#8 Caddo Hide Out-Uncertain Lodge and Inn

Uncertain Lodge and Inn is a local, family owned Inn, located on a picturesque piece of land on beautiful Caddo Lake. #8 Caddo Hide Out is waterfront, with your room directly facing the water, allowing you to walk outside of you room, to immediately enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful view.
#8 Caddo Hide Out offers a queen size bed, a twin bed, and a bathroom, which is very nice and comfortable for an individual, a couple, or a small family, looking for a cozy place to get away - this is one of our most rented rooms!
All linens are provided, including sheets, comforters, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We provide a 2-burner electric cook top for your convenience, however, you must bring your own cooking utensils. We also have a very welcoming pavilion with picnic tables, 3 charcoal grills (charcoal and lighter fluid not provided), a smoker, and a full size refrigerator for your use. This area is great for bringing groups together for dinner, entertaining, or just for relaxing and unwinding.
#8 Caddo Hide Out also has a full-size refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker (with coffee provided). Small bars of soap are also provided for your use.
All of the rooms at Uncertain Lodge and Inn are non-smoking, however, you are welcome to smoke outside on the premises.
Uncertain Lodge and Inn is located next door to a popular boat launch, Johnson's Ranch Marina.
Time spent at Uncertain Lodge and Inn is sure to give you a relaxing escape, from grilling, fishing, boating, and playing games in the lake front yard. We also provide canoes and kayaks for our guests, free of charge. With Caddo Lake being a 25,400-acre lake, you will never run out of memory making activities. You can expect great fun, with friends and family, making you want to stay longer with every visit.

Upon arrival, your door will be unlocked for you, and your key will be on the table for you. While there is no office on premises, we are available if you need anything at all!

There are no dishes or pots and pans. The microwave is of good size and a two burner cook stove is provided. Plus grills outside. I recommend you take extra towels because it is so humid there they don't dry between showers. Dish soap provided but not bath soap. Full size refrigerator but check what the temp it's set on when you arrive. Ours was set on coldest and froze all our produce. Beds are excellent and real nice sheets. Large tv and wifi. No Internet signal out there in caddo area. Good air-conditioning. A wonderful access to the lake with kayaks, canoes and gear provided. Cafe next door open Thurs - Sat. Pontoon boat rides available next door but schedule in advance. Well worth the money! On the whole we were pleased with this comfortable place on the lake and will stay again.

The room looked cute as pictured BUT the property was unkept. We were told that check in was at 3 and we were there at 3:15 and the room was not touched by house keeping. The patio was scattered with trash from critters. The room is dark with only 1 small window and a light bulb out. The microwave is filthy. The back patio needed cleaning badly.For canoeing there was trails close by and the host Keith was helpful and nice but sorry we will not be back.

5 out of 5 stars on everything! The owner Tina is so friendly and welcoming. The location if perfect if you want to be right on the water like we were. Nice grill area and good for kids. Awesome place overall! We will be back.

Really Beautiful place all around.

The cabin was clean and all that was promised. We loved it. Mrs. Talley was very nice. There was a wonderful dock, canoes, kayaks, and wildlife! We had a wonderful, relaxing time. We are coming back! Even Sasquatch!

Could use a little maintenance.

No smoke alarm, pillows were pads, had to purchase two pillows. Window blinds were terrible. Door was terrible to open and close. Mattress should be trashed.The area was great in all regards.Wouldn't book the same room with out up grades.

Nice room on the bayou

A nice room to rest on the bayou. They have a canoe and kayaks for guest to use. This was an added bonus for me. Tina came by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing beauty and friendly people

The Cabins are in an incredible location, since Caddo lake is so unique. Nowhere else seems to have the same lush lake as Caddo. The owner was very friendly and hospitable.

Great waterfront

The room was better than the picture! Decorated very cute/colorful. Location was great. Marina right next door but noise buffered by distance and tree line. Very convenient. Asked questions when I made reservation that were not answered on line but was contacted a few days before our stay and communication after that was good. Sheets were dirty and not changed when we got there but they said that housekeeper had been fired and they changed our sheets immediately. There was a loud drunk family that rented the lodge next door to the single rooms who partied outside until the wee hours of the morning but that wasn’t the owner’s fault. People can be so inconsiderate sometimes! Managers (or owners) were very nice and accommodating.

Very nice location on the lake! The host are very nice and kind! Rooms are very reasonable for the price. We had a great weekend with all the guests and the host was very accommodating! Thank you for the Burgers and drinks!

Leanne and I both grew up in Marshall Texas - in fact, we grew up directly across the street from one another. Our friendship started early on. Leanne left town to pursue a degree in nursing, and I remained in town, pursuing my dream of living on Caddo Lake. I have been to many lakes over the years, but I have always had a passion and love for Caddo Lake. I moved here to Caddo Lake in 2020, where I began making my dreams come true. The only thing missing, was my dream girl to share in the experience with me. Leanne and I rekindled our friendship long distance, as she was living in the DFW area. In April 2025, we married on our property here on Caddo Lake, and she and our son Parker, now call Caddo Lake "our home", and we enjoy making memories every day!
We look forward to meeting all of our guests, and helping you create memories as well!

Our property is located in one of the most popular areas of the lake, offering guests the most optimal experience. Leanne, Parker, and I live a half mile away, allowing us to visit with the guest and share the history of Caddo Lake everyone.
