Savour the views of the lake and mountains from the private dock mere steps away from the spacious lawn surrounded by beautiful mature larch and birch trees. Get reacquainted with family and friends on the huge wraparound deck with gas BBQ or challenge them to a game of pool. Don’t forget about ending your day by soaking in the 7 person hot tub. Located in a quiet family location.

All properties are equipped with decibel monitoring software. Our neighbours would appreciate you respecting our zero-tolerance policy to noise complaints and the quiet time rules being respected. Due to the new regulations at Tie Lake, capacity cannot exceed 10 total guests or fines will occur. Max. 6 parking spots and no street parking allowed.

Beautiful property on a picturesque lake. The views were breathtaking, and the place was as advertised. We enjoyed bowing and using the Blackstone on the deck. Lots of outdoor seating areas and opportunities to enjoy the view.

Amazing Stay and Location

Staying at The Lazy Bear was amazing. Such a beautiful place and so well appointed. From the view of the mountains and lake to the deer walking past us while lounging in the hot tub,we just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. 40 minutes to Fernie and 50 to Kimberly. Perfect spot for a ski vacation. Must be so beautiful in the summer as well.

Gorgeous group retreat

Clean and incredibly well laid out. Perfect for four couples or a group. Stunning views, large common areas with fireplace and hot tub and very comfortable beds. Private and calm— we saw a deer! But close enough to Fernie!

Great Stay in Tie

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and will be staying there again. My only complaint is the cleaning fee is far too egregious. With this more in line with other properties, we would be staying here far more often. Great location on a little piece of paradise.

Sledding Trip March 2025

The place is beautiful, clean and well stocked. Could have used a little more paper towel and garbage bags but that’s such a minor thing with all the amenities. Sledders beware.. If your pulling trailers longer than 16’ your going to have issues getting turned around and up the hill out. Thank god for it was spring conditions or we would have had to park on the Main Road or chain up to get in and out. Sled decks and small trailers will be fine.. The place would be 5 stars across the board if we had better communication about the parking when I asked at the time of booking

Extended family - long weekend - get away

Our long weekend stay simply wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy the property with its amenities and location. Our extended family ranging from a 4 year-old to a 76 year-old all enjoyed the house and location. The house was very well stocked with usual kitchen tools and items needed to cook and care for a large family. The listing was accurately represented on the website and we found no discrepancies of any concern. For larger families note that the fridge and freezer are relatively small and plan accordingly, local shopping options exist. The hot tub was ready to go on our arrival and the BBQ worked well. Lake access for the family was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and having the ‘seaweed’ tickle their feet. Bringing some water toys is highly recommended. Diana, property manager from Fernie Central Reservations, was very helpful during our stay. Beautiful home, great location. Helpful manager. This was a wonderful home to stay in.

Lovely Property

This property was super enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The beds are comfy and everyone loved having their own bathroom. There’s plenty to do between the hot tub, the lake, the pool table and the fire pit. The home was great and the location amazing, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great fall getaway

Beautiful fall colors at very quit location. Fires in the fire pit by the lake, kayaking from the dock, many nice walks, and plenty of space for all of us in the house.

Lake Front Property with a Private Pier. There are security cameras on the front and back door bells. Boat Dock/Yard Camera as well but it will be disconnected so you can enjoy the outdoors privately. No other cameras.
