Denna anmärkningsvärda trä ramkonstruktion är för vacationer som uppskattar kvalitet och läge. Kimbers Timbers kommandon andlös utsikt över Elk Valley, skidbacken och Lizard range (Kanadas klippiga bergen). Konstruktion är främst av återvunnet douglasgran timmer, tagna från gallergolv av en bro som en gång korsade Columbiafloden vid Trail B. C

Denna lodge är idealiskt för företagsevent, bröllop och sammankomster. Det är en utmärkt plats för 2 till 3 familjer som vill dela boende medan du njuter av allt som Fernie har att erbjuda.

En unik täljsten spis eller "Tulikivi" ligger i vardagsrummet och har en "Forno", eller ugn. Matsalen har en stor egen matbord gjord av lärk och plats för upp till tolv gäster. We appreciate no smoking on the decks as well.

Winter tires are required by BC law Oct 1st to April 30th. All wheel or 4 wheel drive is needed to get up our steep street and into our driveway.

The snow removal service won't clean the driveway unless vehicles are moved. Timing to be confirmed with the owner.

Fantastic!!!

Incredible property. Meticulously maintained, beautifully clean and very well stocked with all the kitchen kit you might need. The piste (holohike- blue and Holiday - green) are directly over the road so truly ski to door. There is an enormous and well thought out kit room in the garage to remove skis and boots, and a boot warmer so they are ready to go in the morning. The house is lovely and warm with under floor heating. The photos do not do it justice. My daughter was worried the furnishings looked dated as so many hotels are plain white cotton nowadays! But they were thoroughly modern and high quality. There was nothing we would change and would return in a heartbeat. Kim is a fantastic host and helped us with ski pass recommendations and local hire recommendations too. we hope we can return to "KimbersTimbers" soon!

Exceptional accommodations

Everything about the place and our stay was fantastic A few very minor comments; coffee machine is very slow, main floor rooms did not have hooks to hang towels, and since we there during Super Bowl, it would have been nice if the TV was biggerAll of the above are minor, as we loved the place

Fernie guys trip

Great located house that is ski in/ski out. The hot tub was wonderful. Kitchen had everything needed to make all meals. Communication with Kim was great. I highly recommend this rental.

Great stay!

We had such a lovely reading week at Kim and Jane’s- the home was expansive and cozy at the same time- great for 2 families with teens. The hosts are very kind and responsive. The ski in and out location was top notch. The ski station in the garage was great and very convenient. We also appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped, since we love to cook. The views are amazing, and it was a lovely place to be holed up in on a couple of the very cold days. We are looking forward to coming back! Thanks Kim and Jane!

Excellent ski in and out!

Overall it was very good. There was lots of cupboards in the kitchen, but very few to put any of our food in. Most of them were locked, so we had to put our stuff on the counter. However there was lots of space in kitchen, dining room and in the living room. Getting to the hot tub from the main living space was a bit inconvenient. You had to go out the front door and go down steps and around to the back of the house to get there. We enjoyed our stay.

Ski in Ski out Vacation

We had a fantastic time on our group ski trip staying at the Kimbers Timbers house. Ski in ski out access right across the street made our time on the mountain super convenient. Kim was a fantastic host who went out of his way to make our accommodations and visit really enjoyable. House was perfect for our stay and the hot tub was a welcome sight after a long day on the mountain. Made so many great memories with friends at the house and at the Fernie Resort. We couldn’t have planned it any better.

Great Family Vacation!

This beautiful spacious home is in an excellent ski in/ski out location at Fernie Alpine Resort. We are a family who has used Fernie and an after Christmas gathering spot for many years and we really appreciate the extra space Kimber’s Timbers provided us to enjoy each other’s company and also not trip over each other! (The “kids” aren’t kid-sized anymore.) The kitchen was very well equipped and organized and had everything we needed and the sleeping spaces were very comfortable. We appreciated the space in the garage to store our ski gear. We would definitely return another year.

Wonderful place to stay in Fernie!

We loved our stay in this beautiful, spacious house on the mountain in Fernie. The house is clean and well stocked and is in a peaceful setting among the trees and wildlife. It was the perfect home base for our family. We hope to come back and stay again.

Great Ski-in/Ski-out location

A very unique house with great amenities. The owner stocks it well and maintains the house well. Lots of kitchen supplies and spices, etc. Great location for skiing. Our group of 8 guys enjoyed the house and never felt crowded. Strongly recommend this house.

Great Ski in Ski out location

Sadly my Husband and I was unable to Travel due to covid, but my friends were still able to go, and have a great holiday. They said that Kimbers timbers was a great location and were impressed with the well equipped kitchen.

Great stay at Kimbers Timbers

Really enjoyed the place. Amazing location steps from the hill, which made for a true ski in and ski out experience. Place was beautiful and huge. Cooked all of our dinners in the chalet and the amenities were excellent. Everything is well marked and easy to find. Hot tub was well used. Would stay again in a heart beat. We were a group of six friends and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Class Ski Trip

Our group has been going on an annual class ski trip since we were in university together. We've stayed at many different properties at several ski resorts and this property was our favourite one we've been too. The ski-in/ski-out access is far better than any other place we've stayed, The bedroom layout was great, and the kitchen was very well stocked.

Ski Fernie BC

It is a beautiful property with exceptional ski-in/ski-out location at the Fernie Alpine Resort. Living, dining and kitchen areas exceptional for a family group; ski storage area (heated garage) wonderful; bedrooms and bathrooms OK. We only learned of the desirability of 4-wheel drive at the 11th hour - fortunately we had it and needed it! Snow clearing was sketchy to non-existent, that may not always be a problem but we had over a meter of snow while we were there.

We are CaliFernians, ie. Calgarians that commute to Fernie for recreation in the mountains. In the 80's we lived in Canmore (near Banff), but usually travelled to Fernie on winter weekends to enjoy the powder skiing. From 2000 to 2004 (yes it took a long time to build!) we built Kimbers Timbers. Fernie is a great get away from the city. The best access to the ski hill is right out the front door of our chalet. When the ski season ends we almost have the mountain to ourselves together with the wildlife!
