We've stayed at this property multiple times, and each time it provides the peace and quiet our souls need while allowing access to fun on the water. Perfect combination.
Fabulous house on a quaint little quiet cove in Lake Norman. The house was well-appointed with tons of amenities. Our kids loved the paddleboards, kayaks, and water guns and the parents loves the fenced yard and upstairs bunk rooms. We had a great stay!!

Thank you, Robin for the lover review. We would love to see you come back.
This is our 6th year coming to Lake Norman. This house has by far been the best. Great area to swim, great amenities, wonderful house, and accommodating owners. Absolutely loved our time there!
We rent on the lake each spring and this house was a crowd favorite. The host was extremely helpful with a few questions we had leading up to our trip and once we arrived everything was as described. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and lots of memories were made in the large kitchen and on the cozy sun porch!
Amazing home on a quiet tucked in cove of Lake Norman. Most accomodating host for a beautifully decorated & perfectly furnished home
Cant wait to planniur next trip
We had a fabulous time staying at License to Chill. The house was beautiful and clean and spacious, with plenty of room to enjoy the large living room or eat inside or outside. We took advantage of the hot tub, kayaks and standup paddle boards, private dock, grill, and even the water gun arsenal. Checking in and out was no problem. Thanks to Linda for a great stay!

So happy you guys enjoyed your trip! Hopefully we will see you again next year.
This is our third stay at License to Chill, which tells you something! We have loved every stay. The host is VERY responsive, and the place is beautiful and is on a peaceful cove. While there the power and internet went out due to a storm, and when the power came back on but the internet did not we contacted the host and Kerry was there within 15 minutes to help resolve the issue. Highly recommend staying there.
This is our fifth summer renting on Lake Norman. This was the best house by far. Great location on the lake, easy docking of our boat, clean, well decorated, and all the amenities one could ask for. The owners really pamper their guests. Easy to communicate with the owners! It was a wonderful week at this house!

Thank you so much Linda. We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed lake house on Lake Norman! The home had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable week. All of our guests raved about how comfortable the beds were, especially the mattresses, which made for a great night’s sleep after long days on the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cookware, making it easy to prepare meals together. We especially appreciated the spacious refrigerator, which had plenty of room for all our food and cold drinks. The dock was absolutely perfect for our rental boat and made getting out on the lake a breeze. From start to finish, this home made our vacation easy, comfortable, and fun. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this lovely lakefront getaway!
The property is very spacious, comfortable, inviting and feels like home. They thought of every thing you may need (high chair, pack n' play, offer brand new pontoon to rent, expansive kitchen), covering the big and small details. Decor is fresh, bright and comfortable and oh that porch is delightful! The owners are responsive, friendly and very easy to work with. Highly recommend for a family and friends celebration!
This property was perfect for our family. The family room and kitchen was large enough to accommodate us sitting down for dinner and watching TV in the evening. The water and dock were beautiful and they had everything we needed for our trip. Most important was the fact that they provided things that most don't such as shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, honey and basic staples. we would definately book again. It was just as described!
Wonderful stay!
Better than the pictures. Appreciated how well stocked and equipped this house is. It had everything. Touches we loved: marshmallow for the firepit (and roasting forks), kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards, complete kitchen supplies including condiments, spices, and every gadget you may want.
Nicely appointed. Freshly renovated. We were extremely comfortable (all 3 generations).
Thanks for sharing your house.

You guys were superb guests! Hope to see you again!
License to Chill was a perfect family gathering vacation home. We LOVED the screened-in porch -- we sat outside every night and even enjoyed a few naps on the cozy couch. The home was set up perfectly for 2 families. We loved the large gourmet kitchen and large family room. The home is located in a quiet cove, which is perfect for children playing in the lake or out on the paddle boards. We enjoyed having a boat at the property and spent most of the time on the gorgeous lake. The home was very well appointed and exceeded our expectations. The property manager was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with.

Thank you for the lovely review. Hope to see you again!
We traveled to NC to visit our daughter over the Easter Holiday. This home was exceptional in every aspect. The weather was perfect and we were able to take advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards. Grilling was easy for meals and the fire pit was great S'mores. We did not use the hot tub while we were there, but it looked very clean well-kept. The only downside was a message we received after booking about optional boat rental. We were interested, but the boat wasn't there. And when we asked about local rental suggestions, we didn't receive a response. Other than that, it was an excellent trip and we'd definitely stay there again!

I’m so sorry about the boat rental. I thought the link to the boat rental didn’t go through. Sorry again.
This house was beautiful and we had a wonderful family vacation here. The house is updated nicely, clean, and an all around great place to stay. The owners have put a lot of thought into what renters may need during their stay and there's so many nice touches. From the welcome basket that greets you when you check in (which was a breeze!) to the extra toiletries and coffee supplies in the bathrooms to the shed filled with water guns, they have thought of so many great things to put your stay "over the top." The property itself has a huge yard, which was fenced in and really nice for the dogs we brought along, and has a great deck with extra water toys like paddleboards and kayaks that our kids loved using. We had to communicate a few times with the owners and they always responded in a timely fashion and were very easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about the time we spent at this house. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Lake Norman getaway!

Thank you Great guests make our job so much easier and more pleasant! We hope to see you again.
My husband, daughter, son in law and three young grandsons chose to vacation at lake Norman. When looking for a Vrbo the beautiful screened porch, covered boat dock, and dog friendly home looked like a great choice. It was so much more!
The totally remodeled home offered beautiful interiors with so many small luxuries offered by the hosts like coffee stations in the kitchen and both masters , and soaps, shampoos and conditioners in each bathroom. Outdoors the yard was spacious and fenced; the dock was great for swimming , kayaking and paddle boarding ( 2 of each supplied as well as beach towels and life jackets); the “aqua arsenal” offered the little boys hours of water gun fights.; the fire pit gave us two nights of making s’mores with supplies offered by our hosts! We rented the brand new pontoon for three days of tubing on the lake which was fantastic family fun.
It was a wonderful week of family time in a beautiful place.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are just so happy that you had such wonderful bonding time!😁
We needed a relaxing vacation, and this was it! Over the last 8 months my wife and I have lost two parents, we almost lost another to COVID, and the fourth parent is not doing well even now, so it has been a rough stretch for us, and we needed some time away as a family but in a place that was also close to our parents. This was it! My wife arrived at this house 15 minutes before I did. When I arrived, I was greeted with "We are NEVER leaving! I am so happy I could almost cry". The place turned out to be better than expected, and was exactly what we needed. Very well appointed, well stocked with everything needed and then some, beautiful views, relaxing location with Lake access (but not a bunch of lake traffic), and my son even caught a few fish from the dock, so the fishing is even good!
