We had a great month of August enjoying the beach. The property is exactly as described.

A beautiful, clean and comfortable house, a short walk to the beach to a grocery market and to restaurants. Nice views of the ocean from the top floor and a comfortable evening breeze even on the warmest days. Great open top floor kitchen, dining and living room for family time.

MB Comfort

We had a wonderful vacation in a beautiful spot with all the comforts of home AND views of the ocean! Our hosts were lovely. They were very communicative, accessible and the property was very organized and well equipped. The location is ideal.

Cozy Place and Great Location

Owners are welcoming and accommodating. House is clean and organized. Kitchen and spacious and well-stocked. Plenty of windows to open and enjoy the ocean breeze. Parking is easy and the strand/beach are just a two-minute walk. Would highly recommend and we will be staying here on return visits to Manhattan Beach.

Wonderful Home in MB

We stayed at the property a little over a month and loved it. It is in the perfect location (south Manhattan Beach) with only a block and a half to the beach/Strand (about a 4 minute walk) and perched on a street hill that affords the property ocean views from both sides of the house through the living room/dinning room and the kitchen. The neighborhood is extremely quiet which is nice. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen well-appointed. Amy and Bob were excellent hosts with helpful tips and always available. We would highly recommend the home and plan to stay there again.

In 2002 we moved to Mahattan Beach CA, from our home town of Seattle. We raised two sons there and love its amazing beach urban lifestyle and setting. In 2018 we bought a home in Ojai CA with a charming private 2 bedroom cottage that we offer as a monthly furnished rental.

We fell in love with Ojai on our first visit in 2003 and over the years we were drawn back seeking its magical peaceful setting of open space, trees, mountains, valley and its natural beauty. We see our home in Ojai as a long term home where we will be spending more and more time with family and friends.

Amy is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in LA South Bay, she's also a member of the LA Mayor's Crisis Response Team and a the Disaster Mental Health team with the Red Cross.

Bob is an active board member of a portfolio growth companies focused on technology, commerce and brands as well as he serves as Chairman of the not-for-profit Good360.
