feel welcomed and comfortable.

Thanksgiving Back Home

Great place where we got to be close to family in Huntington. The home felt homey and was very comfortable for our us to stay in with other family members from out of town. It’s close to many things, especially the LIRR. I would highly recommend making this part of your stay on Long Island.

Bridal Shower Weekend

Great family home

We had a wonderful home away from home stay at Evergreen. We were visiting from the UK for a family wedding in Huntington and the house was a cosy escape and great location. Easy access to train station for a day trip to the city, lots of space in the house for adults and kids and a lovely back garden. We did get noise from trains at night but otherwise the area was very quiet and residential. Thank you Amy for a lovely stay.

Retreat for an Out of State Wedding

If you ever need to travel to the Huntington Station area for a wedding or other multi day event, this is the place to go. We were close to the church, the rehearsal dinner, and the reception. Unlike staying at a hotel, it was the perfect place to unwind between events. Comfortable beds, places to kick back and relax, and a nice backyard area as well. We would return if we need to stay in the area again.

Lovely, well-appointed home

What an incredible place! We absolutely loved staying at this well-appointed home! Clean, with the engaging and eclectic decor of people who appreciate the arts. The books and prints are just lovely. Incredibly comfortable beds (especially the king) and a well-kept backyard with landscaping that enhanced the peacefulness of the location. Amy could not have been a better communicator--so accommodating and helpful. We loved it and will return when we're in the area visiting family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
