Perfect Vacation Spot - One bedroom, one bath condo with huge wrap around balcony with expansive views and perfect breezes. Quiet and peaceful, this condo is located on a hilltop overlooking the hills of the East End of the island and Lindquist Beach and beyond to St. John. 2 on-site restaurants, on-site shuttle service during the day (and into the evening now for the restaurants), on-site guest laundry, on-site free parking and beautiful walking trails. Point Pleasant is conveniently situated minutes from Red Hook, Coki Beach, Lindquist Beach and Sapphire Beach.

*****Please note, there are several sets of stairs to be navigated around the property, to the restaurants and pools and including to the front door of our place!

We send out directions to you and a welcome email giving you our favorites!

Great stay

The location was great. I would advise a car rental. The terrain is full of hills. Your on top of a mountain. There are two restaurants on the property and it is very well kept. The view from the balcony was nice but there are no elevators. Some apartments have more steps than others. Food delivery is scarce so plan ahead. No sugar for coffee or cream so plan for that as well. Great stay overall. The place was clean.

Lovely Lush Mountainside Retreat

We absolutely loved Point Pleasant. Hosts went above & beyond with informative tips. They even stocked the fridge with snacks, which was a nice treat. We enjoyed the nature trail very much, not to be missed. The vision Gunther Pfanner had for creating Point Pleasant as a place for ‘man and nature to live in harmony’ really comes through. We loved getting our exercise on the hills and steps up to our mountainside hideaway. The ease of the well positioned restaurants on the property came in handy the day we arrived, before we could get our bearings. We are having our last island meal at the beach bar at Emerald Beach Resort and can thank Xaverie for that excellent recommendation! Highly recommend!

Wonderful property and stay

We had never been to St. Thomas. We decided on the general area, and then looked for properties. We selected this D3 condo at Point Pleasant, and it was a wonderful experience. Fabulous view, elegant furnishing, great wrap-around porch, quiet, and easy to get around. Our main concerns heading in were (1) whether or not to rent a car, and (2) whether staying at a higher hilltop location would limit our mobility. We decided not to rent a car, and for us, it was a great decision. We didn't travel extensively on-island, so we relied on taxis to get us to sites and shopping and beaches. Taxis were readily accessible, and we figured we saved literally hundreds of dollars over our 10-day stay by relying on taxis rather than renting a car. As for our concern of getting around from our hilltop location, the Point Pleasant on-resort shuttle was so responsive that this was no issue at all. It would have been a steep walk up and down, but it was easy to call the shuttle, and I don't think we had to ever waited more than 5 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. We used it often to get back and forth between our condo and the Point Pleasant office facility where we picked up a taxi. We walked several times from the Resort to Coki Beach. Coki Beach isn't for everyone, but we found it delightful - it's very good beach, and more local than a lot of the beaches, though plenty of island vacationers go there as well. All in all, a great experience and a really great condo!

Lots of extras for your down time. Liked that there were beach chairs, umbrella & colors to use. Wasn’t thrilled with the walking distance from parking area or the steps down to the unit. Made things difficult with luggage etc. Although there was a driveway it was very tight hard to turn a Jeep around. Most times it was blocked by golf carts.

Great spot for a getaway

We had a great time on our visit to St. Thomas and having such an easy experience with this rental was a big reason for that. Everything that was provided was very useful and the tips from the owner were awesome!

Beautiful clean one bedroom in resort

Great views of St John and Smith Bat. Close to Sapphire beach and Colin Beach. Nicely stocked kitchen, and necessities such as beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, towlels, shampoo, soap and cleaning products. Very pleasant apartment and would visit again.
