The Hatch House

The Hatch house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home on the Steinhatchee river that sleeps 8 adults. The house has a private boat ramp and private 70-foot long by 10-foot wide deep water dock. Perfect for scallop season, fishing tournaments, or just getting out on the river. The home is family-friendly, and there is plenty of privacy.

We know your pets are part of the family. In order to protect our guests, pets are not allowed.

The kitchen is fully stocked, and the home is fully furnished.
The river views from the wrap around porch are stunning!

If you need to work away from home, we now have high-speed internet!

Fantastic spot to stay with easy river access allowing you to bypass the rush at the public ramps! Would absolutely stay again. Very well stocked house with all the amenities.

Fantastic place to stay! The house has tons of amenities, plenty of parking, a private boat launch that makes it easy to avoid the crowds, and a huge dock. The views are incredible, and it’s a perfect spot for scalloping. There’s a longer idle out to the Gulf, but it’s well worth it for the peace, quiet, and escape from the busy public ramps. We’d definitely stay here again!

This is a great house!! Lots of room, very clean and comfortable. Boat ramp in yard is very convenient - don’t have to wrestle with the public ramp and parking. Hope to stay here again.

We stay in Steinhatchee a few times a year. This was a nice secluded place to stay. Everything was clean and as described. We would stay here again!

House was perfect! We were there for the weekend celebrating my daughter’s wedding. The house was spacious, clean, open and sunny and gorgeous views. Couldn’t have been any better.

This place on the Steinhatchee River was everything I hoped for—private, safe, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I especially loved spending time on the porch. It was the perfect getaway, and I definitely want to come back!

Fish ready

The property was amazing. Had its own boat dock never had to take the boats out of the water till we were ready to leave. I had a wonderful time. was great place to stay we'll do it again.

Perfect home for our 2 families! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean and spacious. The dock was great for our 2 boats. We had a great trip. We will be back.

Such a nice place on the river with only woods across from you. Well stocked kitchen, cozy furniture, boat ramp and super long dock on property makes it perfect for a scalloping or fishing trip with your own boat! Great host, communicates quickly with you!

Dan and Heather have been coming to Steinhatchee for years to go fishing and scalloping. We decided to buy a place of our own so we can spend more time here. we are not ready for full time so we decided to share it with others so they can make memories as well. I hope you all enjoy the Hatch House as much as we do!

The Hatch House has some of the best views on the river. Across the river from us is a lush wooded forest and wetlands owned by the state. We have a boat ramp on the property so you don't have to wait at the ramp. There is room for your trailer too! We have a 30 foot floating dock with plenty of water in any tide.
