Paradise by the lake - Lonestar Lakehouse

The house has been luxuriously set up for a relaxing time. You get to enjoy nature/ lake views from each space of the house. The feel created is a Texan farmhouse. Modern luxury married with a touch of old Texas. It has 2 large decks with fire pits and lounging chairs to enjoy. The only view from the house is of nature and water. The seclusion and privacy allows you to disconnect and relax. The access to water is through a luscious green grass slope. Enjoy the wildlife and birds (eagles, owls, turkey) as you walk down the slope. The place has large indoor and outdoor dining table for fun filled family meals with a propane grill outside. One deck has a propane fire pit and one deck has a wood fire pit (wood available to purchase at the property). There is plenty outdoor seating for some great family/ friends moments.There are several cozy spaces in the house to relax, read or spending time with loved ones. There are 2 large TVs and a game room with a bar to enjoy with company and have a fun time. The house also has a foosball table and several board games to enjoy. My favorite part of the house is the porch swing bed. It is amazing comfortable, large and have breathtaking views. For me, sitting on it and swinging slowly, just slows down the world for me. Almost each bedroom has a direct access to the porch and also direct views of the lake. Waking up in the morning to these lake views are some of the most amazing moments we enjoy at the house. Did we forget to say hammock and picnic table by the lake and kayaks for your enjoyment?

WATER ACTIVITIES :The lake water is great for water activities like fishing, swimming and Kayaking. We have 2 single Kayaks at the house that you are welcome to use. A waiver need to be signed to enjoy this activity.

FIRE ACTIVITIES: Get cozy by the fire on cool evenings! There is a propane fire table to enjoy.

There are also wood burning fire pit outside and a fireplace in the living room. Firewood for the same is available to PURCHASE at the property.

TV: There are two large TVs for fun family time. There are lot of basic channels available for free. You can also log-in to your favorite apps like Netflix, hulu etc using your info.

SENSITIVE SEPTIC TANK. This property is in the countryside with septic tank system . Mindful use of water and careful Trash disposal is a MUST! Without adequate precautions the tank can overflow and spill.

SAFETY: The property is an oasis with a lot of nature and wildlife. There can be all kinds of poisonous bugs and plants. We strongly recommend use of shoes all times outside and in water.

POTENTIAL NOISE ALERT: The hill opposite to the property is owned by US army. Space X also have their sites near by. You might see firearm testing or hear gunshots from that area. The skylight is beautiful but the gut shots can be startling.

Great Stay and Smooth Process

We had a great stay at this VRBO, the only issue we had was with the grill (some burners did not work, had trouble cooking meat to right temp). Check-in process was easy and friendly. I highly recommend this stay.

Fantastic property, the rooms and common spaces are all large and well appointed. Very clean and setup well for entertaining. And the main level patio in unbelievable to watch the sunset! Great place!

Retreat by the lake

10 of us stayed at this beautiful house for a spiritually focused retreat. The house was beautiful and spacious, the views from the porch were stunning with plenty of seating in the rooms and beds were nice and comfortable. I would definitely return and I’m grateful for our host Who was prompt in responding always!

What a beautiful time we had. It was a weekend of rest and recharging. Much needed! The house was beautiful. The view was magnificent. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful time! This house is huge with lots of space and rooms! The outside areas are also amazing! We had a wonderful time with our friends and their children. The house was clean and worth every penny. The lake is very, very low. The waterline is much lower and further away from the house than the original photos. We just changed our plans around some and rented a boat and captain for the day, instead of hanging out at the lake, at the house. We would for sure rent this home again!

Relaxing girlfriend weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the Lonestar Lakehouse. The view is spectacular from the covered porch, and had it not been 100 degrees this weekend, we could have enjoyed it more than just early mornings and late nights. Loved the seating in all areas to accommodate us all gathering together!

Beautiful Home!

We met family here for Easter and my MIL’s 60th birthday. From the start it was fantastic. Easy check in, easy to find, clean upon arrive. We loved the views and amenities (blankets on the porch was a perk for chilly mornings!). It was the perfect place for all 11 of us to gather, with tons of room for more! We spent a lot of time enjoying meals on the porch, and time down at the lake kayaking and playing. It was better than we could have imagined and we would highly recommend this lovely home to other families.

Gorgeous Views!!!

This is the ultimate lake house with spectacular views! It was perfect for a large gathering of people (we had 11). The house was very cozy and comfortable (including all the beds and the A/C worked great for such a large house) and was well stocked with everything you need for your visit. It rained both days we were there, so we didn’t get to get on the lake (like we hoped), but the extra large covered patio made up for it, where we could still be outside and enjoy the views (and the rain). Great place / great time!
